This is usually the brutal part of car buying...pressure to add extras, terms that are threatening, and other issues that leave you intimidated. Not so with Michael and Lexus of Melbourne. The process was fast, pleasant, and easy...no queasy feelings as paperwork explained and signed. I have been returning frequently to take advantage of their complimentary car washes, and this week, returned to have Chris, another sales guy, sit with me in the car, to once again explain the technology (that had already been explained by Keith in great detail). We were never pressured! I normally HATE buying a car due to past experiences but this was very different. Keith helped us get the most for our trade in and get a payment we were comfortable with. When a deal was set we had to work with Jamie with finance. This is also not normally fun BUT he was just as nice and very helpful. He gave us options but never pressured us! A miracle!!! At one point it had an intermittent starting problem that took over 11 months to fix. It was 3 years old and about 8,000 miles on it. They replaced everything from the battery to the starter including the computer and several wire harnesses. They finally replaced the main wire harness but put in the wrong one so my satellite radio had no power. They had to tear it down again and put in the CORRECT wire harness which provided power to my satellite radio. In my opinion, Motorcraft car batteries are junk and only last a little over 2 years if you are LUCKY.

I've been in contact with both Andrew & Chris by email and scheduled an appt AT 8am on a Sat morning. This was my first time here, so when I arrived and parked the Rover near the service counter entrance, Chris was waiting for me, with all of my paperwork ready to go. We sat down and went over my concerns and and that I needed a multipoint inspection completed. Then he gave me a tour of the waiting area. Chris was there to answer my questions and to make sure I was ok during my wait there. The waiting area had Starbucks coffee, snacks, fruit , and other goodies. A few of the other staff members greeted me while I was there..Thus far it was a great experience. I will be bring the vehicle back soon for a more thorough check up.
