The workouts are hard but they are scalable to fit your own abilities. When I started I was out of shape and scared to jump into CrossFit. However, the members and coaches at Jayhawker welcomed me in and I left that first class feeling as if I already knew everyone. The equipment is solid, both weight lifting and cardio. They've got group classes, including spin (didn't see the full schedule, but they've got bikes in the group room). The restrooms are clean and spacious, with a men's & women's room; each with two stalls & one shower. Oh! And they have two tanning booths. We visited on a Saturday afternoon, and we had the place to ourselves, save one tanning visitor. Good music playing. Really nice that we didn't have to fight for machines. If we lived in the area, this would definitelybe our gym!! We'll definitely be back the next time we're passing through St. Joe.
