We can't say enough great things about our experience working with Mike! As first-time homebuyers, we were naturally nervous about navigating the process, but he made it feel easy and stress-free from start to finish. His professionalism, deep knowledge of the Chicago market--especially the Gold Coast--and his ability to clearly guide us through each step made all the difference. He really listened to what we were looking for and helped us find a condo we absolutely love. We never felt rushed or pressured, just fully supported. We're so happy with our purchase that we've already decided to work with him again on our next venture--an investment property. That alone speaks volumes. If you're looking for a realtor who genuinely cares and truly knows the city, look no further. Highly recommended! read more

If you are looking for a Realtor, look no further! My husband & I were very focused on finding the perfect property. We are out of state buyers, and needed that extra attention throughout the process of finding the right place. From start to finish, Mike was awesome! He went out of his way to ensure every detail was taken care of - from arranging inspections to researching potential issues with a property. He is well respected in the industry and demonstrated great skills in dealing with the listing agents to obtain "insight" and thoughtful feedback which proved very helpful in evaluating our choices. Throughout our journey, Mike demonstrated patience, professionalism, excellent negotiating and overall extremely caring. I didn't ever feel "pressured" to make a choice. We ended up with our dream unit and are so grateful to have had Mike as our agent! read more

We were extremely pleased to work with Mike. Both of us enjoyed working with Mike and felt his style of engagement was very warm and transparent. We were also pleased to know that our morning door person said she knows Mike and would highly recommend working with him to get the job done. Mike helped us through the process of selling our first home from staging and the negotiation process. He was quick to answer any of our questions. He knows the Gold Coast well and found us a buyer in 48 hours. We were very happy with the deal he was able to negotiate! read more

Mike Kravitz was extremely helpful in our condo sale on the Gold Coast. Mike helped with staging, posting, and feeling offers. Due to his expertise and strong sales background, our condo sold in 24 hours and we received over full price. Truthfully, we would not have sold our condo as quickly without Mike and his team at ReMax. I would highly suggest him for your home sale if you want the job done right and quickly. read more

My husband and I used Mike to purchase our first home together. We were tough customers since we both had very different wish lists of what we wanted in a home. Mike helped us prioritize to find the best match. He was very patient with us and even let us lowball a couple of "meh" places that we didn't really love (our idea), but could love for the right deal! We eventually ended up finding a place that we fell in love with. Unfortunately, there were four other offers! Mike gave us great advice on how to win, but never made any crazy promises. We felt like he was on our team the whole time and not just looking for a commission. We made an aggressive offer-- but one that we were still comfortable with-- and with Mike's guidance, wound up winning it! He also walked us through the stress-inducing loan process. When our lending bank started to change terms on us, he set us up with a mortgage broker who got us exactly the deal we wanted. This man has connections to the people who get stuff done! I'd recommend him to anyone. read more

Mike was very knowledgeable in helping us purchase our first home. He's a good guy, who is very patient with those like me that want to get to know every detail. I never felt rushed or pushed into buying something. It took us over a year, but my wife and I found the home we always wanted. Without Mike, I am not sure we would have ever found it. -CV read more

I have worked with Mike and his team for a number of years with respect to obtaining tenants for rental properties I own and he has always been helpful in finding good tenants for me. Mike is really good at assessing the rental market and vetting potential tenants. Florence is really responsive to my questions and keeps things moving along. Recently, I put one of the units on the market and, despite some bumps in the road, we were finally able to sell the unit at a reasonable price. I would definitely use Mike again for renting or selling my properties. read more

After becoming empty nesters, my husband and I decided to move from the suburbs back into the city. We were pretty set on the area where we wanted to live and location was our top priority. We had only a few deal breakers - had to have a garage, had to have some yard and needed to be close to Wrigley Field. Mike listened carefully and scheduled three houses to see on our first outing. We loved the first house and wanted to make an offer. Mike was very helpful with negotiating our deal and made several good suggestions regarding things to include in the contract and strategies for getting the sellers to make repairs and/or concessions. Mike is a low key, no pressure type person which we really appreciated. We had a completely hassle free experience and I highly recommend Mike and his staff to anyone looking for a satisfying home hunting effort. read more

