I walked out my back door to throw garbage into the trash barrels outside, and when I returned to the door, my 2 year old daughter had turned the bottom lock to the security door. Mikes locks was very timely in arrival. I had misplaced the key on my 2007 bmw that requires a complicated process to reprogram. I was quoted a price of 350.00. After spending about an hour and 15 minutes attempting to program the ignition mike noted that the 2007 bmw is very difficult to reprogram. During his attempts, we located the original key. This was a great relief to us and i informed mike. He was quite happy that we located the key and informed us that we could give him just 50.00 dollars for his time. I felt that this was more than fair and offered 75.00. It is good to know that there are business people with integrity that are not out to make just make a killing. I just put the ribs in the smoker, I had the Mac and cheese in the oven I forgot one thing so I ran to stater Bros for what I thought would be a five minute fetch ,and go, lol yea right. My 2003 Honda Civics ignition key would not turn, and I was stuck at a parking lot. I called Mike and he was able to come out the next day and meet me at the spot. We made the mistake of locking our only pair of keys in our Mercedes' trunk. Called in mike to help us out. He arrived 30 minutes after the call in this red caravan. At first we thought he was Russian with his accent, soon to known, he was actually Israeli. He educated us on why it's so difficult to break into Mercedes, and why their locks are built like safes. And after thinking about it, it made sense because I don't recall Mercedes being known to be stolen. Very happy with the service. My daughter needed a spare key made. You know the new kind that you have to get cut and then programmed to work with the car. We ordered keys from an online store but they sent us the wrong type. Mike came to the rescue because he had a key in stock that was the right type. So he cut and programmed the key and we were outta there in under 15 minutes. So the price he quoted us was for 2 key cuts and programming, but since ours didn't work and we used Mikes supply. Very happy with the service provided by Mike's Locks. Our Sienna has a special key that requires a laser cut and specialized programming. I called several places in the high desert and Mike was the only person that said he could handle the job. He came out right away and the price was very reasonable when compared to the dealer. I recommend mikes locks! He really helped us out when our car was locked and we only had an Ignition key. He went out of his way to come to us where we were stranded and got into our car. Mike was great. My wife had locked her keys in the trunk of our car. The car was a Mercedes and it auto locked when I tried to slim jim the car. Mercedes told me that I was going to have to have my car towed to Ontario and then pay nearly $400 to unlock the trunk. Mike was the only locksmith who responded to us late at night.
