Hi everyone, I need to share a frustrating experience here in Florence, Kentucky, with Mike's Car…read moreWash (both locations). This was an ongoing issue. After using their ultimate car wash in time, the force of the tire shine rotating brushes hydraulically moved and pressed up against the wheels and the side of the car wore off my paint and eventually cracked one of my rockers. My car met all height requirements--it was five inches tall, and the minimum requirement on Mike's website was three inches. Also, there were no aftermarket parts on my car. Before I even signed up, I asked the manager if my car would be safe using their car wash. He measured it, looked at the wheels and tires, and said, "Yes, your car is safe here." But over time as the brushes spun to apply the tire shine, they also rubbed along my rocker panels as the car moved. I didn't know what was causing this for a while until after I had it repaired at a body shop and then saw the same damage come back after two months. When I took it to the body shop, they looked at it and asked, "Do you take your car to a car wash?" I said, "Yes." They asked, "Where?" and I said, "Mike's." They told me, "Don't take your car there. We've had numerous customers come in of damage like this happening at Mike's." I also recorded the audio on my phone and turned on my car's 360 cameras, and the manager at Mike's Car Wash looked at it while I was recording, taking pictures, and said, "Yes, I can see the tire shine is causing the damage." He gave me a brochure and said, "Call this number they might be able to take the tire shine part off your ultimate wash, and then no more damage will happen to your car." But that is not a fix, and neither is the letter that Mike's sent me, which was laughable--just them denying and making excuses that they didn't cause it. When I contacted my insurance they told me they'd had numerous claims submitted for damage caused by Mike's Car Wash, and the collision body shop also said, "Don't take your car there" I'm sharing this so others in Florence Kentucky can be aware and protect their cars. If you really value your car and want to keep it in pristine condition, I would strongly recommend not taking it to their business, because of the damage that happened to mine. I don't want to see that happen to other people. Especially when Mike"s takes no accountability to damage they caused to their customer's vehicles. And I have to pay the body shop twice now on damage Mike's has done to my car.

When I got home I had to do a wipe down everywhere as they did not do any of that, I found out later that they did not even clean the carpet nor the Matt's although it's apart of the package, based off a lot of reviews for this place it wouldn't even be worth asking for a refund. All he requires is a water and electric hook up, he brings the rest. So add that to your savings No Uber lifts or asking friends for 2 trips. The undercarriage spray works. I pull up until I hear the the message to stop and park. The front brushes start to spray then they go back to their side position and I hear a message to pull forward and exit the car wash. I waited a minute or so but the cycle did not start. I pulled around to the office. Knocked several times. No answer. Called the number on the sign for assistance but it went to VM. I left a message detailing exactly what happened and have yet to get a reply. Terrible customer service. I've been going there for years but I'm done. Mikes and Johnnys will get my and my families money and business.
