My hubby and I woke up early to get to Mike's. Our cars were filthy since the storms. They are so organized and even though it was crowded we were done in about 15 minutes. The workers are friendly and they know what their job entails. read more

It's really expensive and it never gets my car clean. The people that work there are nice, however. Sorry, but never again.

I have the monthly unlimited plan ,everytime i go through it never touches my tail gate i ha e told 3 rimes and still it is never washed i usually dont realize it until i get home,i have to stop and look at it i guess but should not have to go through a second or third time,i dont have time fir that,im going back through tommorow and tell them again if it does not clean the tailgate then i will cancel the monthly subscription and go somewhere else,o bought this for the convenience and to save time ,not ro have ro keep going through it overand over. read more

Overpriced and sucks. I got a $29 wash. They charge for vacuums which is crazy. Modwash is way better, a monthly subscription there is cheaper than one wash here and the wash is better. they also have free vacuums, free cleaning supplier, free chemicals to use for cleaning. Mikes needs to catch up. read more

This Mike's staff is very nice and professional; The wash quality is good generally and a good value.

The only reason I am giving it 2 stars is because of the employees whom are very kind and friendly and because of the amount of vacuum cleaner spots they have which around 10 or more. But the cleaning of the car per say gets worst and worst. I always get the Ultimate which is the one where the wheels get shined and now have a "Ceramic" option too, so I expect that my car comes out perfectly clean and with shined tires, previous to this last time I went and it cleaned ok, always a few spots that need to be cleaned by hand but the tires weren't shined as I expected. I decided to leave it as it is and left. This last time was as if the car was washed by a pressure washer with no soap and half of the tires where shined for $20+... definitely not coming back. read more

Florence, KY...do not waste your money on the Ultimate car washes because the tire shine buffets are not working correctly. Second time this happened to me. They only offer to run your car through again but who has time to wait in line for that again?!? Very dissatisfied with their current service quality and customer service!! read more

service at Mike's car wash today was very aggravating very unprofessional. There was some young guys that did not know what they was doing. They had not been trained correctly. It took me anywhere from 30 to 45 minutes to get my car washed they gave me the wrong wash. I had to depart in order to attend my meeting. It was quite frustrating, as the issues stemmed from inadequate training. read more

Mike's Carwash does an excellent job! We have been using this business for many years now and the customer service is great! The younger kids love to see the stuffed animals hanging out at the carwash like Elmo! If your vehicle has any dirt or spots that didn't come clean they will let you go through the wash again at no cost. To help lower the cost we like to buy the gift cards from Sam's Club and Costco which are discounted (like $75 for $100 worth of gift cards) and then use them to purchase the discounted books at Mike's Carwash! They run a special deal for a book at certain times of the year that has buy 4 washes and get 2 free which is a great deal! Our favorite wash is the Works! The onsite vacuums cost additional but they are powerful and they definitely do an excellent job cleaning up a messy car! read more

I just went for the first time to the one in Florence. When I got home I noticed that the back of the truck was not even touched. The whole tailgate and bumper was still dirty. I will not be going back to that location. read more

I got two coupon for car wash, so after my Chicago trip, i came here for a wash. It's Saturday, a lot of people seems have the same idea. So i wait in line. I found out from someone at the Toyota dealership. That the reason my brakes are rusting so bad is because I go through Mike's too much. We are denying liability for your rusted brake calipers as brake calipers are prone to rusting because they are unprotected steel. And I told them I understand that brakes rust. Just not like this in one year. Even look at the picture from 10 months ago when I first posted about Mike's if you can zoom in on my front brakes they look fantastic. Plus brake rotors are not just made out of steel. If you've ever worked on brakes you know that. I am male that has done mechanic and body work before. And in my lifetime I've never seen brakes rust like this in one year. Now I'd like to say that I am sorry to the staff. The Florence store has a great staff. When I get told that the reason my brakes are rusting is because of the wheel bright chemical that is sprayed on my wheel every time I go through. I have to question that? Or they offered to fix my brake calipers. I wasn't asking for new. Just to re-powder coat my brake calipers. I will be responsible for the brake pads and the rotors. I've never seen brakes on a 19 vehicle anywhere in this country with brakes that look as bad as mine! I watched another 18 Toyota tundra come out of Mike's today and I ask him if I could look at his brakes. I even took pictures. his brakes looked fantastic. But he says that he only goes through Mike's about once a month. I bought the unlimited. And used it as a therapeutic way to ease my nights. Taking care of my parents And it was a way for me to feel like I can get through the day each day by washing my truck. I said I was going to post is Mike's I am getting another mechanic involved tomorrow. read more

Really quick drive thru experience that does get my truck mostly clean (the back window never gets done and the tailgate is very hit/miss). For the prices charged, the vacuum should be complementary. Also, other washes that I have used have air sprayers in the detail area to help get water out of the mirror housing. Would be nice to have those too. read more

