A week passed and still no call. I show up in person and was told she was being seen by the dentist as a patient at the time and was not available. I was assured she would call me that day after her visit with the doctor, As you guessed she never called. I did notice a trend of no one in the waiting room during my visits, and no one in the rooms in the back as I passed them. I still had to wait a long time out front, and then a long time waiting in the dentist chair. Something is not right there and it's sad to see. I will be changing to a new dentist.

On July 8, 2024 I decided to change dental providers and contacted Dental Care at Woodland Crest. I spoke with Lucas who took down my information and said they would contact my former dental office for my records. He asked for the name phone number and email info of my former dentist, which I provided. On July 12, 2024 I contacted Dental Care again as I had not received any new patient info for the transfer. Once again I spoke with Lucas who informed me that they had not received the transfer papers but was going to call them when we were finished . During this call I asked Lucas if I could at least schedule an appt for a cleaning. He was pleasant and said, I've got you down for Mon 7/15 at 10:30. Uneasy about scheduling an appt prior to them getting my papers, I agreed to the appt. On 7/15/24 I arrived at the Dental Care office for my appt. Upon checking in I was informed it was 10:31 and my appt was at 10:30. I let that comment slide. However the discussion after that was less than professional, accusatory and very upsetting. The gentleman at the front desk informed me, "we don't have you in the system" and "we don't have any appt for you at 10:30", and "did I possibly call the wrong office". I explained to the desk person that I had spoken with Lucas twice, provided him with the same contact information twice, and told him that Lucas assured me he was following up. After talking with Lucas twice, how could someone ask if I called the wrong office?! I never received any new patient paperwork or phone call that there was a problem prior to the 7/15 appt. I was given paperwork to complete while the front desk person tried to "find" Lucas to get his side of the story. After speaking with Lucas, evidently the paperwork had not been received and they were calling for it, so they could "get me in". At that point I decided I did not wish to do business with this company. Unfortunately, I never met any of the providers so I cannot attest to the quality of service. So, I decided to leave. A BUSINESS MAY HAVE AN EXCEPTIONAL PRACTICE, BUT YOU WILL NEVER KNOW IF THE FRONT DESK STAFF IS A DETERRENT. He gave me paperwork to fill

When it was time to put the metal thing around my tooth it wouldn't stay so they would start drilling and it would pop off into my mouth and they would laugh about whose fault it was each time it happened-about 3. After the cavity was filled they were yanking to get the metal out from between my teeth and in doing so they gauged the outside of my cheek with the metal. I was bleeding and they said sorry and joked about how they normally try not to hurt their patients. As I was leaving I felt something in my mouth when I spit it out I found that it was a big piece of tooth that chipped off when they yanked the metal out. Never going back. Completely unprofessional this is not how going to the dentist should be like.

About a month ago I had an absolutely terrible experience here. At my last cleaning, the Dentist (Amy) spent all of 2 minutes with me and left me feeling like I had rotten teeth. She said there were these spots they are going to be watching and insisted I needed a filling between my molars all of a sudden. Then she proceeded to tell me that the hygienist can answer any questions I have and quickly left the room. Incredibly unprofessional and a terrible way to treat a patient.. I ended up going to a different dentist who has there own practice, for a second opinion. As soon as he seen the XRAYs, he smiled a little bit and immediately said, no I wouldn't touch it. He said, if he wouldn't do anything if it were his own teeth, he isn't going to do it on his patients. He also spent a good 15-20 minutes with me, looking at my teeth and explaining his opinion. Stating I have very nice teeth as I had always been told before. Which is kind of funny considering his office was far more busy but made it feel like he had all the time in the world to spend with me.. This dentist also doesn't use AI to do his job or to help meet corporate quotas like "All Smiles" does now. I would advise everyone to stay far away from this place unless you like getting your healthy teeth drilled on for no good reason. A lot has changed since this was Joann Martens practice. Not in a good way either. Yet they are still using reviews from when this was a private practice! Hopefully this review can help prevent others from getting unnecessary work done from this place. Also, if you plan on getting a second opinion just beware they are absolutely terrible about getting records transferred when requested. At first they tried to tell me I never sent them the request form back, then finally found it and sent it back when they had it for almost a month. It's a national chain and not a private practice anymore.. There are much better places to go!

She is absolutely wonderful, a true professional in all respects. She goes out of her way to make sure that I am comfortable and at ease which makes the appointment better for both of us. The Dentist chair is not somewhere that one automatically feels relaxed, yet with Dana I feel relaxed and do not have any fear of pain or discomfort.
