Jason is so extremely helpful, fairly priced and quick! I would recommend this business to anyone in need of car repair. Thank you so much for your help. read more

My wife's car was hit on the interstate. Damage was extensive, but body only. We had it at a big corporate body shop, while we fought with the insurance company. Big shop eyeballed it and gave us a high estimate and said it would likely go up by another $1k once they did the tear down. Knowing we might have to pay for some of the damages, we took it out of there. My guys at Nick's Auto Repair told me about Jason. We took it there and by the end of the day, we had our estimate. Not only was it lower than the big shop, he committed to an invoice so detailed that it would help me in my issues with my insurance company. Big shop had estimated a minimum of three weeks to get it done. Jason got it done in six days. And it looks awesome. I hope to never need an auto body shop again, but if I do, Jason is my guy. read more

Jason took care of my sort of hard to track down parts need for my Scion Tc. I pulled up, told him what I needed, he called a parts place right then and confirmed availability and ordered them for me. The next business day the parts were there and he took 10 minutes to install and I was off! My quote was right and he did a great job. Can roll my windows down care free now! Doesn't take credit cards but accepts cash, Venmo and checks. read more

I had a time crunch and needed a repair. I went to three other repair shops and nobody would even see me without an appointment (days to a week later). Jason looked at my car when I showed up unannounced, sent me an estimate later that day, had the parts two days later and fixed the car while I waited. Obviously it was a small job, but his responsiveness and courtesy were unmatched. Excellent workmanship, honest and reasonable pricing, and considerate customer service. Bring your auto repair meeds here; I highly recommend! read more

I was rear ended, and since I'm new here I put out a call on next-door.com for an auto repair shop. Somewhere local, and someone who wouldn't take advantage of me. I was recommended that I should take it to Midwood auto, and I'm glad I did. They did a great job, I didn't even look like I was in an accident. Of course a week later, someone hit the same bumper with a shopping cart and scratched it, but for that week? The bumper looked great. read more

They probably do good work here as stated in previous reviews but unfortunately I never got the opportunity to experience that due to the owners lack of customer service or follow up in my opinion. Took my Navigator in for an estimate and owner advised he would reach back out to me the next day with an estimate. No call the next the day. 2nd day I call him back in morning and he advised he was finishing up my quote and would reach back out to me that evening before he left the shop....no call back that day either. I call him back the 3rd day in the afternoon and he finally sends the quote on the 4th day. I call him that afternoon because I had a question about the quote and left a voice mail which still has not been returned at all. I decided to do business elsewhere because if that's his follow-up I do not wnat to do business here. read more

Went to Midwood after scratching my front bumper against another in a parking lot. The damage was minor enough that I assumed just a buffer could get it looking like new. I went to Midwood, per Woodie's recommendation, to get a quote. Once the owner took a look, he ran to grab some thinner and a rag and within 2 minutes my car looked nearly perfect. I was amazed and so appreciative. I asked how to repay him and he said 'come back when you have a real problem'. DONE! He made my day. How many times can you say that about someone who worked on your car? read more

After having a really tough time connecting with and finding a corporate car repair shop I was referred to Jason, owner of MAC, and it was a very smooth process ! He and his guys were very helpful and took great care of my car and myself throughout the whole process! Will Return if I ever need more work done! 100% will Recommend to ANYONE! read more

An honest, affordable body shop? Yes, they do exist! Came here to buff out an ugly dent. After getting several HIGHER (double) estimates in town, I came here. Jason (the owner) was very professional, courteous, and gave me a very reasonable estimate. Car was fixed 100%, on-time as promised, and With other minor scratches buffed out. It was cleaned and vacuumed too. Hope I never have to come back for a fender bender, but its worth the drive from the suburbs. read more

I had the owner make an estimate about having a deep scratch repaired. Ironically, it was in the same exact area where he fixed it before from another incident. I noticed a thick layer of what I thought was was cement, not part of the car. After taking it to my dealership's collision center, they informed me that many layers of Bondo was used by Midwood Auto Craft before. Due to this cheap fix, I had to pay over $1k extra to the dealership auto collision center to have it fixed correctly. I'm beyond disappointed because I really like the owner. I hope my review and experience will help the public in making a decision on whom he/she chooses to fix their car. read more

This place is great! Got an appointment pretty quick, the work was done fast, and the price was reasonable.

