I called in and requested a quote for my vehicle regarding the window tinting service. The pricing was what I expected, and for the value, I thought it was a good deal. When speaking to the person up front, he was chill and relaxed. He was helpful with the decision making process on the percentage of tint I wanted which I appreciated. We then agreed on a percentage and my car began to get serviced. The service took about an hour or two which is normal. Once the service was complete, I got back in my car and noticed a big splash of liquid near the inside front of my driver side door window. There were other parts within the car that also had drip stains, but this one was the most noticeable. These were dried up stains on the car which made me feel like the cleanup of the vehicle was not taken care of properly. Additionally, I recently found a bottle of the window glass cleaner underneath one of my seats which was very surprising to see. While it can be viewed as a good thing, with the weather being as hot as it was, it made me worried about the product and if that could've caused any damage under my seats. The tinting was fantastic. It's very clean, done well, and is what I expected. I'm very thankful to have the tinting done to protect against the hot weather. Thank you again to the team I really appreciate it. read more

Called and set appointment well over week in advance. 2nd person in the parking lot for a 9am scheduled appointment on Saturday. Told to be back at 12.30 pm and they close at 1pm drove by at 11:10 and car had not been touched yet. Got back at 12:40 and ask status and was told they would check. 20 minutes later asked again and was like I never asked the first time. Then was told they over booked the day and it will be some time before I'm done! Why when I'm 2nd in the door who schedule over a week in advance am I the last done! Edit: Raise the review to four stars due to the Manager came out and apologized for the over booking and offered a discount to the few of us this happened to. Was looking for a local business that was able to install Ceramic tint on my vehicle. There was a few local businesses that stated they offered it, but only when I called. Yet those shops prices was extremely cheap and they didn't mention it on their website. So, I definitely passed as it seemed super sketchy and I how can I verify they were going to use ceramic tint unless I am sitting in the shop. Now Midwest Tinting has multiple offices - yet I went out of my way to this particular one - since they seemed to be the more established one and reviews to back it up. The lady who answered was easy-going and definitely knew her stuff without having 'to check with the manager.' Made an appointment, walked inside and dropped it off. They tried to limit too many people being inside due to COVID-19. I stayed in the vicinity and walked for about an hour. It's convenient that it is in a little strip mall area and Steak and Shake is just walking distance. Gone for no more than an hour and I saw my car in the parking lot. Thought they hadn't gotten to it - surprisingly it was already done. One thing to mention is that they stand behind their work, so they offer a lifetime warranty for all legal tint. Keyword 'legal tint' - that is one thing that has stood out to me - is that they only offer warranty to their legal tint - while some companies offer warranty to all their tint - legal or otherwise. Now the other thing is I wanted legal(35%) ceramic tint, yet my paperwork states 45. The lady stated "We have to use 45, since Ceramic is darker and to keep you legal - but if you do a tint test - you'll see." To be honest, I honestly didn't believe her and thought somehow I was being jipped. But, I eventually got a hold of a tint meter and it has me at 37%-38%. I was pleased. (and +3 or -3 for equipment discrepancy is good enough for me) It may be an older building but don't let the exterior of the building fool you. Cannot recommend these folks enough. I had my first 4Runner tinted here and my current one. Recently I had to replace the windshield on the 4R and have the new brow tint installed and while I was there the side windows were hazy. It was a problem with the film called low level haze. Meaning it looked kind of milky. Midwest Tint offered to replace that tint at no additional charge with their new product line. Midwest tint stands behind the work they do and the product they sell. Got my RDX done first and I was so impressed I took my Accord in a few weeks later. It's been about a year now and the tint on both of my rides is just as nice as the day it was installed. Heat inside the cars in the summer months has been drastically reduced. And I like the privacy of the darker glass as well. The RDX came with a warranty just in case, but since the Accord was so dark, it was a cash job. Not sure I understand that but, regardless, I'm a happy camper. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs tint. The staff was friendly and professional and on both occasions my vehicle was ready when promised.
