It felt at the time that the purchase was to please the owner more than myself. The next morning, less than 24 hours after the initial purchase, I attempt to return the dress and the owner said, "I can't believe you would ask to return this." I was a new customer and was not told the store policy at the time of purchase. Essentially, I was punished for shopping there. I faced a hardship because I did not look and read every single thing on her cluttered counter. I could understand refusing the return had the dress been worn, or if the return date was lengthy, but she refused to return my money because there was nothing else in the store worth purchasing. The most challenging part was the owner's deplorable attitude. She only cared about how the purchase impacted her, not me. Had she returned this item, I would have been likely to patronize her business in the future, now, all I will do is avoid it and warn others to be 100% certain of their purchase.

And as such, I think this may be where future (or current) eccentric old ladies in Buffalo go for their fabulous garments. This beautiful store is a colorful collage of aesthetics, textures, prices and pieces, from long, minimalistic jersey dresses to frou-frou formalwear with silk flowers and lace. The accessories, too, run the gamut, from trendy pendants to vintage-y looking pearls (and are showcased beautifully in a variety of frames and clear-top tables). It's very eclectic, yet it it all works and seems to reflect one strong sense of direction. You can imagine every piece being in the same cool chick's closet. And when I say cool, I don't mean someone who looks like she was put together by Rachel Zoe; I mean like someone who brings her own totes to the farmer's market, knows how to pick out a slew of songs on a guitar with some confidence, volunteers for a cool nonprofit on the weekends, and has a decent recipe for hummus that she can make from memory. I can really only lay claim to the latter, but there's still plenty of time for me to evolve into my future self. Prior to my arrival which was fairly close to the opening of the store, I stopped to get my morning coffee. When i entered the store coffee in hand i was immediately greeted by "you cant have that in here!" Lets start by saying i am not a 7 year old child and will not run around hoping to spill my drink on the dresses, also i was not offered a place to sit it while i shopped i was simply told i can not have it in here. Disgusted with the horrible customer service i left. Simply a "How are you this morning? i'm sorry ma'am but is there anyway you could leave that outside, we don't allow drinks within our store" would have done. The store apparently has great pieces from what i've heard, but unless this staff gets their stuff together their going to be turning more and more people away form their business.

None of the workers talked to us until we asked them a question and then they offered us their thoughts on our outfits and was much more visible and approachable. There's a really good selection here. The men's section is pretty much two-three racks. Which was disappointing. There's a ton of quality options and even better when you come during one of their sales. Came during their pink and blue sale. 50% and 30% off of their clothes. There's boots, hats, jeans, dresses, jumpers, night gowns, slits, lingerie, jackets, jewlery and more. A lot of cute things. There's about 5 different rooms for you wander around. Fitting room is in the back of the store. There's 4 I believe. There wasn't a great range of sizes. The entrance is hidden however. You need to walk down a semi ally to get to the store. I didn't see any signs on the street. There was a small rack of clothes on the sideway which let me know that I was in the right area. Parking is on the street. Depending on the time of day, it could be easy or you'll be walking a few blocks. If you're parking on the main street, make sure you pay for parking during the week because parking enforcement are always around.

There are vintage hats, clothing, jewelry, and all sorts of accessories in this shop. I kept going up to the counter and buying more. My one friend found a beautiful lucite purse and bought it for a song. This store has everything a vintage fashion enthusiast could want! Wendy is a total doll and was so excited to have us.
