The whole experience with Easy Open was... easy. We recently had our old screw drive (installed in 2005 by previous homeowners) Liftmaster completely fail. The light flickered nonstop and the unit refused to even attempt functioning. I ordered a brand new jack shaft/side opener off Amazon and was going to try installing myself. But then I discovered our garage door was super unbalanced (the spring had lost a lot of tension I guess). This would likely make the new opener unable to function, and garage door springs are not safe for a DIYer to mess with, so I was stuck and decided to call in the professionals. I reached out to a few businesses on Yelp, and... Pros: They responded quickly to my Yelp request with an actual estimate (only company who did) They stuck to their estimated schedule, arriving right in the middle of it Devin is an awesome guy and a super skilled installer who knows what he's doing and more importantly: cares about doing it well! He was really friendly, worked quickly (took about 90 mins altogether for everything), took care of all the little details, cleaned up the area when he was done, and walked me through all the operations of our new door opener at the end. We chatted a bit as he worked and had a pretty good time while still getting everything done blazingly fast. Easy Open accepted Zelle for payment which is super convenient for those of us who never have cash and don't know where their checkbook is! Cons: None, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these guys to anyone who asks. I'll definitely be calling them when we have any more garage door related needs! read more

This is the second time I use EODC for my garage door need, only this time is replacement of the garage door. From the very beginning Michele was great, very responsive, answered all of my questions. Arranging the appointment was easy and flexible. Randy came out and gave me a quote, he didn't upsell anything I don't need which I appreciate. After that, I had few more email exchanges with Michele and she was very helpful. The technician Max came out to install the new door, he was fast and professional. It was a great experience from the beginning to the end, no complaints at all. Call EODC for your garge door need. And no, I don't work for them :-), just want to give them a feedback and review. read more

Went out to my garage to go run an errand, and the door would not open due to a broken spring. Michele at Easy Open Door Company responded to my Yelp inquiry quickly, and she was efficient in scheduling Randy to come to my house in just over an hour. Randy was professional, courteous, and personable. He installed the new spring, recommended replacing some worn out bearings for a nominal charge, and even fixed two other small items on his own. All in all, a very satisfying experience at a fair price. read more

We had an old garage door replaced by Easy Open Door Company, and I couldn't be happier with the results! Technician Devin did an absolutely phenomenal job. With 30 years of experience, his expertise really shows in every detail of his work. He repositioned the ceiling bracket from the middle of the track to the very end to reinforce the rail and keep it from sagging under the weight of the new door, and he even added new handles for me. What impressed me most was Devin's cordial personality and his commitment to quality. He told me he approaches every installation as if he were doing it on his own home--focusing on maximum safety and making sure the entire structure is sturdy and built to last. Easy Open Door Company is a family-owned business, and you can truly tell that they care about their customers and their craftsmanship. Highly recommend Devin and this company! read more

Shout out to Max from easy open door company who fixed our garage door opener this morning. He was set to arrive between 8 AM and 10 AM and he was there at 8:10 AM. He got right to work on the problem I had called about. After he figured out the problem and fixed it, he then looked at my springs, and rollers, and adjusted the door and lubricated everything! I didn't realize that it could work so smoothly! The price was exactly what they said over the phone and I am very happy! read more

Michele was able to get me a reasonable flat rate estimate for a new garage door quickly. Door was ordered and installed within a week after they sent someone to take measurements. The job took 3-4 hours max while I was working from home and I was very satisfied with the final product! Now we can finally work on setting up our home gym without random dust bunnies and dirt coming through the cracks. Highly recommend using Easy Open Door Company :) read more

The drive belt on our 20 year old opener broke. They gave me quotes to repair, replace and the option of contacting the manufacturer for warranty. Due to the age of the current opener and newer modern features of a new opener we went that direction. Devin came out for install same day and we couldn't be happier. He serviced the springs and went over all the features before leaving. Can't go wrong with the Easy Open Door Company... highly recommend!!! read more

The only thing prompting this review is excellent service. We used Easy Open to install a new garage door opener. After installing garage door insulation we called them back out to rebalance the door. These appointments were easy to make, they arrived on time, and I found pricing to be fair. Fast forward to months later... While different contractors were on site, the cable came off the pulley and the door jammed. I called Easy Open and they told me they had no availability for a week. They then offered to contact the tech to see if they'd be willing to come out on Saturday morning (the next day). The tech agreed, and was there the next morning at the exact time they promised. The problem was resolved in minutes for a very reasonable price. Highly recommend doing business with Easy Open! read more