These guys are awesome! An honest body shop that does a great job. Incidentally, the final bill was about $150 less than the estimate. How many other shops do that? That speaks volumes to their integrity. By the way, they did an amazing job and my Ford Ranger looks great after they fixed it up. I'm very happy. I highly recommend them after having used other body shops over the years and finally finding on that's heads above the rest. read more

Jason was incredibly helpful. He was honest and to the point. Didn't beat around the bush and didn't try to hassle me or sell me on anything I didn't need. Gave me options and didn't pressure me to choose anything I wasn't comfortable with. In a world where it's tough to trust people, it was refreshing to deal with someone so genuine and honest. Thank you Jason! read more

I LOVE giving out 5 star reviews. I wish I could give Midwood Auto Craft one as well. The work Jason did was top-notch and timely, and he's a friendly guy. Here is why I have to deduct a star: My car was rear-ended and needed body work. I brought it in to Jason, who provided me with an estimate, to which I agreed, and we got the work underway. He asked for the insurance paperwork too, which I gave him. Surprisingly, his bill for repairs promptly increased 8% so that it exactly matched the estimate from the insurance company, even though no additional work was done. When I asked him about it, he sheepishly explained it was a difference in "billable labor hours" and went on to try to say that he was still saving me money by not replacing a piece that the insurance company suggested because it wasn't damaged. This tells me that he was trying to justify increasing his price for no reason by claiming that he was also saving me money. I'm sorry, but I don't appreciate arbitrarily increased fees, and for that reason I have to deduct a star. Absolutely no other complaints, however. The work was great and right on time. read more

I cannot say enough good things about midwood auto craft. After moving to the area as a 20 something girl, my car was hit and left in a lot. I was worried about finding a reliable shop here and experienced a horrible estimate from caliber, but my worries were resolved when I visited midwood and was helped by Jason. He was professional, respectful, and even completed the job earlier than anticipated. I told the shop I hope to not need to see them again, but if I do I will absolutely come back to them. read more

About 4 months after buying a brand new car, someone backed out of their driveway and scraped the paint off my front bumper, all the way down to the plastic. I was.... frustrated, to say the least. My first reaction was to take the car back to the auto body shop that works directly with the dealership I had bought my new car from. The quote this body shop gave me seemed a bit on the high side. So I looked on Yelp for auto body shops and came across Midwood Autocraft. I decided to set up an appointment with the shop. When I got to the shop, I was greeted by the owner Jason, who I had talked to on the phone. He was very knowledgable and thorough on explaining what the process what to do such a job. And Jason is a super nice guy! His quote came back 200 dollars cheaper than the previous quote I received. So like most people would, I decided to go with Midwood Autocraft. They finished the job on time and to be honest, my car looks brand new. Jason is an honest guy and he has a great body shop. I will never go or look to go anywhere for all of my auto body concerns and questions. Very easy to work with, super nice guy, and sticks by his word and to his work!! Thank you again, Jason and Midwood Autocraft!! Awesome work. Top notch. Oh I forgot to mention that they totally cleaned the entire interior part of my car, so my car does feel virtually brand new again. read more

Went to see Jason Waller again...What a Guy! He blew my drain hoses out..in my jeep sunroof...NO CHARGE. I've seen his collision work and it is outstanding! Additionally, his prices are very fair. Anyone in Charlotte who needs auto body work should see Jason first. I ca n assure you it will be a rewarding experience! read more

Great place to take your vehicle! They really care about your safety and are truthful! Highly recommended!

