0/10 experience. Went in for a recall that was done for free, was pressured into getting my front brakes done. After I left a malfunction light came on immediately on my dash, I called and then went back the same day. They said the rainy weather was tripping up my sensor on the front of my car and to come back if I have further issues. Well, the malfunction light did not go off so I took it back in. NOW they are telling me that my sensor is bad, and to replace it it'll be 1300. I had zero prior issues to my sensor before I got my car worked on at their shop. The staff was very rude and intentionally seemed to gang up on me and man-splain everything with the intent to just make me go away. I don't know if it's because I have out of town plates or that I'm a woman, but either way they will DAMAGE your vehicle and then say they didn't. DO NOT GO HERE. read more

Absolutely useless. Made an appointment, specifically with the understanding I'd drop my truck in the morning and need the courtesy shuttle to drive me back to work. Was told "the shuttle driver doesn't get in until 7:30" so I confirmed I'd be there at 7:45. They weren't even open. Some all-hands meeting that had been planned and the dealership...including service department...wasn't even going to be open until 8:30. No signs, no indication that they weren't open. In fact, all of the building was accessible but no staff except for the cleaning crew that couldn't speak English. On October 24th, my Nissan Frontier started to act really strange, so I dropped it off at the dealership. Before the service adviser even looked at it, they tried to blame me and explain why it wouldn't be covered by my warranty. I went home, terrified, that I'd be stuck with an auto loan on a 10-month-old truck that didn't even run. A few days later, I got a call that there was an electrical issue and that they planned to replace the EMC. Unfortunately, that didn't seem to fix the problem. I was told they planned to contact corporate/engineers for further guidance. I was assured, at that time, that whatever the issue was, it would be covered by my warranty. That was over 2 weeks ago. Since then, I've gotten absolutely 0 information, when I try to call I'm told they are busy and that they'll call me back. They have completely ghosted me. They've had my truck for 24 days now. I was ripped off back in April. I agree that they take advantage of out of towners. My check engine light came on on my drive to Florida. I took it here as it was across the street from my hotel and I was boarding a ship that afternoon. I was the first person to arrive before they opened. I waited for over 5 hours for them to change one ignition coil on my 2017 Altima SL. In short I was charged over $1000 along with unauthorized charges for cleaning a battery terminal. Btw, I have a four cylinder and the coils aren't hard to get to. I am a service coordinator. I had one of the technicians from work install the other 3 coils in under an hour for $40. I bought 6 coils from the auto parts store for under $100. My boss who's our branch and service manager agreed that I was ripped off. read more