Absolutely the worst mikes car wash in the tristate. I went by today to get a car wash and I told them to get under my fender wells they did but a very bad job the look on the kids face looked like he didn't even want to be there he took absolutely no effort in spraying my truck down. Once I got home I notice my right side tires were still dirty and weren't shined very disappointed. If I was the manager of this place I would fire Ben asap they're definitely not getting my money ever again. read more

Most of the vacuum stations were closed And the others were all in use. Why are so many closed? Poor management. And all the people who have unlimited washes think they get to cut in front of everyone else. That is not right! Very customer unfriendly. Very disappointed! read more

This location has damaged two of my vehicles this year. They denied both of course. The first occurred in January. I was shocked at the amount of damage (paint chipped to the silver metal) on my hood, roof, trunk lid and both sides of my car. When I got home, I thought it was dried soap. I went to wipe it off that night and discovered it was not soap by the silver metal showing. I visited the location the next morning to file the claim and was surprised to learn the wash itself was closed due to "maintenance" with two Mikes trucks there. I asked about the maintenance and they didn't say what was being done....odd. I filed a claim then and Mike's sent their generic letter within a week refusing that their location caused it. Since I had a car wash book, I decided to take my other vehicle there on September 17th. There were two vehicles in front of me and I noticed that, as we were waiting to enter, the car wash itself was not running and there were two employees looking at the spinning equipment on the left side. At this point, I couldn't do anything since I was in line. When I got out the other side of the wash, I saw similar damage to the paint on the left side of my hood/side of car as well as what looks like 3-4 gouges in the top of the grill...all on the left side. I filed a claim and received the same generic letter several days later. When I filed the claim at the location and stated I saw the two employees inside, the employee looked nervous and had someone else come out to finish the paperwork. The employee asked me if I have my vehicle cleaned other places to which I confirmed I do not.....odd they would ask that unless they know what car wash damage looks like. Additionally, Mike's claims to video record everything and review the video on all claims. There is simply no way they do this. The damage to both vehicles is similar so there is no question. I keep my vehicles in great condition so having paint chipped down to the silver metal is caused by their equipment. Avoid this place! read more

On Friday, September 9th around 8pm I took my last Mike's carwash ride. As any other time, I pull onto the track but to hear and feel the crunch of my front end hit something. I could see the faces of multiple employees that told me something bad had happened. I got out to confirm the front bumper had ripped and somehow hung on a portion of the entrance track. After exit the employees do a clearance check to confirm the height of my vehicle is and applies to their standards. A formal report was done and state that someone will be in touch in 2-3 business days. Before I leave I was approached by another employee stating the car wash had recently been worked on, and a portion of the track had been replaced. Over a week goes by to receive a letter in the mail from from Janeese Sarrazin (Customer claims manager) Stating the damage didn't happened there. You can imagine what this felt like. I'm a car guy. It's important to me to have a nice, clean car. Now my car is wrecked and I'm being told it is previous damage, good luck, Janneese (claims manager), hopes that I will continue to be customer, and return for business in the future. What a sad and disappointing reply. On Mikes car wash website they mention the word INTEGRITY. This means communicating in an honest and direct manner, holding yourself accountable, and treating others with the respect they deserve. I feel this company does not represent or conduct business as such. They have absolutely not shown integrity in my experience. read more

To my surprise they charge 2 dollars extra for vacuums. Every car wash I've ever been to, across the country, the vacuums are part of the car wash price. If I had known before paying their top dollar selection I would have not paid for a car wash. My bad I assumed all car washes included the vacuum. Although not much I have no idea if the time limit on the 2 dollar vacuum is sufficient to do the whole car without having to rush around to get it all vacuumed before it shuts off. read more

Prior to my last trip here, I would have given this place at least 4 stars, but they managed to go above and beyond and ruin it for me. However, I'll start with the positives... The wash is good and one of the few that get my vehicles clean. I use to drive from Northern Kentucky to Beechmont, just to use a Mike's car wash. They also guarantee it clean, so if you come out and its not clean you can go back through. It is a touch car wash, which I personally prefer, but I know some people prefer touchless. The attendants are always friendly and sometimes even have bones if you have our dog with you. Now to my bitter spot. I was taking my truck though, which I have done many times at several Mike's location. The attendant I paid said he needed to take my antenna off. I didn't think too much of it, but of all the times at Mike's it had only been taken off one other time. He couldn't unscrew it with his hands, so he uses a wrench and BREAKS it! He told me to go in and fill out a report, which I did. I then get a letter saying they were sorry, but it wasn't their fault and gave me a free car wash. So I call the number and get in touch with someone who tells me that their employee said the antenna was damaged prior to him trying to take it off and that's why it broke, so its not their fault. If that was the case, I would have thought he would have said something to me or not tried to remove it. If this happened in the car wash, it would have been a totally different story. There are signs everywhere that state you are using the touch car wash at your own risk. My beef is that it was their employee that broke it, not their car wash (and it was never broken in the wash in prior visits). Nonetheless, it was their employee's word against mine, and it was clear they didn't want to listen to me. read more