Very impressed and highly recommend. This was my 2nd quote and they came in higher than the first and said make sure they are including X into the quote. I went back to the first place and they agreed that would need to be done and their new quote was higher than Midwoods. Here is the good part, they had my car done quicker than they quoted and $328 less than their estimate. Friendly to boot. Hope you don't need auto body work, but if you do try these guys. read more

My Audi was getting a pretty significant amount of water into the car behind the drivers seat. I called a few places and one of the body shops actually suggested Jason at Midwood Auto Craft. I took it over to him and he was great! Not only did he take the time right away to help figure it out, he saved me hundreds of dollars from what I read online (other people that had this problem). I would definitely recommend him. Really nice, honest and took care of everything the within a few hours. read more

I had to take my car here due to damage on the front bumper. It was the most painless repair experience I have ever had! I dropped it off on Wednesday afternoon and it was done by Thursday afternoon. Jason is very courteous and you can tell he puts a lot of pride into his business. I recommended my roommate to Midwood for repairs on her car and she was just as thankful. read more

Went to Midwood Autocraft after being hit from behind and pushed into another car. Jason and his staff were great, and made my Toyota Camry look better than new. They even detailed it before I picked it up. I highly recommend this place. Solid work. Honest guys. read more

Best car experience ever. My car looks brand new. Jason is a very hard working honest man. My car was fixed in 4 days and is perfect. Do not go any where else for body work! read more

Great service! I took my car here for hail damage. I was given an estimate soon after the consultation, and the price to repair was right in line. The work itself was great, our car literally looked as good as new - like nothing had ever happened. I was really impressed overall, and would 100% recommend Midwood Autocraft. read more

Jason and his team did a terrific job repairing my sons Honda Civic, to the point it looks new. They are very honest and performed the repair as committed. Their charges were reasonable as well. Highly recommend them if you need body repair in Charlotte. read more

If you need body repair on your car this is the place to go. They do great work and have fair prices. I highly recommend this business!!

I was at the end of my patience with my Jeep's water leak. Anytime it rained water would pour out of my dome light and side panels in the front, and the rear passenger side carpet would also end up sopping wet somehow. I googled and researched and didn't come up with any answers. I made an appt with Midwood Auto Craft and they fixed it in less than five minutes! And didn't charge me anything! I really appreciate them sharing their expertise and not taking advantage of my ignorance (turned out the sunroof drains were blocked). I would definitely go back to these guys for other work, and I definitely recommend them. A few heavy rains later and I am drip-free! read more

I would give this business TEN stars if that option was available! I have a 2008 Toyota Yaris that had a roof leak on the driver's side. This was obviously a factory defect, and I regret that I didn't mention it to Toyota during my first few years of ownership-when it was just "spitting" out a drop. By last June it was leaking to the point where it was hitting me on the head and shoulders when it rained. Neither the dealer nor Toyota corporation would cover it since the warranty had expired by then. I took it to 2 separate repair places -the first said it was a windshield leak and resealed the windshield for $205. Then they said they found a Second leak" in the roof seam and would not guarantee that repair. (It NEVER had a windshield leak-the roof leak was its ONLY leak.) I next took it to a body shop that sprayed sealer for $40 and wouldn't guarantee it. The car continued to leak on me when it rained. I was told the way this car is made it would take more money to find the leak than the car was worth! I called another body shop and was told on the phone they would charge SEVERAL HUNDRED dollars just to take the headliner down and look and that it had probably rusted beyond repair at this point. My mechanic, Nick's Auto Repair, recommended MIDWOOD AUTO CRAFT. JASON WALLER, from this business took the headliner down, hosed the roof, found 2 small pinpoint leaks, fixed them, cleaned all the glue gunk off, AND scrubbed the brown water stains off the headliner after he reinstalled it. Plus he gave me a ride home AND picked me up after the repair. His charge ZERO! This man REFUSED to take a penny for anything he did including the gas to transport me back to his shop! He has restored my faith in humanity! I tried to INSIST that he take some money and he continued to REFUSE! I have been driving around all this time, dealing with the leak and living in fear that my entire car was going to rust away and that basically without spending several THOUSAND dollars there was no hope! Jason took pictures and showed me there was no rust or damage. I can not say enough GOOD things about this business! If you ever need any body work on your vehicle, rest assured that this business will be honest and reasonable! read more

