A place where you're supposed to provide support to patients. Tuh! Staff member VICKY has the absolute worst attitude and customer service I've ever seen in at a clinic. She's rude and has a nasty disposition. She should not be in a position where she has to have direct contact with customers. I hope management can provide her with some training on how to communicate with people whose illnesses pay their bills. read more

My partner scheduled an appointment for last friday. He wasn't seen until maybe an hour to an hour and a half later. Then, whomever he was seen by, I believe a Toya, told him the symptoms he was having weren't enough for a diagnosis, so what did he "want to do". He was prescribed an antibiotic yet a day and a half later the pharmacy it was supposed to be sent to STILL hadn't received it. I called TWICE in that day and a half and she hadn't sent it. What was the point of going in if he just had to recover (which he still hasn't) on his own without the help of medication? We will never be back. read more

I have been here two times. The first time my doctor was very rude I wanted to cry because of the way she was talking to me and looking at me. The second time I got a different doctor she was very nice but I forgot where she sent my medicine so I tried to call to make sure and they hanged up on me twice as a person that need that medicine it kinda hurts to know that the staff isn't helpful and doesn't care if your properly taken care of just very unprofessional in my opinion especially for a place that is supposed to help you when you are sick. read more

I have been waiting for lab result for two weeks (even though they said 7-10 days). I was told that they would call into quest and then call me with the results and they still haven't. So I paid out of pocket for testing and treatment that I still haven't received. read more

Went to this clinic in January for regular yearly checkup. My health insurance was billed (and denied) an obesity program visit. Had to call relentlessly to get the billing corrected. Called YESTERDAY to get a prescription refill of a medicine I have been taking for years. Was told they would check with dr and call me back. No call back. Called this morning and was on hold 25 minutes only to be told they were waiting for Anastasia Yorkman the nurse practitioner to approve my prescription. They said they would call me back. As of 4pm no call. I called again only to have the receptionist get snotty with me, saying she was still waiting on approval. She PROMISED she would call me back but didn't. This clinic and Anastasia Yorkman have no concern for patients well being, only about billing maximum dollars. read more

Took my adult son there on 8/11/19 around 3 in the afternoon with severe abdominal pain and vomiting, the receptionist heard him and saw him and pain and requested not to fill out any papers that she wanted to speak to the doctor. The doctor came out in the reception area and he said he heard him vomiting and told me he needs a ultrasound, and that he could listen to bowel sounds and give anti-nausea meds and he needs to go to the er Thank you for your sound judgment on not treating him and the advice to go to the er His diagnosis was acute appendicitis, and had surgery that night Thank you again. read more

My mother went in yesterday around late morning for a mild condition and it will be her last. The fact that a receptionist can make or break someone experiance says a lot of a place. The nurse practioner who saw my mom was good and explained everything. The receptionist on the other hand was very rude and had absolutely no customer service skills and no people skills. A person like that should not be working in the healthcare field. Other issue we had was that we can "reserve" an appt online but they will still take people as they come in. When we asked the receptionist about it she was very short and said its company policy. Send that lady to costumer service training asap..Horrible experiance because of her. read more

Just like the previous lady having a problem with the billing...Now I just checked my website with ambetter saying this place is covered. Now I get a bill saying its not. My educated guess is they messed my info up just like the other lady. I'll find out during business hours however when I went on the weekend I was even charged extra for going on a weekend. HA what?!?!?!?! REALLY??? I'll wait next time. That's a 1st in my 38 years. Then I see Anastasia the nurse practitioner and was given some medicine. I'm not paying 80 something for just 1 cough medicine. Its not codeine or nothing. plus I had more but anyways, I called and the clinic WILL NOT look to see which insurance you have ( like Hammond clinic and the sliding clinic in east Chicago and everywhere else I've EVER gone, so when I called about getting a different med, hopefully a little less expensive, the pharmacy then tells me the 1 prescription is 200 dollars. I won't go there even if I'm dying. I might as well go to the hospital for this service. I just went back to the website saying my insurance is covered by this place, so try to look elsewhere if possible. read more

I scheduled a Covid test arrived early called to check in , was told they would call me when it was my turn . 2 hours later I called because numerous people went in and out, they forgot me . The receptionist admitted she forgot me . I was told my test results would be back in 2 days because I'm a healthcare worker... I've called 5 times in the last 24 hours and they aren't back yet. So here we are day 4 no results yet . I phoned them and guess what ? The manager Stacy who told me the lab picked my test up the evening of 11/12 after they close at 8pm and the lab would have had it on the morning of 11/13 lies to me ! The lab received it 11/15 ... what time I don't know . The extreme level of incompetence at this practice is mind blowing, how are these people still employed? Would I ever return ? NO!!!! Do I recommend anyone to visit ? NO!!! Do I expect my results sometime in the next month , probably not! read more
