Garrett from DoneRite promptly came out to check our unit, answered all of our questions, and the very next day we received the quote for the work to be done along with 4 possible HVAC systems in different price ranges to consider. Garrett was very concerned about our comfort while we waited for the new unit to be shipped. The old unit was leaking freon and the temperature in the house was staying around 87 degrees. He made an extra trip out to add some freon to keep us comfortable until the new system arrived, and called several times during this period to make sure we were okay. On installation day, Garrett and his crew did a very thorough job. It was obvious that they wanted to make certain that everything was working perfectly before they left. All of the employees that we interacted with were very nice, and concerned about us. They are an honest, responsive, meticulous, knowledgeable, professional business, and we felt that their prices were very reasonable. We will not hesitate to call them in the future when we need A/C or heating work done.

One STAR because ZERO is not an option. I am a property manager for a home where DoneRite HVAC…read moreinstalled a new Daikin central system. From the beginning, the system was shutting itself down for no apparent reason. DoneRite claimed that changing out the attic duct system would resolve the issue, so $4500 was spent doing that with no improvement whatsoever from this unnecessary expense. After this, DoneRite told me that it must be an electrical issue in the home. I had an electrician come out to inspect the wiring and no issues were found that could cause this. Additionally, I had the power company come out to inspect their connection. No issues found. During the entire process, DoneRite has been unresponsive to texts and phone calls. I haven't been able to get a person to answer the phone in their office for weeks. At one point, the owner of the company did finally return a call and told me he would try one thing and failing that working he would make a warranty claim on our behalf. Since that time, he hasn't returned a call, letter or email (it's been weeks) We have been ghosted by them totally. Meanwhile, we have 10 years left on our vaunted 12 year warranty, but DoneRite won't assist us in resolving this matter through our warranty. The catch 22 is that Daikin requires an authorized dealer to make a claim. DoneRite won't help and other companies are reluctant to take on this type of system and/or take on a warranty claim for a system they didn't install or service. Meanwhile this system is now shutting down daily and must be reset daily in order to work.

Extremely disappointed with this company. During a service visit, the technician went ahead and…read moreperformed a check without ever disclosing that it would be a billable service. There was zero communication that what they were doing would result in a charge -- not even a heads-up. When I asked for an estimate, they failed to provide that as well. This is completely unacceptable and misleading. It's not about the amount -- it's about the lack of honesty and transparency. No company should assume they can charge for something without first getting the customer's consent. I won't be using them again and wouldn't recommend them to anyone who values straightforward and honest service.

The Corkern technicians that came & fixed my clogged a/c drain were professional & courteous. I appreciate the honesty & promptness of this company. It can be intimidating to pick one company out of sooo many. Who do you call in an emergency? (I had water dripping from my ceiling) Well I'm glad I called Corkern! We have found the company that I will refer all my friends & neighbors too.

Due to the nature of our job, we are unable to hire WAM for it, but we cannot express how very impressed we were with them from start to finish! (Impressed enough to take the time to do a review.) Ashley was unusually sympathetic and kind to our situation from the first phone call. And Andrew was the epitome of grace and understanding when I told him we had to hire another company, and even told me that we could call them anytime with any questions we might have. It's been quite some time since we've seen such understanding and caring service! We will, without a doubt, be hiring them in the future. They are professional, reliable, honest, considerate and extremely helpful. We would say, "Stop looking, and just call them!"

They did not and we failed inspection. The inspector for the parish called them as she stated they should have known what the parish wanted prior to accepting the job. They then charged us another $500 for 40 minutes worth of work to ground the pool with copper wire. Wire is expensive but the labor should have been free in my opinion due to them not knowing it was code and required. I would have at least expected them to split the cost with us. 2 stars because the work was done but we won't ever use them again.
