I was interested in a car so my mom and dad were previous Mike Duman customers and said we are going to see Mr. Mervis Knight he'll help you get a car this was Saturday December 1, 2018. Upon arriving at the lot there was a wide variety of cars, I was so excited I couldn't believe my eyes with the inventory on this lot and reasonable prices. So when we looked up who was coming out Mr. Knight I was still in shock so I told him I was interested in the 2012 Camaro SS. I test drove the car and fell in love with it. I had been driving around in a 1998 Ford Taurus for some time and decided it was time to get an upgrade. I went into Mike Duman to look around and see what was on the lot. (By the way, there is a lot of vehicles to choose from, and looking only on the website doesn't do it justice). I knew I wanted a SUV, but I didn't want a big one, so while walking around the lot, I saw a Mitsubishi Outlander Sport. Bottom Line up front: I would deal with Mike Duman for another vehicle. Car purchased: used 2012, low mileage, to be used as a daily commuter. Salesperson: Mervis Knight Car shopping isn't necessarily fun, but my experience with Mike Duman made the process as good as it can be. At no time did I feel any pressure. When Mr. Knight and I sat down to go over the numbers, and then with Aaron Duman, I told them that I needed to run the numbers by my wife and look closely at our budget. They understood and did not pressure me to make the deal at that moment. Any negatives I have are relatively minor: - no full tank of gas - no second key: now, they are paying for a second key, but the process rests on me to contact the key man and have him come to me, which is proving to be a bit more of a headache than I thought. I told the salesman what I wanted, and of course they tell you for a few dollars more....I had none of that; they were respectful of my purchasing principles; if a place is not, I thank them for their time and move on. This was a good used car buying experience. The Sales Representative Mervis Knight was very professional and friendly. He was able to find us the perfect truck within our budget. A minor repair gad to be made but we set up a appointment and it was quickly resolved. The only issue I had was trying to reach the service department. When you call the answering service continues to come on. When you leave a message your call is not returned. I finally got a human voice after attempting for 3 days. However they were really nice in the service department when services were performed. I did bring this issue to their attention as well. I was told it may have been connecting to the Franklin office instead of Suffolk. I'm not sure how possible that is but I was overall pleased at the end. read more

Purchased my second vehicle from Jason at Mike Duman's. Great experience as usual, went with a list of certain vehicles that I wanted to look at. He showed them all to me and told me all the good and bad features as my needs in a vehicle were changing. Ended up with a 2015 GMC Terrain, fully loaded and completely love it.