I have had nothing but great experiences with Mike and his Assistant Florence. He actually meets with buyers face-to-face, which is such a lost art. He also has a very easy going personality. Mike and his assistant have been vital in helping us to rent our condo and subsequently sell it while we live in a different state. As a property manager Mike and his assistant Florence did an excellent job. They were able to maintain our renters needs independently and give us peace of mind that they would handle everything. After renting for 2 years, we decided to have Mike sell the condo. It seemed like a long process but he got the job done in the end. We had a very positive experience with Mike and would recommend him to any and all who need an educated, quality agent. read more

I worked with Mike to purchase my place a few years back and it was a no brainier to call him again when we were ready to sell. We had 30+ visits the week of listing and by the end of that week had multiple offers including above list price. Mike's knowledge of the market along with his team and partnerships he leverages to get the transaction done are second to none. Anytime I had a question and called or emailed Mike I had an answer either right away or within an hour at the latest. Nothing but great things to say and would HIGHLY recommend Mike! read more

Mike was great to work with. From the first time I sat down to talk to him about buying he was very up front about what my expectations should be. He got me in to see condos with very little notice. My dad came to town for one day to view all of the condos I was looking at and Mike was able to get us into all of them. I was impressed and very pleased! He's not pushy like some realtors can be and is willing to help you look until you find a place you love! When it came time to put an offer in he encouraged us to start lower than what we expected to start at. Overall, zero complaints. I'm glad I came across him online and used him to buy my first condo! read more

Mike Kravitz and his team provided truly exemplary service, from start to finish. Their assessment of our property's value was spot on. Our mother's condominium was listed and shown expeditiously once we were ready to sell it, and it sold as quickly as he told us to expect that it would, which was a matter of a few days. We got the price very close to what he told us to expect, and Mike and his team drove the transaction to close in record time...just a matter of a very few weeks from start to finish. Mike Kravitz, assisted by Florence De Pasquinelli, did an outstanding job. We recommend them highly, and would use them again in an instant! read more

Florence and Mike were a true pleasure to work with to find our apartment. I Highly recommend working with Florence.

I recently had the great misfortune of doing a business deal with the owner of this company that ended with me getting screwed out of several weeks worth of time and thousands of dollars. If you are a development firm (like us) or a serious investor then I strongly urge you to look for a more reputable partner to work with. Leo Clark is the broker in charge so avoid doing business with this guy if at all possible and remember the quote: "The apple doesn't fall far from the tree" so I cant say anything good or bad about anyone else there since my dealings were only with Leo Clark. read more

Mike has been my agent for several sales & he has over-delivered every time! I know my share of agents in Chicago & I think he's been the top agent in the Gold Coast for a long, long time. I just sold my home on 10/31 & Mike was my agent. There was not a part of the process that he didn't give me excellent guidance on. We started when we gave me a market analysis that was spot on. Based on this & some other factors that I had no idea about, he recommended that we set a price that was perfect for my situation - we had 5 showings in the first week! He handled the negotiations through a couple of tough situations & I was really pleased with how both issues turned out. His right-hand person - Florence - facilitated the paperwork quickly & was a joy to work with. Also, the attorney that he referred me to - Andrew - did an excellent job - he's also very experienced & very professional! read more

I was selling a home in Chicago and moved out of state before it sold. I engaged Mr Kravitz as real estate agent to handle the sale. He was knowledgeable about the neighborhood, and his knowledge was invaluable. He advised me on the realistic values of comparable buildings and was helpful in his guidance. He made sure that the building was well staged and maintained in keeping it always in showing condition. He was always available for my questions and always gave advice, passing on comments from prospective buyers/buyer agents. His advice made me very comfortable without my being present. He gave me immediate updates and weekly reports that guided me to a sale that was negotiated to get me the price that I was happy with. We talked frequently and there were always answers to my questions. At closing, he was exceptionally helpful, and there was no need for me to be present.. I have sold before and found his expertise and professionalism invaluable and the best of agents I have used in the past. I highly recommend him (and have) for anyone looking in Chicago. I would most certainly use him again either as a the agent for a seller or buyer. mjh read more

Mike helped us purchase our first home on the north side of Chicago. As an architect and musician couple, we had very defined needs and desires in a condo. Mike set up a full afternoon of condo searching for us including renting a limo to drive us to six different locations spread throughout the city. In the end, we had a very tough negotiation process and almost lost the unit a couple times. We did, however, close about two and a half months later and are incredibly happy with our find. read more

Mike was able to find a buyer for my condo within one week of putting it on the market. Even better, it was a cash offer.
