We've used Mighty Garage Doors 4-5 times and they are great. We have a large, heavy, wooden garage door that needs custom springs and extra HP to open it up. When our opener died recently, Blake came out and installed one that would meet our unique needs. These guys are professional, honest and don't take any shortcuts on quality. Agree with others, Blake is great and deserves a raise :) read more

My garage door wouldn't close all the way on a Sunday. Called Monday morning and was given 11-2 window and I got a call about 1:30 they were on the way. Blake diagnosed the issue immediately and bing, bang, boom, problem fixed and now the garage works AND is so much quieter. I appreciated how Dean, the owner was upfront about the $125 service charge. After all was said and done labor + parts, job total was a little less than $200. Not bad in my opinion. read more

All of a sudden what's up with my garage door? I left the house, closed the garage door, waited to be sure it closed and saw that it did.... then I'm out and about and get a text from my neighbor that my garage door is open. What's up with that? So based on Yelp reviews, I called Mighty Garage Doors. Great name, good image. The guy was very helpful and said he could send someone out in a few hours. Dane showed up and checked things out and told me that the opener was old (12 years) and was "losing its memory." He said the frequency couldn't be changed because it would just happen all over again. I was leaving for a weekend in LA and wasn't about to risk having my garage door open up by itself. Dane put in a new box with new mother board. He also analyzed my garage door and fixed some of the screws, etc. When he finished, the door opened and closed with less noise and with a smoother motion than it ever had before. He finished the entire job in just over an hour. Total cost: $375 for immediate service. What a great company. Dane (who had a great personality in addition to being efficient, prompt and knowledgeable) told me that his company services the Marine base and that they have been in business for many years. Five stars aren't enough for these guys. read more

Called Mighty Garage Doors to make an appointment to service our garage doors because we used them in a past and even recommend to friends. We agreed on day and time for them to come out, Tuesday between 12 and 2pm but when the day of the appointment came a guy from some other company showed up at 3pm. Company that has tons of 1star reviews on Yelp and I would never consider them otherwise. I was in a hurry and let him look at our door. He wasn't able to tell what was exactly wrong and why the door kept lifting back up at random times, but tightened some things, etc and charged us $89 for coming out. The paperwork mentioned Mighty referred them to us. Never during the initial call did Mighty mentioned they will give our address to a different company and have them come out instead. That is very unprofessional. If you guys are too busy then say so on a phone and let the customer chose the next company they want to deal with. Do not share customer information with other companies without their permission and send them to their homes. read more

Worst experience ever. Advice: Ask your salesperson how he or she handles dissatisfaction with the installation. Ask for examples of how problems were remedied. During this installation the owner acted out of control and trespassed on our property (we have this on video), arriving without warning to inspect the poor condition of the brand new door his company just installed. The slightest mention of dissatisfaction to our salesperson (who couldn't have been nicer or more responsive during the sales transaction) unfortunately resulted in a quick breakdown in communication. The salesperson had no idea how to handle a legitimate complaint about the new garage door, and directed us to the owner, who was horrible. Instantly jumped to legal threats. Brutal and frightening. read more

Great experience from first call to the last receipt. Customer service on the phone was knowledgeable and helpful, guided me through some questions to get the right parts and service, and scheduled an appointment quickly. Daniel showed up a couple minutes early, confirmed we had two bad springs from a different garage door company, and had everything replaced and repaired in less than an hour. Very friendly and easy going. Called in to pay via credit card and they emailed me a receipt. Would highly recommend over other garage door companies we've worked with in the past. Thank you! read more

