I can not say…read moreenough good things about Sara and Brent in helping to get us through the process of an estimate, making a claim, and repairing the damage. My daughter is in med school working a surgical rotation and her shift hours are before and after closing times of Gerber. We live 2 hours from Kalamazoo, so it made things challenging. Sara and Brent went above and beyond to help us. The repair was completed faster than expected and the car looks great. Another added convenience of choosing this shop for your vehicle needs is that there is an Enterprise rental location right across the street, which makes life even easier.

This was the ABSOLUTE WORST experience we have ever had with a body shop. We dropped our Honda CRV…read moreoff to be repaired due to a collision in July. We were informed that when the estimate was done that only part of the car was estimated and they didn't have the parts for the other side to be properly repaired so they were going to have to figure out what to do next and we would hear from them in 24 hours. We waited 48 hours and we never heard from them. When my husband reached out to find out what was going on. He was given the run around and they even went as far as blaming our insurance company who had stayed in constant communication with us about what was going on from their end. At this point we were paying for a rental car which it turns out we didn't need because the car was just sitting in the parking lot. They never called us to say we could come get the car while they figured things out with our insurance company. In the end, our car sat at the body shop for two weeks with no repairs being done to it and very little communication on what the holdup was. The day before our rental was to be returned we were told the proper estimates had finally been submitted to our insurance company and the car was being totaled out!!! Leaving my husband without a car to get back and forth to his job at WMU. We were out $600 for a rental car we didn't actually need and when we went to go clean out the car of the rest of his belongings we were informed his $400 stereo (which he had received as a gift) had mysteriously been stolen which no one seemed to notice this whole time while the vehicle sat on their property and had a surveillance camera pointing at it! We were told Tim Randall from Denooyer would be looking at security tapes to review what had happened and possibly give us a description of who might have stolen it or what had happened. When my husband called a few weeks later to check back after not hearing anything he was given more of a run around and told they reviewed the tapes for the wrong vehicle so he had to go through and check the security tapes again. It is now October and we still haven't heard a word from them about anything even after we filed a police report which was absolutely no help! So my recommendation is TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE!! They will not communicate with you properly and there is no personal accountability or responsibility for anything that happens on their property! Instead you may end up like us out $1,000, no vehicle, and no communication from anyone that works for this business. If I could give them 0 's I would have. Update: My husband had contact with Kevin in November and there has been no resolution. This whole ordeal took place between July and August of 2023. I truly don't feel like this is a priority for them to resolve because if it was they wouldn't have taken 8 months to do so. It's truly unacceptable to be treated this way or for a business to be unresponsive when it comes to their shady business practices. These people don't care about doing the right thing as a business or making their own mistakes right! This has become quite obvious to us throughout this whole ordeal as we have been told resolving this type of issue takes time. It takes more than 3 months for ownership to take responsibility and reimburse us for what we lost due to their negligence and lack of communication. I stand on what I said TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE!!!

Nobody should have to wait over 2 months for repair on their vehicle. Initially I was informed that…read moreit would be 2 to 3 weeks from the day I dropped it off, well, ....that turned into 4 to 6 weeks. After 2 months and an additional week, My 2024 Dodge Durango is finally completed. As I check in, the receptionist misinforms me that I owe the $1000 deductible of which I remind her that she said to me I wasn't responsible for after calling Progressive the day I drop it off. You may want to read notes before advising an already frustrated customer. Also , don't ask a customer to sign paperwork for a vehicle I haven't seen yet. I was finally given a rental car 2 weeks ago on the shops dime after asking for one due to the shops errors on my car due to the damage on my car wasn't assessed properly. Never again will I use a "Progressive Insurance " body shop provider. A serious bunch of waste of my time.... I dropped my car off October 27th and now picking it up December 31st... still waiting... after 5pm. Oh.....now an UPDATE... just now I'm told they can't get the liftgate to work due a programming issue and now I have to wait until the Chrysler Technician comes again to fix it... which won't be until Monday January 5th supposedly?!?!? I walk into the door entry way to wait and vent by myself and I'm told to wait outside as it's a place of business and my language isn't appropriate?!?.!!!! What do you expect from a customer Mitch when you tell them to come and pickup their car saying it will be ready and then arrive and find out it isnot ready?!?! And we talk outside and you have the audacity to try and gaslight light me by saying " I put pressure on you by calling frequently to get a status updates?.."" how is that my problem?!?? Dude I'm the customer... as I told you a few weeks ago just give me a date as to when it will be ready?? I would have not been happy if I was told not until January but I have the rental car and I could have dealt with it... the problem I had this evening was showing up this evening after being told to come and pickup my car. Don't work on a car while the customer is waiting. Don't give someone a date of pickup if you're still working on it. Everything was fine up until this evening. Don't tell me not to call you inquiring on MY OWN CAR! FIGURE OUT A BETTER WAY TO. HANDLE ISSUES BEFORE THEY HAPPEN. Don't try to appease a irratated customer and take the problem personal just handle it differently and let a customer know that it's done when it's done 100% PROPER PLANNING PREVENTS POOR PERFORMANCE and PREVENTS FURTHER CUSTOMER DISSATISFACTION The CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT AND WITHOUT HAPPY CUSTOMERS YOU WONT HAVE A BUSINESS I WANT THE OWER OF THIS PARTICULAR LOCATION TO CONTACT MR ASAP! To be continued... I'm not done yet... some compensation is taking place. I have more follow up that I'm going to do thoroughly on Caliber. Something really shady went on here and I was the victim of it as it appears that the general manager and service advisor are no longer here since corporate is now involved. I'm glad I waited to update this review. I had to follow up once I realized that the Durango decals were missing. Now, A few weeks ago on a warm spring day I took my Durango to the Milwood car wash and my son pointed out to me water leaking in the rear. I also discovered that my hatch wasn't closing properly, and a seal on top was coming off due to improperly sealed. I called the regional manager again...yep..: again.... So, they got me another rental car so they can work on it.. again.... This time a 15 year veteran technician supposedly. I picked it up today.. 2 days later... they discovered water below the storage unit in the hatch after the took it apart. Mort said they cleaned out good and dried it. However, after I got home my car wasn't unlocking using the passive entry. I couldn't figure out why I had to manually unlock the door with my remote. So I YouTubed it and learned that the passive entry wasn't connected in the back. So again they left another unresolved issue that thankfully could figure out on my own but THE AVERAGE CUSTOMER WOULD HAVE BEEN SCREWED AGAIN!! DON't EVER GO TO A CALIBER COLLISION SHOP!!!! THEY SUCK!!!!! PERIOD!