I've drove past this place many times and i've always thought that it was a nice little place. After buying a new car I wanted to get set up at a car wash to keep my car looking good. I'm typically very picky and normally wash my car with a pressure washer and foam canon at my house. BUT running your own business also comes with limited free time, so I decided to give Mikes a shot to save me some time here and there. I signed up for a rewards account and was gifted a free ultimate wash. We pull up and the attendant scans my coupon and off into the wash we go. Now this was my first time going thru a wash with this car. Keep in mind it is also brand new. I come out the other side after the wash and when I got out upon FIRST inspection everything was good and my car looked pretty clean. I pull up to a vacuum pump and then I start to see the scratches. Tons of little scratches along the bottom trim on my car and some little dings and chips different places on the hood and front and back fenders. I was livid. Never again will I ever trust a car wash. I'd rather just dedicate time to washing my car by hand than having to deal with gathering a collection of scratches with each wash. I'm just glad it was free and I didn't have to pay. Make sure you check your car before pulling off the lot and get photos before and after your wash. read more

The last time I had my car washed at this location the car wash sprayed a greasy oil substance down the driver side of my car. When I went back to complain the manager admitted that some other people had also complained today of the same issue. Apparently at the very end of the wash cycle before drying a hydraulic line was leaking and sprayed fluid down the side of my vehicle. There only resolution was to promise to send me in the mail a free car wash coupon. The manager took my name and address, phone. After waiting one week and not receiving any response, I called the manager and he said come in today and mention his name for a free wash. I didn't have time on that particular day to do this. Not that it would have rectified the problem anyway. On the day this happened I had to clean my own car with rubbing alcohol and tar remover to get the sticky grease splatters of my paint and windows. When I rinsed the car the water instantly froze because it was freezing cold outside. This management would take no responsibility for this machine malfunction. They treated me horribly and could care less about the incident. I did try to escalate the situation to corporate but that did not get any results either because I could not cut all the red tape. All they had to do to rectify the problem was to offer me a detail including a wax to remove the grease from my car. read more

I went to a "full service" car wash for 20 years, a place that is a still a great car wash. I finally tried Mike's about a 1 1/2 years ago. I had a ton of bugs on the car that I alerted them to, and the vehicle came out with a lot of residual bugs. I complained and immediately they issued me a re-wash and an additional car wash at no cost. -Great reaction. I now have a monthly unlimited wash package that keeps my car clean, -all the time. Their equipment and technology is "state of the art". I clean my own interior. At"full service" places, the interior job was hit and miss, so I do it myself. The fact that Mike responds to so many of the complaints on this site tells the story. You can feel the proprietary touch of an owner. Great Job! -Tom W. read more

Maybe it's just me but... the trip through the wash seams to get faster and faster. Went through today and must have been doing 30. This car wash just does an ok job. This place is money hungry and absolutely sick for putting it's employees through a snow blizzard that has temperatures as low as -6 degrees with the wind radars are saying it feels like -26 degrees. Three things that make me dislike this car wash chain over the others: 1. Be prepared on busy days like today to wait patiently in 3 lines with 30 other customers (no problem, I get that) only to have 6 or 8 cars cut in front of everybody through the "unlimited washes Lane". I get that they purchased unlimited washes but it's totally disrespectful to allow them to barge through in front of all the other customers....make them get into the same lines as everyone else! Hey Mike's management, you piss off a whole lot more Customers than you make happy by allowing this. 2. After waiting in line and getting through the wash, there frequently are NO vacuums available, as was the case today when SEVEN of them had a cone in front or them.....all were out of order?? Mike's management, you make a crap load of money, how about fixing these? 3. Anyone driving an SUV should plan on having to wipe the whole rear of the vehicle down, as the window rarely is clean and the dryers leave the rear dripping wet. There's a car wash chain in the South called Ronnie's that does a perfect job, costs only $6 and has free vacuums and mat washing. Mike's better hope that this franchise never makes it into Mike's areas, or the stuffed animals will be looking for work. read more

Been through this location 100 times. Every once in a while they will measure my truck even though I tell them I've been through many times before. I would get a wash at the Florence location once a week. On one occasion my antenna base was nearly ripped off when the poor girl couldn't distinguish righty tighty from lefty loosy. Recently went to get it washed and they measure, too wide. Too wide? I guess they don't like money cause I won't be back. I didn't realize vehicles widen over time.