I'm stingy with five stars, it's reserved for the best of the best. Less than a year ago, I had a garage door emergency, it was locked in place due to the rollers/bushings/bearings coming off track and and bending structures that hold them in place. The tech(NOT FROM MGD) that came out on a Saturday wound up charging us $300.00....since we needed the work done, I paid for it, but we didn't even consider using that company again. Fast forward to today. We noticed for a few weeks now that one of the bearing/rollers was coming unseated...and called on Friday for appt to repair. Nice lady on the phone asked if Tuesday was acceptable, I said "sure". How about between 11:00 am and 12:00 pm? "Sure". Great, now we wait! Jesse showed up at 9:30 am today. Now, don't know about you all, but time is money, and early is awesome to me! 8:00 am would certainly have been TOO early, but 9:30 am is a refreshing and welcome surprise, as I was cleaning up the garage anyway. For $95:00, he: -Lubed the track and motor mechanism. -Corrected the (previously incorrectly installed) track orientation problem(not an easy fix, maybe 20 minutes). -Visually inspected the pins and connectors for the door sections -Trued up the track with special Visegrips that I don't have that really took out the bends, waves and kinks(maybe another 10 minutes, both sides) -Inspected the motor assembly, informed me how much longer he thought it would be working and made some helpful suggestions.(He was here slightly over an hour, working the whole time) -Inspected the door function and kept working until he was satisfied, inside the garage and outside that he had done work up to a high standard of quality. Some service technicians suck, some are ok, and some are spectacular. If I owned a business looking for someone who is a self-starter, conscientious and mindful of his work, I would hire Jesse in a heartbeat. He was that AWESOME! It was money well spent, and for those of you clueless enough to lock yourself in the garage without an exit point, consider a $95.00 service call a fee for being stupid!! read more

Thank you mighty garage doors for installing our brand new beautiful garage door!!!! :) We just purchased a new home and we wanted to replace our garage door. I look no further and I found this place. Dean actually came out to give me an estimate and send us a quote the following Monday. We were able to get our garage door install by Jesse the following week. Works out with our timeline and etc. Jesse called to make sure, we clear all debris in the garage so he can work which I thought was excellent service. Thanks again!!! read more

Seth came out originally for a repair on our garage. We had a 20 year old garage with broken brackets and a sketchy motor. He was on time, nice and informative. After adding the cost of small repairs, I was only a few hundred bucks from replacing the entire thing. We decided to give it some thought on if we should replace or repair and 10 minutes later we were back on the schedule for a full replacement, new insulated doors, new hardware, engine and installing for about $1400 bucks. He installed the new belt driven system in under 4 hours. After looking and listening at the unit, we were more than happy. He installed a new vinyl insulation strip which I didn't know was included. What a difference! Thanks Seth and mighty. You guys rock ! read more

Our garage door's spring broke & motor died, but Mighty Garage Doors' expert named Daniel, came to fix it quickly and smoothly. He also explained clearly how the sweet new garage motor and clickers work (so cool!) Spoke to Justin, he gave me an estimate for a broken spring & to schedule an appointment. He was very pleasant over the phone and his estimate was spot on. The repairs needed was for my rental property and Justin didn't mind getting the work done and billing me afterward. Seth came out to do the work. Funny story, we ordered a pizza and the delivery guy slammed into our garage and damaged both cars and destroyed the garage door. We called Mighty Garage Doors and they were fantastic. Four years later - Mighty Garage Door's customer service remains stellar. Emailed them late yesterday. Couldn't get the garage door up. Upsetting for me! Again, just a few minutes later, they were on the phone to me. They asked me to describe the situation. She listened too. Made me feel much calmer about the situation. Then we scheduled Daniel to come out betw. 9 and 10 am the next day. Daniel arrived at 9:45 am. Garage door repaired (broken spring) by 0:15 am. Must have set some kind of speed record! And, once again, service went beyond what I expected. Daniel took the time to lubricate all the parts and inspect for other issues. While I know he has other customers to attend to, he acted like I was the only customer he had. Made sure I was happy with the repair (which I am!). Polite and friendly fellow too. read more

