Still no anything. She may have well of been a robot. What happened to common courtesy and a polite greeting? If you are working in a public capacity you should have some common manners. I have a close relative who is a radiologist and he reviewed the report and had such compliments about the radiologist report!! Maher is the radiologist here, and a true professional. He instructed me not to wear any metal, which was nice because I didn't have to change into scrubs which is a pain. I diligently followed his instructions and had an uneventful procedure. When I walked to the counter to checkout, I overheard Maher telling another lady that her rings, jewelry, etc. had to come off. The staff is always friendly from the admissions to radiology. I don't recall ever waiting more than 15 minutes, & that was during a busy morning. Tip: Friday mornings always seem busiest. Recently I went for an X-ray on a knee that has been troubling me for several months. I went on a Friday afternoon & got right through. My X-ray was done through the jeans I had on. Pretty cool....no undressing. Not always the case of course depending on what you're there for.

They did an MRI of my neck and they have me a headset to listen to some music. The machine is larger and I was told can accommodate someone up to 500lbs. I didn't feel as closed in as I usually do. Today it was an MRI of my brain. It was noisy and I couldn't wait for it to be over with but it wasn't that bad! I wasn't sedated. If you need an MRI and they scare you or you are claustrophobic this is a place for you!

With her already having dementia, the higher dose made her combative with the staff not to mention loss of apatite(she is only 84 lbs.) She was discharged with a Dilantin level of 27.7 and it should of been 12 to 14, for her age and weight. This is dangerous, and it could of resulted in a seizure or left unchecked a coma. It is a good thing that I am diligent and have knowledge about this medication that I caught this, or the nursing home would of continued the higher dose. My advise is please question your doctor and do your research for yourself and your loved ones.
