Please, please, please do not choose Orkin. It is incredibly disappointing that this location gets…read moreto benefit from the trusted Orkin name simply because the company has been around for so long. That reputation is exactly why I chose them. I assumed that such a well-established company would provide reliable, professional service. I was completely wrong. This has been, by far, the worst service experience I have ever had. I had concerns from the very first appointment. The technician did not seem professional, did not appear to understand why he was there, and could not explain anything about the account or billing process. I asked basic questions: Was there something I needed to sign? How would they receive my card information? Was there an online account I needed to create? I could not get clear answers. Against my better judgment, I continued with the service, and the experience only became worse over the next few months. Communication within this company is almost nonexistent. No one at the local office ever seems to be available by phone. The only people I have been able to reach are customer service representatives who are not local and cannot fully address what is happening at this branch. I was also never clearly told that I would receive two separate charges, one for $50 and another for $75. When I discovered mice in my home, that was the final straw. I specifically explained that I only wanted humane solutions used. I have previously experienced the horror of finding mice trapped alive on glue boards, so I made it extremely clear that glue traps were not to be placed anywhere in my home. While I was in a work meeting, my husband let the technician inside. Sure enough, glue boards were placed in the house. I had to leave my meeting, run out, and make them remove the traps I had expressly told them not to use. I was then told that someone would come to inspect my home. I explained that I work remotely and have dogs, so I needed the inspector to call me first and schedule an appropriate time. I was promised that he would. Two days later, Fernando arrived at my house without any warning. He never called and never scheduled the visit. Although he was polite, the unannounced visit felt intrusive and overwhelming. He completed an inspection of my entire home and then left without explaining what he found, what he recommended, or what anything would cost. I received absolutely no breakdown of the inspection or proposed services. The most unacceptable part of this entire experience, however, has been the unauthorized charge and service after I canceled. I canceled my service approximately one month ago and also turned off autopay through my account. Despite that, Orkin charged my card another $150 and sent someone to my home to perform a service while I was not there. The attached video shows that autopay had been turned off. A company should not be able to continue charging a customer or performing services after that customer has canceled. This is not a minor customer-service mistake. It involves my money, my home, and a service I explicitly canceled. I have reported the situation to the appropriate consumer-protection agencies because it needs to be investigated and addressed. Whether this happened because of a serious system failure, complete internal disorganization, or something else, it is unacceptable. It also makes me wonder how many other former customers may have continued to be charged without realizing it. Orkin may respond to this review and say that they would like the opportunity to fix the situation, but at this point, the damage has already been done. From the lack of professionalism and communication to ignoring my instructions, arriving at my home without notice, failing to explain an inspection, continuing service after cancellation, and charging my card after I disabled autopay, there is no reasonable way to restore my trust in this company. Please save yourself the stress and choose another pest-control company. I genuinely wish I had.

I spoke with Debbie on April 7, 2025, and she was not only incredibly kind and professional, but she made me feel like a valued customer--not just a number. Her warm and knowledgeable approach made it an easy decision to sign up with them that same day. Within the hour, I received a text from Chris, my assigned technician, letting me know he would be at my property on April 10th. I appreciated the quick scheduling and the convenience of communication via text--it made everything clear and easy to track. When Chris arrived, he was prompt, respectful, and extremely professional. He thoroughly inspected the entire property, including all the areas I was concerned about, as well as the house perimeter and our shed. He took his time to evaluate everything and explained what he was seeing along the way. His attention to detail and willingness to listen really stood out. Today, a month later, he's returning for our follow-up visit to ensure everything is under control and to address any ongoing concerns. This level of service and consistency is something I truly value. I'm extremely happy with my experience so far and plan to update this review in a few months to share how things are going long-term. If you're looking for a reliable, professional, and customer-focused pest control company, I highly recommend Rottler Pest Control.

The sails person was very kind but didn't explain the billing process clearly…read more The first scheduled spraying the person did not show up even when he called says he was 30 minutes out. I was able to connect anyone. Later they rescheduled and the Man who sprayed the outside of the house was very kind and even waved at the kids. So I thought ok everyone makes mistakes. Then when it came time for our next spray no one was getting in touch with us. I contacted them through text and no one replied then they sent a text saying that they would come for the quarterly spay past the due date for them to spray. They gave us the date but no time and no call before hand. When we called to ask about when they were coming they told us the person already was by but couldn't do it because the dog was out at 10am. No one contacted me or my husband at all and the neighbors doorbell camera doesn't show anyone arriving at that time. I just don't find any of the services we have experienced as professional. I have never actually had a company upset me so much just over professional quality. We still have to deal with them for the rest of the year contract. Hopefully they turn down better so I can delete this review. But I doubt it. I %100 am done with this company and would cancel except they chard you to get out of there contact. A contractor they can't even keep.

Unfortunately, the service didn't come close to matching the pitch. We were told mud wasps could be brushed out, but the service report listed those areas as merely "inspected " not treated or eradicated as we had been told. There was also a significant amount of webbing left behind, especially at the back of the house to the point we weren't even sure the technician had been there. The only real evidence he visited was that he left our back gate wide open, we caught it before letting her dog out, but that could've been a problem. After weighing our options, we decided the $225 early cancellation fee was worth it to move on. I will include pictures taken after the service.

We never received this service of extermination of the inside of properties. Normally if the properties get exterminated they are done outside and I needed something done right away .... So I had to pay the cost. My husband was getting bit all over his arms and they were like chicken pox (swollen).... I had Brandon from this company come out to exterminate for bugs, which turned out to be Bed Bugs (which I had no idea that I had that problem)... I felt so embarrassed and Brandon reassured me that it was probably NOT my fault as it can happen to the best of us who have people visit us as they might have bed bugs attached to their clothing and bed bugs travel with people through luggage; through business airline seats ; at restaurants seats; from hotels and the best of upper-end resorts. So-- I felt better knowing that this bug is quite common . Brandon was very detailed in showing me what a bed bug looked like and where to look for them and came up with my total cost for his services. His extermination service came in 3 visits instead of one for a total cost of $275. Most exterminators charge that fee for just one application...I have not seen a bed bug since and he finished exterminating for Bed Bugs a week ago. I liked his service so much that I hired him on for a monthly basic service ($45.) a month to spray for other bugs (peaty creatures) and this will be done monthly until I say to stop. I recommend him and feel he is honest and trustworthy as we had to leave our premises for over 2 hours and he was very careful with moving our furnitures when finished. Today, I'm totally happy and trust that if we have that problem again, he will be available to help again.
