This fellow is an honest man and I can't recommend him enough. A shady mechanic would have found something else unrelated to "fix" on my car for a high price (easy to do! my little clown car is a decade old and has suffered much in the way of UV damage from living in Texas. my inside door pockets are shattered to bits and I need to order replacement parts someday.). This guy, however, knocked out my request in 10 minutes. He found the missing bolt on my ABS system that had caused it to slip out of place, he stuck a new bolt in, and it was all dandy. He didn't charge me a single dime. Definitely come down here if you need some honest service. Friendly heads up: there isn't a lot of staff at this shop, so if you need something done *Today* Today in peak season you might have trouble getting immediate service. I was scheduled a week from when I brought my car in. In my opinion, though, it is worth the wait. You can't beat this quality service and honest business. They told me that another place in town had been offering me prices that were fairly high. They told me that they would take a look and offered me much lower price prices, and ended up not even charging me that because they said it wasn't time for repair yet, and the that part in question would still get me another year or two at least (the other place I went to previously was very vague, saying that I should probably get it repaired sooner rather than later, without giving me a firm, clear reason why). read more

When you hear stories of auto repair shops taking advantage of people and squeezing every last dime out of you, they are speaking of a place like this. I have never been talked down to and treated in such a condescending manner as I was by the infamous "Mike". He has the aura of a snake that would take candy from a baby. I pity anyone that unknowingly allows such a self righteous and dishonest man take advantage of him in the manner he attempted to with me. A 2006, Mazda 3 with a busted headlight and a slightly dented hood with a bumper that could be snapped in came to a whopping $3100. The exact same amount as the cars worth. Mike personally told me all about what was wrong with my car even though the problem was unreplicatable. After diagnosing it he spent a half an hour talking to me explaining all the things I can do to make sure this doesn't happen again free of charge. The other times when I've gotten repairs their the prices have been very fair and he's working very fast. read more

Extremely transparent with what work will be preformed and what it will cost. I got a free estimate and never felt rushed or obligated to make a decision on the spot or without considering my options. When I returned to have the work done I left without remembering to ask what the final price would be but the bill wasn't a cent more than what they had estimated it to be. A few weeks later I came in with a different car I was preforming a small repair on and couldn't get a rusted bolt loose. Mike came out and immediately helped me get it off, even providing some tips to free bolts like this in the future. On top of this he wouldn't accept any money for his time. Truly a class act. As a college student I had worries that I could be treated unfairly because I am at the mercy of the mechanic in this situation.