Another positive experience with this company....my garage door was squeaking ALOT upon opening and Dean came out to inspect. I had already sprayed with lubricant and figured something was bent out of shape or old and in need of replacement. Dean sprayed a bearing that I hadn't noticed way above the track, eliminated the noise and didn't charge me for the call. Another company could have completely taken advantage of me and sold me new parts and a big job. So appreciative of his honesty and kindness! read more

Tatiana and Daniel are professionals when it comes to giving outstanding customer service. They demonstrate a proprietary interest in the business and service they provide. For a couple of months, I'd been having a problem with my garage door opener. When I'd try to close the door, it would stop halfway down and re-open. All obvious causes were explored and disregarded. The issue appeared to be with the garage door opener, which came with the house when I bought it a few years ago. Based on Yelp reviews, I called Mighty Garage Doors to have someone come out and either fix the opening system or replace it with a new one. Either way, I knew I was looking at about $500 that I didn't have. Keith, the owner, called me back and asked me to describe the issue. When I finished, he said, "As much as I'd love the business, the model you have should come with a lifetime guarantee. Why don't you call the company and talk to them first?" I agreed that if any work was required, I'd call him back. Sure enough, the door opener company said they'd handle it for me and walked me through a pretty straightforward fix. Over the phone, for free. Everybody knows how brutal the economy is and how businesses--especially those depending on home repairs and renovations--are struggling to stay in business. I'd like everybody on Yelp to know about one business that has the integrity to do the right thing for its customers, even if it means passing up an easy invoice. Mighty Garage Doors has earned my gratitude and all future business. Thanks, Keith! read more

They made a mistake, admitted it, and fixed it fast. This may be the first four star review for a company that didn't deliver on time. We needed to replace our garage door windows with new glass after a botched instillation by another company (they get one star, just for comparison). Keith answered the phone at the company's HQ and came within an hour to take the broken glass away. He measured the replacement glass but ended up measuring wrong, coming back with the wrong size glass. I honestly didn't mind but Keith clearly did. He felt awful. He got new glass cut and had it all fixed fast. I was really impressed by his honesty and sincerity. I want a job done right the first time, don't get me wrong, but I also really value customer service and honesty. We will be using Mighty for two other major garage door projects in the near future (one project involves installing 10 new doors on a historic apartment complex). read more

Called in due two deep dented garage door panels with a snapped gear in my 15-year-old garage door motor. Within a week, I was able to get Tatiana onsite to review the damage and then shortly after, Brian to come out to replace the entire door and motor. Brian was very professional and knowledgeable about garage doors and motors. It only took roughly 2 hours - I observed the entire process and could definitely tell that he has been doing this for years. He was informative throughout the installation and made sure he had my permission to make any tweaks or adjustments that were out of the ordinary due to my garage door opening not being built evenly. Tatiana made a scheduling mistake and I had to rush home on an unscheduled day to meet Brian to install my new door. Because of that, I was initially going to deduct a star but in the end, the company went above and beyond to take care of me. Despite the mistake, Tatiana was very professional and extremely helpful throughout the process. She answered almost every single call I made via mobile. Mistakes happen in all companies, and Might Garage Door handled it very well. Brian did have to come back to replace a new panel that had a small dent during shipping. The replacement took only a couple of days for Tatiana to schedule and roughly 10 minutes for Brian to replace. The price was fair based on my research and comparisons to major companies like Home Depot & Lowes'. The door has been running for a couple of weeks now without any issues. Thanks to the Yelp reviews I made the right decision to go with Might Garage Doors. read more