Very fast service. I had an inquiry around 6:30am on a Sunday, and Randy was here by 8:30. Had reasonable quotes. We are very satisfied. Highly recommend. read more

Thanks Yelp for helping me find another AMAZING company! I utilized the new Yelp projects regarding getting my garage door replaced. Michele from Easy Open Door reached out and I went with her! Right off the bat, I felt comfortable with this company. She helped answer my questions, helped me take measurements, provided different options, dropped off sample panels for me to look at. Honestly I felt like I was dealing with a friend during my new garage door experience. The final measurements were made and the door installed. I could not be happier. Thanks Michele for being so kind, friendly, patient and helpful during the process! read more

I called Easy Open Door Company and I spoke with a woman and I told her that my garage door wasn't closing and that I tried several times to reset the code but it didn't work. So I asked her to please send someone out to help me. The woman never told me that there would be any charge for someone to come out to help me. Randy came out to take a look at it and he was able to get my code to work and the garage door closed right away in less than a minute. I thanked him for coming out to help me and I thought that he left but then I heard him banging on the garage door. When I opened the garage door he told me that there is a $99.00 charge for the service and I told him that the woman that I spoke with on the phone never told me that there would be any charge and that I'm not going to pay him anything. Randy then called me an asshole and I told him that I'm going to tell his boss what he said to me and he said that he is the boss. I told him that he just lost my business forever! Please don't do any business with this company or you will regret it forever! read more

We have used this garage door company for nearly 30. Excellent company. We've needed a few repairs (broken springs, new motor) and some basic tune-ups over the years. We have been very happy with the door and the overall service we have received. We've always received very prompt response to our service needs. I highly recommend this garage door/opening remotes service. read more

This was a super easy upgrade. Loved the easy communication with Michele and the experienced techs that knocked out the installation in no time. We went from a wooded one-piece tilt-up door to a Clopay modern garage door that mimics the look of our front door. Note: I was looking at come really grand doors on their website not knowing how expensive they were. Michele suggested I could spend a lot less and get the same look. She was right. For our modest house built in 1955, the garage door I ended up getting looks right at home. read more

The service was initiated on Yelp, Easy Open Door Company and few other companies sent me a quote. EOD was the second company that responded to the property address I requested. The company communicated with my tenant without an issue. Unlike the first company who offered free consultation, EOD was upfront and honest. HONESTY is the keyword. The first company quoted me $900 by up selling me the repair with replacement of other parts. I thought it was way too much, then I sent the pics to EOD, Sherrie and Michele were upfront and honest, and explained that I don't need those parts, and even I did, it wouldn't cost that much. The first company then started lowering his price to 800, then 650. At this point, it was a total turn off. I decided to go with EOD. They got the door repaired with broken springs for a very reasonable price and inspected other components too. My tenant was happy. And so was I! I would definitely use them again in the future. 4.9 out of 5 star, a slight hiccup with the communication part. read more

We have been using Easy Open Door for several years. After seeing their great reviews we gave them a try 3 years ago, and were impressed by their fast response, excellent work and honesty in estimating - no up sales, no fixing things that don't need fixing. Since then we have used Easy Open for repairs and maintenance of our 2 garage doors, and have been pleased every time. The prices are fair and their work is great. read more

This is an efficient well run company with quality work and craftsmanship and all the people are a pleasure to work with.

Great service from beginning to end. Communication with Michele was great; she was kind and able to provide a quote and get us scheduled quickly. Randy showed up within the scheduled window and fixed our springs on the garage door with no issues. Will definitely use this company again! read more

Our spring broke on our garage door and we needed a new bracket. They came out to fix it and charged us $1025 to fix it when they left they didn't balance it and our garage door opener wouldn't work so when we called them back to come and fix it correctly, he blamed it on us that our garage door was too heavy. So now our garage door still doesn't open and we're out 1025. Yes, they put a new spring on it and a new bracket but when we go to use our garage door opener, it won't work because they didn't balance it so we're back to square one thanks to them when asked if they guarantee their work obviously they don't. We had a friend tell us that their spring broke and they were charged $125 wow, we were obviously totally ripped off. Do not use this company. They state they're family owned, but obviously they don't know what they're doing. read more

