So we pulled up and I'm guessing it was a new guy because one of his co workers was showing him how to spray the car which I understand. The spinning washers on the inside didn't work well at all and barely got the bird poo off the car. The car was still wet and covered in soap and when we got to the blow dryers on the way out they didn't do hardly anything. We payed five extra dollars for a hand dry and the two workers didn't even dry the car off enough. If you want a carwash, I would suggest you go to a different one than this one. read more

I then had the pleasure of being belittled and blamed by an 18 year old "Manager" named Lucas who cannot write, but seems to understand liabilities. This afternoon I went to Mighty wash on Big Spring street and I'm not sure which one was better... The wash or the employees! I was very kindly serviced by the Manager Shantagua who was very helpful and the staff just made my wash amazing, especially with the hand dry and tire shine service. Definitely recommend and will for sure be back soon! read more

They don't guide your car resulting in cars going off the rails. My car was hit by the car in front of me because of this. It's a scary thing to have happen INSIDE the car wash. The soap wasn't rinsed off but was instead just smeared onto my windshield. The manager said I could run it through again but I refuse to go back. Went yesterday to have my SUV washed. Bought the top Carwash, $25. Tipped the guys on both entering and exiting the wash bay! I don't know why I did! The actual wash of the vehicle is good, drying is a different story the employees either aren't trained or don't care to try and not streak up every window on the vehicle. Today as I was approaching the dryers one guy was staring at his phone and when he finally started drying he was gesturing me to give him a tip which I'm glad to do when they're working hard! I really liked this car wash bc the workers are friendly. However, this place has trashed my hood and right from quarter panel. I am positive that this happened at mighty wash. I am the person that parks OUT everywhere I go. I park in the farthest reaches of any parking area, back in, and do a walk around inspection of my car daily. The first gash I couldn't say for certain was from mighty wash, but one week later with additional damage to my vehicle and I can say with certainty that this is from this place. There's no good car washes in Midland. But this place gets the award for the worst. I'm tired of paying for tire shine, it never applies it. For a place that can't properly rinse a car off it's absurd they charge $5 extra to dry it. If it wasn't for dust and dirt I'd say this place leaves your ride looking worse with all the left over soap and streaks. Not worth $18, this place is. $10 wash tops. I wish osha would visit them. They have multiple electrical violations you can spot with the naked eye. They include light switches with broken plate covers, no in use covers or broken ones. The list goes on. I'm done spending money and this business. The ownership clearly does not care about the finished product or their people. read more

Ok, for my friends in Midland, TX...I usually get my truck washed at the SoftSuds carwash on Wadley and Midland Drive. Today I decided to try something different and go to "Mighty Wash" on the Loop 250 frontage road near Academy. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE THERE. Before taking my truck in I power rinsed it with my own powerwasher at home to get most of the dirt on it off. Mighty Wash's wash was the worst wash I've had in Midland. It was $22.00 and they didn't even dry it for me. The automatic dryers were WEAK and left my truck covered with water. If I'd wanted a complete hand dry it would've been another $5 making it $27 for a wash and wax that didn't even get off all the road film. I'll be going back to SoftSuds where for $19.00 I get a completely clean vehicle with 2 people hand drying it for me after exiting. I repeat: DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO MIGHTY WASH! read more

Everytime I go in to get my vehicle washed it is always half assed washed. I pay for the mighty wash, hand dry, and tire and wheel service but never seem to get what I pay for. Wheels always comes out looking worse than what it did before I went in. Sometimes I have to clean them myself because no one wants to do the service just because I've previously worked there... Drove up, accessibility was great= 1 star. Self-serve machine navigation was straight to the point + simple= 1 star. Time wise, quite quick= 1 star. In terms of car wash, this place was sub par. I've been to similar carwash set ups here in west Texas with better end results priced cheaper, then again here you're paying for location. Concept wise= 1 star. I think this set-up is great so today I decided to try their lube center figuring I'd go eat next door at The Smiling Moose. Drove up, no line- score! Then womp, womp, womp those plans are cut short. The cute girl taking my information down is not only on the condescending side but lacked all around in customer service= -1 star. Ultimately, I'll exercise my rights + options and go elsewhere. Seems to me based on previous reviews from others dating back to 2015 they're not to concerned to remedy their ways, don't seem to need business apparently= -1 star. I use this car wash about once a week, but the last month or so the service has gone down hill. The vacuums have absolutely no suction. I have asked the workers and they will come try to clean the tubes, but usually just end up taking that tube out of service. I waited more than 5 minutes while the attendant visited with the person in the car next to me for a hand dry. By the time they approached my car to hand dry the water had already dried partially and left streaks. When I brought it to the attendants attention he ran his rag over it and gave me a thumbs up. I am here right now getting my car washed. I paid to have the interior cleaned too. I went inside to sit in the air conditioning because we're in Texas and when I came out they had my stereo blasting music and they were taking their sweet time. Absolutely horrible! Didn't clean window shield or bugs off front of car so I went inside and they told me to run back through. I got to the gate and kept typing in the code they gave me, it didn't work so I pressed the help button. After waiting 5 min for someone to help me the screen said to call their main office and someone would help you! I had to yell at someone to come open the gate since I couldn't back out or get out of my car. Ran my car through again and the window shield, was still dirty! Never again. PS... while I was inside asking to get another wash a man beside me was getting an entire refund and a free wash, he was so mad he turned down the free wash and stated in some nasty terms he wouldn't be back... I went in 7-31-15 to get a vehicle inspection, interior clean, and car wash. Was told the inspector wouldn't be in until the next day from 8AM to 2 the next day (Saturday) and that they couldn't do interior cleaning until next day due to contract with a car rental agency. Ok, inconvenient, but fine. Showed up at 10:30AM the next day and was told by person behind desk (the vehicle inspector as it turned out), the interior cleaning wouldn't be available until after 12. Kinda pushed me over the edge. How do you advertise these services but not actually provide them? Went to Soft Suds down the road and got car cleaned for less than $20. Won't go back to Mighty Wash again as they don't seem concerned with my business. read more

I took my truck in for an oil change today, $97.00 later for just oil and filter, the worst people to deal with ever, when I pulled up the man ask what I needed and I told him the oil brand and viscosity that was used in my truck, he said no problem they had the oil, when I paid the exorbitant bill I notice they had put in a different brand and changed the viscosity from what 5-30 to 5-20, my truck has 146,000 miles and this could be catastrophic for my engine, when I asked them why they did this, the told me I had signed off on using part synthetic oil, I told them yes that is what I wanted but I did not want the viscosity changed and that it was specifically written on top of the oil cap, they said sorry and supposedly replaced the oil, I don't know if they did or not I'm just hoping they haven't damaged my engine and oh yes the car wash is a big joke also as the truck has dirt running from the bumper and down the doors, this is a horrible place to go, don't do it, save your money and your vehicle.