There's a reason why Midwood Auto Craft has 5 star reviews. My Honda CRV needed rear bumper repair after someone hit my parked car at work. The rear bumper was knocked out of place and had minor damage. After Jason looked at the damage, he provided me with a quote that was extremely reasonable and well below what I would have paid if I had gone through my insurance provider. I made my appointment for about a week later and Jason fixed my car in half the time he originally quoted AND charged me less than the original quote. Yes, LESS-- and the reason was because the damage was actually not as bad as originally suspected, so took less time to fix. They charged me for the service provided, which is a breath of fresh air compared to what often happens in the auto business. Given my experience, I believe Jason and his team to be trustworthy and efficient professionals. I hope I never have to get auto body repair again, but if I do, I will definitely be coming back to Midwood Auto Craft. read more

Jason with Midwood Auto Craft is thorough and honest. I came to him with some minor cosmetic dents and he could've talked me into replacing the hood but told me the price wouldn't be worth the minor damage. The repairs he did make were very fairly priced - I will continue to use Jason for any collision repairs and recommend him to anyone in need of a great autobody shop. read more

I came to Midwood Auto Craft desperately looking for help regarding water seeping into my Jeep Liberty. Every time it would rain, water would appear in the floorboard of the driver side. It didn't seem to matter whether I drove the car in the rain or it was sitting unmoved in my driveway. I could not find any leaks around the door or the windshield, and brought the Jeep to Jason hoping he could figure out the problem. I was afraid that the problem would be unable to be solved and I would need to get rid of the car before it started having a mold problem. Jason not only immediately figured out that the problem had to do a clogged drain coming from my sunroof, but he fixed it in less than an hour. When I came to pick it up and tried to pay him, he told me not to worry about it and to bring it back when I had a real problem. It has been several months since the repair, and not a drop of water has come back into the car! Thank you Jason! read more

Excellent service!!! I stopped by after work to have a loose spot on my bumper checked out. I was expecting to get an estimate and schedule an appointment to drop off my car. Imagine my surprise when I was told it was a simple fix, and he came out to fix it on the spot! To top it all off, he didn't charge me a dime! Hopefully I won't need auto body work again, but if I do, I'll definitely come back :) read more

I found Midwood Auto Craft after looking on Yelp - an 8 ft limb fell from a tree and came down the driver side of my car. Jason gave me my second estimate and he was so personable and honest that I chose him to do my repairs. The pricing was fair and in line with my first estimate. I have a 2007 Hyundai Sonata that is valued at $4000 - the quote for my repairs was almost $2400 and my insurance company wrote me a check. The day I dropped off my car I asked Jason to be honest with me about the cost of my repairs and the value of my car - I wanted to do right by my insurance company. He was VERY honest with me and told me that if it was his car he would not fix the dents and just the side mirror and door handle. For a man in the business of making money that spoke volumes! Two of the 5 dents were substantial and I did want them fixed - he offered paint-less dent repair. It worked! My car looked great and he stayed on schedule with getting it back to me in the time he told me he could. Saved my insurance company $667 - I have worked in the insurance industry and keeping claims honest and fair keeps rates down for everyone, including yourself. I HIGHLY recommend Jason and this business. Just an FYI: Reaching him by phone or email was impossible - there is nobody that sits at the desk and you have to ring a bell when you are at the door as it is always locked. They hear it back inside the shop and come out almost immediately. This did not affect my rating of the business, I just think it is good for people to know, as I live 25-30 minutes from the shop and had to go there just to schedule dropping off my car. My email was not replied to. read more
