The very next day after taking delivery of a preowned vehicle from Raisor Preowned, my brakes started making a very unusual noise. i took my car to a nearby Lexus dealer who did a diagnostic check of the brakes operating system and told me that the brake actuator was going out and the car would be too dangerous to drive. The cost to replace it would be $3700. I tried to contact the sales manager (Coby), who after several attempts to reach him, told me that since I did not opt to purchase the extended warranty agreement for an additional $650.00, that I would have to pay for it.
This guy was very detached about the conversation as it was apparent that this was just another daily complaint from an unsuspecting buyer who had just found out that his purchase was not what he thought it was. In retrospect it is now obvious that his attempt to hard sell me on the extended insurance policy at the time of purchase was to protect him from a claim, as he clearly, knew of the brake problem.
I chose to purchase this car from Raisor as they have a long business history in the Lafayette, Indiana marketplace and i assume that they could be trusted! "HOW WRONG I WAS" This is my mistake and fortunately I can afford to pay for it. There are many prospective purchasers who cannot do that nor should they be mislead.
i suggest "Buyer Beware", RAISOR can not be TRUSTED read more