Read the letter we received from Nissan Finance - very hard to believe the finance guy or salesman doesn't know the Nissan Finance policy. It's been almost a week since I drove off the lot with my new Nissan! Full disclosure I originally went to the Honda dealership up the road first to see what they were willing to do on my trade especially since I bought my car from them. Honda wanted to play games so I left. They actually called me as I was pulling into Mike Erdman to make a deal. I told them I would call them back. James Flynn, my sales guy came out and greeted us. I explained my experience at the previous dealer and told him we basically don't have time for games and this is what I'm looking for. I've always wanted a Nissan Maxima and for years I drove Nissans until 2 years ago when I purchased an Accord. He said let's hop on the golf cart and I'll show you what we have. He showed me their inventory and I was happy with the choices. I decided on a car and we went inside to discuss the deal. Everyone from the sales manager and finance manager were awesome! They did an appraisal on my trade and came back with an awesome deal and gave me different down payment options and monthly payments. All were acceptable. There was no bait and switch with my financing. Everything we discussed about rate was what it was. My previous auto financing at the Honda dealer went wrong after I had the car for 2 weeks and they called to tell me my interest rate was 2% higher and I needed to sign new papers. I would not recommend this dealership for service, especially if you are from out of town! I am writing this review as I have a serious concern after recently (April 2024) taking my Nissan Pathfinder to Mike Erdman for a check engine light that was on. I went to the dealership as I thought I would get better (more honest) service and I needed to get this fixed as I was going to be driving back to Michigan from Florida at the beginning of May. After checking the light, they provided me with an estimate to fix the issue with the check engine light. The also included several other items that were needed now, the estimate for these items was about $1,300.00 - Bank 1 O2 sensor (required to resolve check engine light) - Oil change and filter (close to needing) - Belt replacement (showed cracks) - Fuel injection service (required to with the O2 sensor/check engine light) I agreed to the above items, but questioned the items below as I knew that I had recently replaced the rear and front brakes (and according to my records they had less than 10k miles on them) and asked if they were sure about this. I also told them I reviewed my maintenance records confirming this and said that I would like to have my shop at home check them as they are still under warranty - they replied with 'well, that's up to you, but they look bad and you should replace them'. When I asked about the shocks, they said they were leaking oil/fluid and they 'looked bad'. I opted not to do the following and am glad I made that decision. After fixing the check engine issues, they again put in the invoice that they recommended replacing the brakes and shocks. In addition, they included several other items that they said needed to be fixed since I was driving a long distance home, they recommended I do all of these before heading back to Michigan. The estimate was for these items nearly $1,900.00 - Fuel induction - Rear Shocks - replace and mounts/bushings - Replace front brake pads and rotors - Replace rear pads and machine rotors When I returned to Michigan, I went to the shops that replaced the front and rear brakes (there were 2 different shops), both shops brought me back and showed me the brake pads and said they were 'almost new' and did not need to be replaced. They also took pictures of the brakes/rotors as well as put in writing that they did not need replacing and stated that the rear brake pads have 6mm remaining and the front has 8mm remaining. In addition, both shops also checked the shocks and said there was no indication that the shocks were bad, nor was there any sign of them leaking at all. This is very concerning that a Nissan Dealership would try to pressure me to replace brakes and shocks and 2 other shops provided me with evidence (in writing with photos) that this was not needed. After this experience, I will not use this dealership in the future as I don't feel that I can trust them. I also left a message for the General Manager at the Nissan Dealership as I wanted to discuss this with him prior to posting this review. He has not returned my call as of this posting. read more

The most stubborn service department anywhere. I mean these people do it all, from helping the community to fighting for all social problems there exist, except for fixing cars properly. They instead prefer to fight you over your vehicles warranty. You walk in for a legitimate problem and walk out with more problem, including the original problem. read more

Even if you just wanna come take a look at one of their vehicles and test drive , Our sales person Zack was really friendly very nice Gentleman we looked around for a truck. We wanted A 4X4 and he was able to get it done. He found one for us and was able to get us approved and out of there within 45 minutes!! we own 3 Nissans. While I had a great car buying experience at Mike Erdman, my first trip for my new cars first oil change was terribly disappointing. I've been waiting 2 hours and 45 minutes, and they still haven't gotten my car back to me. And this was with an appointment so they knew I was coming in. Why give out appointments if you're making people wait that long? Makes me wonder if they just don't know how to manage anything in the service department. Seriously, It doesn't take that long to change oil, or rotate tires. And it doesn't take a genius to schedule appointments at various times so people don't have to wait .. especially when you know ahead of time what they are coming in for! I regret getting the service package as now I'm stuck getting my maintenance done here. I can't possibly recommend you have your car serviced here... and if you're buying a new car- do not get the service package... just go to an oil change place or do it yourself. read more

