Was quoted $295 over the phone for tree branch waste to fill a 15 Cubic Yard trailer by two different representatives on two different calls. They also told me over the phone that they would pack down the truck to maximize our value. But when the trailer arrived the employee told me it was $395 for the trailer, and they made very little effort to pack down our tree branches, necessitating a second load, which we gladly refused due to the questionable price swap. While they were easy to reserve, I would suggest you try elsewhere first due to their iffy pricing. read more

Amazing company! I called the Salem number for service out in at my in-laws in Silverton on a Sunday afternoon and spoke with Stacey who was an absolute joy to work with. I told her I needed bags of trash/recycle to be removed asap! She said she had availability as early as I needed the next morning! Life saver! ;) She was even kind enough to wait for my 8pm call (lost track of time while cleaning) to confirm a 9am pick up time. She explained how it works: Arrive at the location Inspect how much trash needs to be removed Call back to give a quote I can either accept or pass I thought that was incredible, they take the time to travel out and you can still deny their services if the cost doesn't accommodate you. She quoted me a "truck load" which is $225 for all the bags/misc items which I felt was very reasonable. Arrived at 9am called me back at 9:30am and took my card number over the phone! Can't get much easier than that ;) I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for people who truly care, great customer service, arrives promptly at the apt time, and does the job right the first time! The guys just left my house. They are hard working, conscientious and FAST. They were on time, even a little early but only after clearing it with me beforehand via phone. They cut up our unused hot tub, removed a bunch of old patio furniture and old toys, etc. Just lots of junk. They then swept and shoveled up the remaining stuff and we're done. Tried to get ahold of someone here several times to get a quote and discuss scheduling service. Contacted via their website and via phone, left a voicemail. Upon finally connecting with someone when I called back again (for the third time), the man who answered was incredibly rude and talked down to me like it was my fault they hadn't gotten back to me. I'm not gonna chase your service; there are lots of competitors in the area. Within 10 minutes, I had service scheduled with a competitor of theirs in the area who treated me with respect and consideration. I saw their trucks pull up on my street and I ran outside to see if they would be willing to take a non-working mini freezer that I had on my porch, meaning to get rid of. These guys were TOP NOTCH. EXCELLENT service, EASY to deal with. Details: We have a farm near Sandy and there is a LOT of old stuff just sitting around. We ordered a large dump-truck. We called on a Friday and reserved the truck for the following Wednesday. They showed up when they said they would, and there were three guys there who were READY TO LISTEN to what we needed. They then proceeded to EFFICIENTLY and PROFESSIONALLY haul our old crap away and toss it into the truck. They were so great we decided to use them again in two days from now to (hopefully) haul all the rest of our stuff away. One truck wasn't nearly enough (we have a lot of crap), so they've got two trucks and six guys coming on Friday. TWO DAY Notice! We were afraid (and even maybe ashamed) at how much trash and useless garbage we had lying around, but these professionals simply didn't bat an eye, and said it was far from the worst they had ever dealt with. I contacted Mike & Dad's Hauling a couple of weeks ago after doing some research to find the best way to get rid of stuff from my grandparents' house. They had amazing reviews and were able to take everything we needed to get rid of including food, garbage, & appliances. They were the only place I found who would take everything without us having to separate things. We just made a huge pile of stuff outside and they came into the house to haul out the appliances & large items. Everyone I talked to was very polite and so helpful. They did an incredible job! I have not used them for hauling, but I watched one of their trucks this morning almost run someone off a freeway ramp on purpose. A car was signaling to merge and the truck intentionally kept speeding up to block its lane change. The car was being polite and signaling but the truck wouldn't yield. It just kept gassing it so the car couldn't merge in front of it. The car had to come to a stop before almost hitting a barricade then try and get back into traffic. If there was someone to report this kind of thing too I would. Very rude and dangerous. You need to be careful what you do when your name is on the side of your truck. read more

I am really happy with the job that Mike and Dad's Hauling did. I called around noon today, and they were at my house by 2. I had a big mess, a large driveway full of yard debris. They filled about four truckloads. They are incredibly fast and thorough and even swept my driveway after they were done. My driveway looks perfect. I wish it wasn't quite so expensive, because I paid $445 for two guys for about three hours' worth of work. But! I would have spent at least two days hauling it by myself, and at least $150 renting a truck. So, it was totally worth it. read more

Very reasonable rates to remove a cyclone fence, plus an old chicken coop from our yard. They were here when they said they'd be, they were clean, and lightning fast. Plus they stuck to their estimate. At the last moment we asked to have them take an old television- not a problem. They carefully detached the wires and didn't disturb a thing (and it was big heavy old one; now it's gone- Yay!). They were also very friendly- definitely consider them if you need a fence taken out or more. We're keeping their business cards handy, and we'll use them again in a flash! read more

We hired their service based on good reviews. Sadly, we found the workers to rush quickly through the job, not do the work they promised to do, leaving broken glass, pieces of roof, nails and concrete, wood, plastic and other debris from the shed tear down. They even left a saw bi behind! Leaving these items of glass and a saw is, dangerous ~not cleaning the site after the shed tear down is no completing the job ~ and it could hurt someone, especially children and/or pets I felt they were working quickly, without care, rushing the job so it was sloppy. The shed was only 13 by 15, so they could have removed the windows and NOT broken the glass, leaving glass all over our lawn. I walked back to see their work when they said they were done and when I realized it was not done well, they had left broken glass and other debris, I asked them to clean up the glass and debris before they left and they said they would. I thought they had done this clean up and I I foolishly paid them with a generous tip! I only realized after they were starting to leave, when I found their saw bit that they still had left behind, that they had not cleaned up as promised! No integrity. After they left we found a lot of glass and debris left behind and I was so sad and angry to have paid so much money for a job done so poorly. I would give your company a 0 star rating if I could. Please ,if you care about customers as you say you do, I would like the owner to respond so that I can connect directly and tell you about my experience of your company today. I also would like a full refund for the tip I gave these workers. They definitely do not deserve a tip. They should in fact come back out and clean up the mess they left. read more

I hired Mike and Dad's hauling to take away about 2 cubic yards of dirt, gravel, scrap wood, old garbage cans and other misc yard debris. It took 3 guys about 25 minutes to haul it all away, leveling the area and sweeping up all the little debris with rakes. It was a tightly confined area and they were super careful not to damage my fence, water hose or adjacent garden plants. They charged exactly as quoted, which was a very reasonable price. They communicated really well with pricing and appointment times and were right on time when they came out. Billy and the guy helping him were so friendly and cheerful. We had a broken love seat pull out bed that needed to be removed quickly before the new one was delivered. These pullout beds are awkward and heavy. We couldn't move it ourselves. I called professional movers and no one would do it - most didn't even call me back. Apparently, the job wasn't big enough.