So I called MGD around 8-9AM. The individual I spoke with said they could get somebody out to my place around 11-12 the same day to do a install of a garage door opener that I purchased on my own. They quoted me $135 for the job. Tim showed up to my place around 10:30 while I was running an errand and gave me no grief about not being at home. I was on the way back, so it wasn't more than a few minutes wait for him. Tim was very professional, took a quick look at the mess that we had waiting for him - i.e. the garage door opener that I thought I could install myself and had taken out of the box already. He got to work right away and about an hour later, the new opener was installed and he was getting rid of the old one for us. He event went so far as to help us quiet our garage door by applying some WD40 (obviously something we could do) but I appreciated that he didn't give me some BS answer when I asked about the garage door rollers (if they were the culprit to the loud noise). All in all, I was very pleased with the service that MGD provided and Tim was very professional and pleasant to deal with. I will definitely keep them in mind if I have any future work that needs to get done! read more

As good as it gets. I had convinced myself that I needed an all new garage door opener, so Tim came prepared to provide me with just that. Worked with Tatiana from Mighty Garage Doors to replace my old garage door and garage door opener (old one was broken). She came out to assess my garage door situation and was very friendly and courteous. She gave me an estimate via email which was very reasonable. And even though there was a problem with the new garage door being delayed 1 week because of the distributor, they came out the following week and did an excellent job installing the new garage door and opener, and hauled away the old one. And, our garage is a non-standard size with low ceiling in one part of the garage ceiling. So, excellent installation and great customer service. The only glitch was that we got the plain windows instead of the crossed windows, but Tatiana came out the next day after the installation to install the crossed windows. Now that's great customer service. Thank you, Tatiana. I really appreciate that. 5 stars for all the effort and great work! read more

Tim did a great job in replacing our 62 year old garage door that was original to our 62 year old house! Not only was he fast,,,,,an hour, but they had to 'adjust' things because our door was not the standard 14 feet,,,something like 13'10". Price was right too! read more

I won't write much, since my review just echoes what others have said. A very friendly tech came out the morning after I called. He showed up on time and it only took him about 20 minutes to manually open the garage door, install a new override lock and replace my clicker. The thing that impressed me most however, was while I was on the phone with Keith, he tried to run me through a list of things I could try at home to fix the problem, at no charge. Nothing worked, but any business person who would go out of his way to save the customer money gets an A+ in my book. read more

It's the worst feeling in the world when u arrive home at night and your garage door fails to open. Keying in I found the spring had finally failed after who knows how long and both drums's cables were slack. I called Mighty Garage Doors, having found them through a most positive reviews search here, at 8AM and they had someone out to my home not long after. When Brian showed up he was incredibly professional and reviewed my options. I could either service the spring and drums, or replace the entire garage door in addition to those repairs. Pricing was significantly less than Lowes or Home Depot and I figured I might as well update the look of the house (something I'd been considering for a while). Brian arrived the next day right on time, replaced the drums and spring, in addition to tracks, installed a brand new door (with windows! what an upgrade) and sealed any gaps in the structure. All in all he replaced everything but the motor (and motor track) including labor for the cost of a garage door with windows from Lowes or Home Depot. Mighty Garage Doors provides the most exceptional customer service, response time, and attention to detail during installation I've yet to experience from anyone in the home repair field. Their scheduling is more open and pricing a lot more competitive than big box home improvement stores. I will certainly continue to reach out to them if the need arrises again. read more

Yelp did not let me down. These guys definitely deserve 5 stars! My garage door had been driving me crazy. It would open 6 inches and then close. So... I decided to turn to Yelp and see who they recommended to assist me. I called Tuesday for a morning appointment on Wednesday. Luckily, they had a 9am available. I couldn't wait much longer as my car was stuck in my garage! TJ showed up promptly. He took a look at my door and suggested that I get a new motor, which made sense. By the looks of it my motor was OLD... I currently have an old style wood garage door and thought I would ask for an estimate to go with shiny and new. A metal rolling door vs wood...what a novelty!? Not only was TJ able to give me a competitive bid on the spot, but was able to install and haul away my old door... ALL IN THE SAME DAY! I am totally satisfied and did not feel pressured at all. Also, may I note that they did not probe for a review. In which case I am even happier to give one :) I really am THIS excited about my new garage door! Thank you Mighty Garage Doors. read more