Charge $260 just to give estimate that you lose unless you agree to the repair. Called my shop in Virginia and repair is $580. Beware of their pricing and ask questions before you sign anything. Bought a new timing belt thinking that was the problem, found out we weren't able to fix it ourselves so called Mike Erdman, paid to have it towed in and hopefully get it running. We were told it could cost up to $4500 to have it repaired. We were then told it would cost over $8500 to replace the motor. We decided to call it a loss. Mike Erdman then charged us $483.50 just to tell us the motor needed replaced. They didn't even take it into the bay to diagnose it. The price of gas, combined with 165K+ miles finally forced me to give up my 2004 GMC Yukon XL1500 Denali :-( so I headed down to Mike Erdman to look at a couple of used cars. Not the best time to buy, but Eddie showed me two cars in my price range - a 2016 Nissan Murano and a 2015 Mazda CX-15, both with less than 100K miles. I looked into the Nissan but there were some complaints about the CV trans so I bought the Mazda. Called Nissan. Representative Andrew hang out on me after the question how can I get home after the road service picks up my car . I pay more then 800 $ per month . We were looking for a new Nissan in Titusville Florida when I decided to call Mike Erdman Nissan in Cocoa. I talked to Jessica and told her I was looking at a Nissan Versa and she told me that for the out the door cost of a Versa in Titusville she could get me into a new Sentra with her. I stopped the deal in Titusville and told her I was on the way. When I arrived at Mike Erdman we were met by Kristian. He said Jessica was busy but he would help us. We drove around and found the Sentra we wanted. After about 2 hours of looking around and paper work he came back with a price of over $2 thousand more. When we explained what Jessica told us they basically said they could not make the deal we were promised. I felt lied to by Jessica and this is after we have bought from them a couple of years ago. So I brought my 2015 Sentra (around 28,000 miles) in for service on a Saturday because there was a battery issue, AC was not getting cold and the drivers side door handle on the outside was popping off. Received a call Monday morning and was told the battery was dead and under warranty (Replaced), AC was fixed after an o-ring was replaced (Fixed and charged. Still not cooling like before), and Door handle fixed (Replaced). They then informed me that my breaks needed to be replaced and rotors turned (I found this to be weird seeing I was there 2 weeks prior getting my tire fixed and all was ok). Anyway I was quoted a little over $600.00 for front and back breaks. Told him the cost was too high and I would take it to my mechanic who I have known for 8+ years. Here is where it gets interesting. I dropped off my car to have the breaks done with my mechanic and after an hour he called and told me my breaks were fine and that the front had 50% pad left and the back had 40% pad left. That I had a couple of years left before they needed to be replaced. I was very upset by this news and feel as if Mike Erdman service is trying to deceive there customers into spending money to replace parts not needing to be replaced. I can imagine the number of peopled who have been scared by the techs and payed money they did not need to spend. I am considering reaching out to the newspaper, tv, BBB, or anyone who will help in this matter to prevent this from happening to anyone else. read more

