Mike's fixed an issue on my 2014 Honda Pilot. Turned out great. They were recommended by another shop for this work. The issue was that a welded nut had become loose on the rear driver upper shock mount. They had to make a small cut in from the interior of car at the wheel area to reweld a new nut and fix the plate. Took about four hours and issue is fixed. Thanks guys. read more

The Toyota dealer said my 2017 Tacoma had a power steering fluid leak into the rack and pinion. I called this place on a recommendation. I was told to "clean off the engine and bring it in". I wiped off the rack an pinion boots and drove it over. When I got there I was told I needed to clean my engine really good before they could look at it. I tried to explain that my engine was clean but he insisted I had it done or got some de-greaser on it so he could tell if something was dripping on the R and P and I said, "dripping on both sides?" I got a "well ah no". I left there and never looked back. Ladies, don't wear white, cuz you're gonna be detailing your engines before they can even look under the hood. read more

But that aside not all of us have the money to spend on a taxi or an Uber to take us home and then back again. And being that the restrictions have been severely relaxed,they should be able to accommodate there customers who have been loyal to them throughout the years in my case over 20 years. Literally the best of the best. Took my 2004 Tundra Doublecab 4X4 to a shop in Mammoth after having an off-roading incident which blew both passenger tires and roached the steering. The shop replaced the tires and said, "Everything's fine, we re-aligned it, you're good to go." It didn't seem to drive right so when I got back into the valley I took it to another shop. They "allegedly" did a 4 wheel alignment and checked everything out and said, "Good to go." After driving it for awhile it didn't feel right. I took it to yet another shop and they said, "We're not messing with that, take it to Mike's Frame & Alignment." Mike and his crew did a thorough inspection, figured out what the problem was and FIXED it. Bent control arm, busted tie rod ends - all fixed and then an actual 4 wheel alignment. The thing drives like a dream now. All for an EXTREMELY reasonable price, honestly a dealership probably would have charged 3-4X the amount I paid and would have likely screwed it up worse. After a recommendation from an online forum, I took a new 2020 Tacoma to Mike's for alignment after installing a 2" lift with new coil-overs and adjustable upper control arms. I was not given a quote before work was performed, then I was charged well over the regular market price for alignment. I was not provided an alignment spec sheet. When I asked for one I was told they "don't do that". When I got the truck back it pulled hard to the right and camber was obviously very off. Camber adjustment was not performed correctly using the aftermarket UCAs. The lower control arm adjustment cams were rounded over, the upper ball join retaining nut was rounded over, and the inner tie rod was severely damaged. It appeared the only tools they used to perform the alignment were a Cresent wrench and a pair of Channel Locks. Everything was either rounded off or chewed-up. Don't bother calling this shop and leaving a message. The owner claimed they didn't check messages or return phone calls. Please do yourself a favor and take your business somewhere else. read more

High marks for Mike! Clacking sounds were coming from the front end of my car for at least two years. I was told by two different shops I needed new suspension struts and strut mounts for both the left and right side of the car. Estimates were in the high $1000+. I was concerned that both shops were gouging me for more work than was needed. Without going into detail with Mike, I dropped off the car for him to inspect. i left the car a day earlier than planned and was pleasantly surprised to hear from Mike earlier than expected. Great news, I only needed one strut mount, the strut looked fine and there was nothing wrong with the right side at all. Mike's cost was reasonable and he was able to get the work completed a day early. What more can you ask for from an auto shop (and he has cats!). read more

Bottom Line: There isn't anybody out there that takes the time to work on a car like Mike and Stafford. I drive a Mercedes and they are difficult at best to work on, and expensive. I have a 2006 Toyota Tacoma Prerunner V6. I was told by the Toyota dealer that I have a cracked frame near the left motor mount which turned out to be a known factory defect. The body shop that the dealer works with told me they couldn't repair it or it would cost $7000 - $10,000 to replace the frame which is not acceptable. I drive a Hyundai Santa Fe. After owning a Range Rover for 6 years, it was a GIANT step down. I thought, "Man, Hyundai's ride like a tin can."
