This was in 2010; I have used no one else since. They have been polite over the phone and very efficient. The lady on the phone always knew where her technicians were and would coordinate their work to blend my needs into their busy day. They came almost immediately, depending on my needs and their workload. If my unit was still somewhat working, I understood that there were people needing immediate attention having no cooling or heat -- then they should have a higher priority to service than I. Recently in a hot July, 2025, our central system finally quit; we became those needing their immediate attention and we got it. They gave me an acceptable estimate on a new Rheem unit with the same capability as had been working so well. They arrived at 7:30 a.m. and left near 5:00 p.m. with the complete new cooling and gas-heating system operating properly. It has been operating a week and everything is still working fine. If problems develop, I am sure they will give me the same fine service I have been receiving...though under warranty -- as appropriate. I have always been impressed with the technicians' manner and professionalism and their keeping me informed. (I am a retired NASA engineer and I ask questions -- I understand their answers.) I feel fortunate that more than 15 years ago, I started using Deluxe services. The new unit was installed during this one day and for no more cost than their original estimate. I cannot recommend Deluxe A/C and Heat's services higher.

The guys that work for this company have all been incredibly polite, knowledgeable, and prompt. The installation and service repairs I have received over the years were the best you could possibly expect. I was a service tech at one time and I performed service calls so I feel I know how service should be conducted. Their attention to detail and quality is something you will rarely find these days. After an installation, the owner has always come by to inspect the job before they leave and I have seen him ask his techs to do additional touchups he felt were necessary. The job is done right and they lay down canvas cloths everywhere across the floor to protect your home. I can only speak for my experience but I feel these guys are the best you will find in this area. Their service after the sale has been incredible and reliable as well.

Saul will come to your location, failing to disclose his diagnostic costs and fees even though you ask, as it will be hidden in his "doing you a favor" demeanor and speech. He will give you a mediocre assessment then afterwards, offer you the repairs and parts needed at a deceptive high amount. Then when you do not agree, push you with the excessive service call fee then states it would be integrated in the overall cost if you agree to the work. But as you research the recommendation, discover that the items needed are 10 times lower than his quoted price added with his considerably high labor service markup. Integrity is definitely not part of this business. Beware of Saul if you value the efficacy of your home. Trying to scam someone just because it was late hours and obviously no supervision or accountability for evaluations is just wrong. Apparently, Saul thinks his unstated service call fees, elevated labor cost, and ballooned part amounts equates to fair and just business practices. Shame on Saul. Luckily his company's competitor fixed the problem for less than half of Saul's fabricated total. This Company is all talk, and in reality, it's all bait and switch scam as I was left with a forced high diagnostic bill. I regret doing business with Saul Heating Air & Refrigeration, LLC. Next stop is the BBB, State Consumer Affairs and the Federal Trade Commission if not released from this unwritten and unsigned contract.

Called Kickin A/C Inc. at 10am and left a message this morning because the upstairs A/C wasn't…read morecooling fast enough and I noticed ice formation on the inside coils. Kickin A/C showed up 3 hrs after my call and fixed it. While here they also serviced the downstairs unit. Turns out the upstairs unit was low on freon and had a bad capacitor, a bad drain cap and the drain was partially clogged. The AC service person told me to pour 1 cup of regular white distilled vinegar down each drain plug with the monthly ac filters change to keep the drains clean. I was informed the downstairs unit had adequate freon and that the coils were clean. Kickin AC is reliable, super honest, easy on the budget and very quick to respond. This is my 4th year using them for all my heating and cooling needs. If I could give them 10 stars I would.

Expert Air A/C took over Dusty's Air Conditioning Service when Dusty retired. We had used Dusty's…read morefor a decade. I was at a loss to know where to turn. But Expert is as reliable and responsible as Dusty's. They honor the warranty from the new unit we bought from Dusty. They come out promptly, are good at diagnosing problems and getting your unit up and cooling again quickly and without unnecessary drama. Michael, one of the A/C techs, has taken care of us for years. I knew his wife and she called him at the first sign of a problem. He is friendly and excellent at what he does. He helped us choose a larger, 2-stages unit with dehumidifier when we saw or unit was underserved. We have Bern very happy with it, ad MYB budge loves it cold, but the dehumidifier keeps it from feeling damp and uncomfortable. We consider Michael like one off the family! He still works there, but at Expert. Other techs have also come out and done a great job, as well. In New Orleans, we had a number of adequate and terrible companies, but on the Northshore, we only ever needed one. I can't say enough about this company!