After experiencing some trouble with a close to 20 year-old garage door system, I searched for garage door services based overall rating and was pretty specific with what I needed. Within what seemed like minutes, I was contacted by the owner, Michelle, who provided me with three different quotes. I called her back the next day and, after our pleasant discussion to get a clear idea of the situation, she made a practical recommendation (and it wasn't the priciest option). After confirming a time and date, she sent her technician, Randy, to my home to perform the install. Randy was super-friendly, interactive, informative, and efficient. He completed the install of my new garage door unit easily within 90-minutes and ran through features when finished. Thanks to Michelle and her team of professionals for the great service and setting up our new garage door unit to allow my spouse and kids safely into the house. read more

My garage door needed another fix, so I called Easy Open Door again. I think that the company that install the door years ago maybe didn't set it up correctly... Devin came from Easy Open Door and diagnosed the issue with the motor and the door, he fixed the problem and took extra care to check all parts of the garage and tightened some bolts. He was so friendly and informative. I wanted to update my review just to give him a mention. I truly cannot recommend this company enough, they have very fair pricing, flexible scheduling that works with you, and awesome customer service! read more

We needed to add some weatherstrip along the garage door and sent request for a quote to multiple companies through Yelp. Only Easy Open Door company provided a quote without needing to send over a tech. Their price was the lowest and reasonable compared to other quotes. They worked with me to choose what color of the molding that matches the door. The tech they sent over did a great job installing the weatherstrips and was able to figure out how to install in one area that was missing part of the wooden frame. As part of their service fee, he also checked the garage door moving parts, replaced a few broken hinges (for minimal extra cost for the part) and added some lubricant to make the door less squeaky. Overall pretty great experience with Easy Open Door Company and would use them again in the future! read more

Honest people and great service. My garage door sounded like it was going to fall off the wall when I opened it. It has to be at least 25 years old. Turns out the rubber trim needed replacing. Randy came out on Wednesday to evaluate the problem. Matt came out on Friday and replaced the trim in 30 minutes. No over sell. Very honest people and I found their price to be very reasonable. Nice to find a company like that. Thanks Easy Open Door Co. read more

Easy Open Door was here Monday to fix my garage door that would not open. Randy was really nice and very knowledgeable. Door was fixed within 20-30 minutes and because I am 81 and don't know about garage door workings, I think I could have been an easy mark for someone not ethical. Minimal charge was really appreciated, and I would give high praise for an ethical company. Easy door actually installed the door 21 years ago. read more

Great service as always. I cannot recommend the technician Max, and Easy Open Door Company enough. We had an emergency with our garage door and scheduling the appointment was a breeze. I needed my garage door springs replaced. I got a quote over the phone and was able to schedule service. The technicians arrived earlier than expected and were very kind. They took a quick look at the door and clearly explained the repair they would do along with each of the steps they needed to take, which I greatly appreciated. They even did this without being prompted. They finished the work quickly and showed the door was fully operational. horrible experience. Called to get my unit looked at and they claimed my logic board was bad. came out to replace it and found out it didn't work then put the old logic board in without properly reconnecting wires. Now they expect me to pay again to have him come out to fix what he didn't finish. And why give a 4 hour window on a work week and just pop up like the homeowners are unemployed...people work during the week... Also, customer service lady stopped helping when trying to resolve the issue of the units that they sold us and installed. I don't think they properly diagnose any repairs. read more

Garage door opener spring broke. Called and they were able to come out same day. Randy showed up on time and did a great job of replacing our tension spring (not the easiest job in our garage because space was limited). He not only fixed the spring, he noticed one of the roller brackets was split and he replaced that and lubricated everything and final test was a working garage door that is MUCH QUIETER than it was! Thanks to Randy for such a great job. Oh, did I mention the cost was very reasonable? Trustworthy company I would call again in a heartbeat! read more

My 15year old garage door, was making extremely loud noise every time I opened and closed it....so loud, I imagine the neighbors could here it. In years prior I would lube it with white lithium and it would solve the problem, but this time around no dice. Thanks to Yelpers I called Easy Open, and the technician who came out said that it wasn't the door nor the tracks making the noise, but that it was coming from my 20 year old garage door opener itself (i.e. the motor, which was 5 years older than the door)...the echoes of the garage made it hard for my ear to tell where the noise was coming from, but as I found online "determine whether it is coming from the door or the opener. Disengage the opener from the door and then open and close the door manually. If you don't hear the noise when doing this, the opener is the source of the noise." They gave me a choice of LiftMasters, and I went with the belt drive with LED lighting. They did a great job of removing the old one and putting in the new one. That was nearly 6 months ago and we couldn't be happier with the sound of silence (also, the built-in MyQ to receive Amazon deliveries is great). Thank you Easy Open. read more