On 03/29/2022 @ 2:30pm I called the Mike Erdman Service and told the young lady at the Service, that my air condition on my 2017 Nissan Altima is only reducing the air temperature from 85F to about 60F and how much would it cost to check if coolant is missing. She put me on hold and then told me it would cost $178.00 without refilling. Im giving a 3 because of my most recent visit today. I had a customer service guy for thw last 4 years and everything was fine. He left the company, now I have an advisor that tries to sell me things I dont need. I am a three Nissan family. This is our 14th Nissan and the 4th from Mike Erdman. This new advisor did this to my wife and just did it to me today. I went in for an oil change (37k miles) and was notified that if I didnt flush my transmission/both diffs/brake lines, my 100k warrenty is void. HA! I asked for an oil change. So give me an oil change, not a high pressure sales pitch on shit I dont need. I confronted this person about hard requirements and there arent any. If this happens again, I will not return and neither will my family. Service after the sale should not be stressful and should not include pressure tactics for things you dont need. He says, "you have a chrome cage on the front of your truck, we don't do work on after market part's" I never asked him to work on the chrome cage!! I had a horn I needed to be put back together. To say the the service department is incompetent and shade would give them to much credit. Spent $3500 having transmission clutch work done on my 370z. i also left the vehicle there with a long list of issues of which none were ever acknowledged with correctice actions. After a couple months i took the car back as the trasmission was making terrible noises. The wonderful service team at Mikes told me now i needed to replace the transmission because the 4th gear synceo was bad. Ummmm NO! thats the best gear in the car. less than a year later i take the same car to nissan of melbourne and pay $230 for a diagnostic saying the clutch is trash and the transmission is fine. take the car back to mikes 2 days after. they say that even though my invoice states service warranty is 12 month unlimited miles, they use the fine print on the shop work order that states 12k miles. then they wanted me to pay another $250 diagnostic fee because what nissan of melbourne entered into the computer system which are all linked was not good enough for them. thanks Erdman! that was my first and LAST nissan. i dont know how they even stay in business. sales team is very friendly BUT THE ENTIRE SERVICE DEPARTMENT SHOULD BE TAKEN OUT BACK AND HAVE SOME SENSE BEAT INTO THEM. I am penning this note as my wife is upset beyond words at Erdman's. My wife purchased a new 2012 Nissan Altima Coupe. 6 years after, the car has a little over 20,000 miles on it, is garaged, and regularly maintained at Erdman's. A few months back the paint started to "bubble". Yes, the car is out of warranty - time wise (but not on mileage). However, after "go-arounds" between Nissan corporate and Erdman's, nothing is being done to fix the issue. She was informed that the issue looks as though it stems from a poor paint preparation at the "factory". Assuming this to be fact, it would seem reasonable that Nissan, or especially Erdman's, would offer to share in the cost of repainting the car. But, after months of dealing with the issue, the "bottom line" is "too bad" - or "let the buyer beware". And, this is not the first instance of Erdman's not being responsive - without significant hassle - in resolving issues with this Altima. Had Erdman's made some effort to help here, they would have 2 people who would highly recommend the dealership. After all, things go wrong sometimes; a good dealership stands behind what they sell. As it is, with no action on Erdman's part, they now have 2 people offering to any and all who ask that Erdman's is of unacceptable reputation - customer service wise. read more

I live in cocoa beach so wanted to give this local dealership my business when buying my new Tundra. I tried. I tried hard. First off, although Toyota of Melbourne, Orlando, and just about every other dealership out there will give you their best price over the phone, these guys told me I would have to come in. Well, sorry. Why would I even bother wasting my time? I finally gave them one more chance to earn my business, and told them I needed their best price via email or phone. Finally they relented and told me they would give me $7k off a new Tundra. I didn't ask for this - they offered it. I go in, with the understanding that I would get 7k off. My sales guy told me, if you buy today, we will do it. OK. I sign the papers a couple of times saying I will. He takes it to the manager a few times, then comes back and told me they made a mistake and can give me 6k off, not 7k. Various managers come over and apologize etc but will not stick to the deal, unless I buy GAP insurance and an extended warranty. I ask how much this costs - $2k is the reply. These people play serious games and are to be avoided at all costs. They are not at all straightforward and come off as very slimy. I feel sorry for my salesman. The managers there all seem like complete douchebags. Very unsophisticated rednecks. Dishonest and unreliable. I wouldn't trust a thing coming out of their mouthes. read more

Wow some of the reviews are really bad. I have been a couple of times for service on my Nissan Murano (oil change) and window issue. Also a recall issue. The staff seem very nice and so far the service is good. After the recall service the techs did not reconnect the part they took off so I had to reconnect it myself. The collision center at this dealership has to be one of the worst body shops I have ever dealt with. I had some front end body work done on my truck almost a year ago and I'm still finding missing nuts, bolts and screws that were never put on when the new parts were installed. When I picked up my truck, the gravel guards fell off because their technician neglected to properly install them. When I lifted the hood after picking up the vehicle there were screws, washers and other parts laying loosely inside the engine compartment (probably the parts that they neglected to install). I would highly recommend NOT using this shop for any body work on any vehicle. read more
