When you first think of it, isn't it awesome to go airsofting on a retired military base? Well,…read morethis is Fort Ord Airsoft Field and that's what you get! Located just north of Monterrey, it brings you airsoft action with scenarios that'll make you get on your feet every freakin' time. Produced by Roundhouse Productions, the field is open once a month and you should not miss it. PROS: - Great mix of Field and CQB play. AEGs are used to engaged outside, building-to-building and through outside. Pistols only inside. - Buildings have second floors. Happy sniping. - The strength of this field are the objective-based games. Briefing is very clear and objectives are attainable. Also, the games are very realistic. I'm not talking about capture the flag or rescue the VIP, I'm talking about planting bombs and holding your ground. - The field is wide enough to sneak up on the other team, Captain Price-style but not too wide to get lost at. - Players are mature and honest. Never had a problem of players not calling their hits. The guys I played with had tactics and stuff and that's why we won (against the Russians, 4/12/14) CONS: - Some unsafe stuff like hanging rusty nails, debris and unsteady floorboards. If you play airsoft, you definitely have to come here! Check them out at www.cqbchallenge.com

Round House Productions has been running their fields at Fort Ord for quite some time now and I'm…read moresurprised that no one has reviewed their field. Oh well maybe I'm the only one nerd enough to admit I play with a replica gun and shoot plastic BBs at other grown men. I've been playing Airsoft for the past 5 years and out of that time I've found that this is the Best place to play in the Bay. I've tried a couple of the other local fields but Fort Ord is the only one that has been consistently good. The scenarios Sean, Alex and crew come up with are always evolving. Props, objectives and people acting to fill roles within the given scenario give some serious realism and add a whole new dimension of fun to the games that are hosted. If you're new to the game this is a very good field to play at, the attitudes of the hosts also extends to the players on the field. The majority of players on the field are honest, work toward the given objectives, are experienced in navigating the field and may even offer you a burger if they've got their grills fired up and you happen to strike up conversation be it on the field or in the parking lot. Games are usually $30 for a day from 9:30AM to 4:30PM. Field FPS for an AEG is 400 Sealed goggles are REQUIRED for eye protection. (No exceptions) BBs must be BIO or you'll get the boot. Are available for $15 per bag of 4000rds. If you're interested in playing lemme know and maybe me and my buddies will roam the field with ya! : )

We've been to most of the parks in the greater Bay Area and yesterday was our first time here. All the parks have been a great experience for us. They each have something we like, there's woodsball up north, nice variety in the central valley, we've had fun at all of them. So when I say that this was our favorite place, it means something. First off, great prices and superb staff to help you out. Geared towards the first time player but not limited in the least bit to new players. The fields are excellent, COD fans will have a familiar field to play on! The players we encountered were all good friendly people, both other teens/young adults and adults were friendly to my sons and I and it was a nice mix of teams. Lastly. The pro-shop and management team, the owner/operator and his managers are there to make sure you are enjoying your visit. I spent some time talking with them and they are committed to making your experience a long lasting memory. You want to build those core memories with your family and friends? They are the guys to help you do that. The Park is not limited to paintball, there's other activities available even for the really young ones. We'll be going back again soon!

The team delivered exceptional service, and the space offered plenty of acreage for kids/teenagers to have fun, paintball was definitely a hit. All attendees indicated they would gladly return. The option to DoorDash food or bring our own made planning even easier. Totally recommended for teenagers birthday parties or just any celebration.

Here is their oh so professional response: Dear Chris, Cora was kind enough to give me the opportunity to chime in. I'd like to help flesh out this amazing idea you have. We will provide wildflower varieties of different colors. Envision this if you will........someone, for this purpose (brainstorming) lets go with a vivid Ginger (redhead) with blue eyes. We will need a colored flower that will not class with his or her hair or eye color.....I say eye in the singular because if well aimed....or perhaps by chance one of these projectiles punches through the cornea (we will keep our fingers crossed yes?) of said Ginger the ensuing germination (may take a few days) and ultimate flowering (more darn days),..our color choices can't clash with the beautiful sunlit hair and the amazing blue hues of "that blue eye" and let's not forget the maroonish, rusty hues of dried blood. So you dumb s*&^.....if your intelligence is any match for your level of out-of-the-box thinking these enhanced ideas should keep that simple f&^&%ing mind of yours busy..........at least until you or your amphibious cold blooded relatives find another stagnant pond to lay eggs and replicate in. I hope this helps you dumb f&^%! Signed, Curtis Vaughan.................curtisv@seeddynamics.com
