As an added bonus, Sunfrost F. has an attached café where you can order a sandwich, smoothie and other light bites. Once you're inside, Sunfrost is a treasure trove. Heck, I even found a papaya and mangoes which I bought one of each! The shelves are well-stocked and to make matters even better, depending on the prepared sides, salads, etc- are made with some of the vegetables that are grown and sold here. Actually, if you live here you are probably cursing me right now in hippie speak because you have been coming here for 20 years.* Actually, if you live here, you probably aren't looking up your favorite farmer's market on Yelp so I'll just have at it. In 12-15 vendors or so you will find everything that you need to eat healthy and well. From meat to vegetables to fruit to other more savory items (pie, honey), you can easily do your shopping for the week sans beverages. It's an extremely friendly and community oriented atmosphere, accepting of anyone who wants to partake in the festivities. As a side to the market on Maple St., there is a flea market area where there are also food vendors, tents and picnic tables to enjoy your food and some live music. If you are lucky, you will even get to witness some dancing that has probably been going on here since the actual Woodstock. Get a couple tacos from Black Eyed Suzies and do yourself a big favor and get some pretzel bread from that nice lady with the pretzel stand. If you really want to treat yourself, get a chocolate filled pretzel croissant. Actually, get three and send me one...or all three. Just another example of the fine things one can get themselves into through reading Lydia L's reviews! Because this was a fine market to visit on a fine October day. Although we've consumed lots (LOTS) of wine, we've never tried mead and with Lydia's review to back us up, we tried some and bought some too. (Which would be enjoyed later on in the day with cheese from Dancing Ewe and seckel pears from Migliorelli's, both of the Rhinebeck Market.) Don't pass up the chewy, delightful pretzel rolls! We bought several to give to our friends in NJ and they were a BIG hit. (Seasonal cranberry / apple and also sea salt. Also found at the New Paltz market.) There were fewer farmers at this market on this October Sunday but the produce vendors there had top quality items. And the friendly woman at the info booth at the end of the market was offering samples of home baked apple crisp as well as tastings of local applies. The property is huge and there's so much open space, so it was nice to just wander around and enjoy the scenery. We also got some cider and popcorn and of course had to get the apple cider donuts. We grabbed a chocolate chip cookie from the pie truck too and that was really good. I love that they have different food and dessert pop-ups throughout the season, so there's always something else to try. The staff we interacted with were really nice and everything was easy. We went early this year so they only had 3 different types of apples available for picking. We picked honey crisp, gala and Jonah Mac. They had a beautiful sunflower farm. The property is so pretty and I loved how they had a fire pit with the Adirondack chairs around it. There was a tap room which had all different types of beverages and ciders. Couple of food trucks and their donuts were delicious! Highly recommend checking out this farm.

Street parking is available. We went on the last day of the season so glad we got to see it before 2026!
