This last move with You Move Me was perfect. The movers arrived right on time in a large clean truck that held a houseful of furnishings. I have a large art collection and they packed this expensive cargo carefully, and then unpacked each painting for me. I marvelled at how well they maneuvered large pieces of furniture that could not fit in the elevator and carried them up several flights of stairs with expertise and care. When I realized one large sofa would not fit into the doorway of my new home they brought it back down the stairs and drove me back to my old house to store it there. This was very thoughtful! The two men who did the move were pleasant, smart, experienced and very conscientious. I would use them again without hesitation and am happy to have had my first perfect and worry free move!

You Move Me has been unwilling to take responsibility for extensive damage to my property caused by its employees, plus endorsed its employees' actions of having opened and searched through my baggage and purses without my knowledge or consent. I feel compelled to share with other consumers my horrific experience with this company. I hired Guelph-Kitchener You Move Me for a recent move, for which I was charged almost $4,000.00. The movers caused damage to all four new appliances--plus irreparable damage to valuable and irreplaceable furniture they failed to package or protect. The movers concealed the damage, except that to one appliance they could not hide. The owner-manager then promised to either professionally repair or replace that appliance--but failed to do so. I soon spotted the additional damage the movers had hidden and left for me to discover. I immediately contacted the owner-manager of Guelph-Kitchener You Move Me, and provided photographs of the damage. He replied by acknowledging the damage his employees caused, but then failed to respond to my many subsequent attempts to resolve the matter. I wish I had instead hired a professional, competent, and insured moving company for my short move, and avoided the horrific and costly experience I have had with Guelph-Kitchener You Move Me. Needless to say, I would absolutely not recommend using this company.

That was a firm deal in writing. We were given a bill for nearly $1650 and they cited having to wait extra time (which we negotiated) and they didn't put the second bed together or have to move many items. I had to argue just to get the price back down to the agreed upon deal. THEY WILL NOT HONOR THEIR WORD. CHOOSE A DIFFERENT COMPANY.

When I lifted my garage door to leave for a scheduled appointment the box of the truck was right there. When we asked them to move, the women proceeded to make it well known she was not happy. She was obviously not happy we asked her to move her truck. One of them even suggested they only had one or two more items to move. My appointment was at least a 45 minute drive and we needed to leave. We pointed out she was parked in the wrong location and was going the wrong way in a one way drive for 22 garages. There are signs for no parking and one way, but they appeared to ignored them, probably to make their job easier. All they needed to do was move the truck so we could leave versus an argument breaking out with two seniors. I forced them to take a break for lunch, and they were very appreciative. I will never ask friends to help me move again. I paid a fair price for a great service. No nonsense pricing.
