I went to Pine Hall Brick to choose a size and style, and I was not disapppointed. The customer showroom staff were terrific. They were helpful and knowledgeable and they were also patient, which is necessary when it comes to choosing something as permanent as your fireplace and hearth brick. Helpful sample boards give you the bigger picture of what the finished look will be and they let me come home with a selection of the choices that I'd narrowed it down to. The delivery of brick was prompt and on-time, as scheduled. The palates of brick were in good shape and were placed exactly where we needed them to be. While I was not the one who ultimately inspected or used them after delivery, I understand that the bricks were well-made, well-chosen, and well-stacked, which means hardly any were chipped or broken or compromised. Two-and-a-half years later, I'm still pleased with what I got. My general contractor used these same brick to build the steps for the two exterior entrances into this expanded addition, and it has held up great and looks good.

At first I was pleased with my fence from Fence Builders Ince, but over time I have become a bit…read moredisappointed with the quality. When I had the fence put in, they offered a good price and talked a good game, but in retrospect I should have stood my ground with the spacing of the posts. The sales man told me they would space the posts up to 10' feet apart, and based on the length of each side would divide it and space them evenly. Other fence people told me they would space the spots at most 6' apart and I think this would have helped prevent issues we had later on. As time went on, a number of the horizontal rails became to twist and distorted, separating from the vertical posts, to the point where reinforcing screws weren't holding and I had to clamp the horizontal post to the vertical posts at one point so entire sections of fence would not fall and allow my dog to escape. The most disappointing part was when I reached out to the company for help repairing these sections, the sales man that sold me the fence said it wasn't worth their time. They wouldn't even come quote it. I was able to repair the fence myself, but after the poor customer service, I'm sure I will not be recommending or ever using this company in the future
