Worst place to go. Took my car in they said 35 for smog check and certification once I get there they say my car failed due to sensor and it was 40 not 35. I told the guy I was told 35 out the door they even have a a sign stating 35 and advertise it as 35 he says nope. I brought my truck to this place several weeks ago for a smog check. Normally I bring all my vehicles to a place that I used to do but he was on a vacation and closed his shop. So I found this Miguel and thought it's just a quick smog check and done. I didn't realize that what happened afterward... When I pull my truck over, I told him that I just came back from long vacation and my battery dead so I just swap out a new battery. He then got the check engine meter to check on my truck and then had another guy crawling under my truck. I then asked him: "what are you doing" and he replied back that nè need to check my catalyst converters. To cut it short, he told me that the O2 sensor was blinking because I just swapped out the battery so he couldn't perform smog test. He also told me that my catalytic converters were "withdrawn" and I have no clue what that means. I told him that I owned this truck for over 10 years and never heard of withdrawn catalyst converters. I admit that if the test is failed because of that then I have to replace it. But in this case, he didn't perform the test at all. Then I paid him $50 and thinking I would take to someone else to check it. I went ti another place that recommended by people in town and found out Miguel put bad catalyst converters in my DMV record. I called him back and asked him "Why he did that to me" and he lied that he performed the test and it failed when he actually told me the O2 sensor was blinking and could not perform the test. To summary, this scumbag charged me money on pre-check and slap in a bad record on my DMV without performing the smog check. PEOPLE IN TOWN TO AVOID GOING TO THIS PLACE AT ALL COST!!!! Please do not go here. This place has the worst service and they lie to take your money. We were told prior to arriving smog check is 35 bucks once we get there they check my husbands car and they say it fails due to a sensor and it's 40 dollars. We were like you guys told us 35 out the door and it states that price on their app online along with being on a price board in the shop. The gentleman says I'm not in control of the app or what the prices state if you have a problem call the state. I wish we would had not gone here. Most honest mechanic i have ever gone too. And the price is very reasonable. Very guck turn around to getting us our car back. They are not the type of place that just wants money so they find tons of trouble. In fact the problem that our car had Miguel told us to check with the dealer because it most likely under warranty. horrible shop, don't ever take your vehicle there. I took my car there to get smog, for some reason it didn't want to pass because of a sensor. So he tried to illegally smog it and got my car red flagged. Now I'm stuck going to a referee among numerous other obstacles.
