I went for a mammogram on May 29, Friday. The Lady doing the mammograms that morning was very unprofessional, she had wavy, a little longer than shoulder length hair, white skin blondish hair. She was a little too comfortable with her hands touching and overstepping limits when it comes to positioning breasts on the mammogram machine. She was like an octopus. I understand that a mammogram requires some physical contact, but she was way too close for comfort and her way of grabbing breasts was more like stroking then positioning on the machine. This definitely was sexual misconduct and is unacceptable and excessive. I have had plenty of mammograms and have never experienced this type of behavior which is inappropriate. read more

Very quick and nice. Staff is friendly. Had results in a matter of hours. What knocked down the review is that the tech put in I take calcium and vitamin d supplements when I don't. She asked twice and I said no both times. read more

I have been coming here for many years and am always treated with the most respect and kindness from the front desk at check-in to my departure, this place is so great. Sherri is an amazing tech and is always very gentle and sweet with me, making a pretty uncomfortable situation so much more bearable and making me at ease with the imaging. This place is very clean and not crowded at all. The staff was super friendly. Receptionist was really nice and pleasant. Nurse Dora is very compassionate. She explained everything in detail for my mother and I. She even came out to let me know that they were finishing up with my mom's procedure. I have always had a wonderful experience here. I have been going here for my yearly mammogram for over 10 years and it's always professional and efficient. One question I have though is they have aerosol antiperspirant and deodorant in the imaging rooms for after your mammogram since you aren't supposed to wear deodorant to the APPOINTMENT I'm confused because everything. I read says that aerosol and antiperspirant are leading causes of cancer. Why would they offer this if medical records state it's cancer causing????? read more

I asked to be notified when the results where send to my doctor. They told me they could not do that. How is that possible? I was told the results where going to be sent to my doctor during the morning but it was never done, I had to call in the afternoon to followup and of course they had not been sent. I would like the office to be aware of the poor customer service I experienced recently. I was referred here by My oral surgeon for a CT Scan due to a dense mass spotted on my radiograph. My appointment was on 9/18/14. During intake, I asked the intake employee and the CT tech individually do I get copies of anything done today. I was told flat out no, that everything would be sent directly to my Dr and he would have within 48 hrs. My Dr received the written report, but never the CT scan. I called MCI, they told me that they did not send the actual scan because my Dr isn't on "the list". My dr isn't on the list, yet he referred me to you for a 4k cat scan. I asked if they could email it to him, I was told no, that it's against Hippa but they sent the written? They would only release to me in person, couldn't give me an answer why i wasn't given my cd the day I had the scan done or told me I had to come back. I left work early in order to get there, now my dr is off the next 2 days & treatment is delayed because he didn't have the CT the day he received the written and this is needed for the insurance estimate!!! Shame on the employees at this place, no remorse, poor customer service . If my dr didn't get the visual scan and you didn't give it to me initially, how did you think we would come to a medical conclusion? When a $4k service is being paid for, you need to get employees that understand the fundamentals of accommodation. If there is ANY negative impact from the delay related to this, you will be reading something much more official. You lost a patient and a customer this week. read more

I have been here multiple times for different procedures over the last 5 years. They have always been very nice -- with the occasional exception of front office staff. But all of the nurses and techs have been amazing. They make you feel very comfortable. One nurse was so incredible --- I was very pregnant yet needed a MRI. Because I was all prego-emotional I panicked at the last minute. She walked me to the MRI and helped me get situated and comfortable. Then left as normal for the MRI tech to start. What I didn't realize is she went into the booth with the tech. So when a couple minutes into the actual MRI I started getting panicked again -- she came into the MRI room to calm me down and hold my hand. Care doesn't come better than that!!! She went way beyond what was required and probably even allowed to help me - a total stranger. read more

We retired to Arizona and today I'm feeling nostalgic. How a woman can feel nostalgic when going for a mammogram may be beyond some, but for years I went to Midwest and I tell the women out here how beautiful it was, almost like going to a spa. Beautiful decor, the private little dressing room with the luxurious robe to put on, a sink with lovely fluffy towels and antiperspirants to use after your exam. The staff while very professional were so kind and friendly. I sure miss you and wish I could have taken you with me. read more

I've been to this facility multiple times and it is top rate. I can also tell you it is nicer, cleaner and more professional in every detail than any hospital screening center I have been to. I suggest this facility for mammograms ( I agree with the earlier reviewer, very nice decor and luxury feel) I also got same day results with my baseline mammogram here. I also highly recommend their MRI services. I have had several MRI's locally at Rush Copley and downtown at Northwestern and I can tell you this facility is by far THE BEST. Ask for the Fiji Room when scheduling your MRI. Not only does it look like a tropical resort it actually has natural light streaming in and a calm feeling. It is an open MRI so you dont get the claustraphobia feeling. They even give you headphones and let you bring in your ipod which they hook up in the control room so you can listen to your own music or a book on tape while you get your scan done. The best part? This place SAVES you money. With my insurance I do not have to pay a facility fee to have tests done, which I do if I go to the hospital. No hassle appointment making, no hassle parking, beautiful decor and a super clean and professional facility...why even consider a hospital center for imaging. This place impresses me over and over again and I am a loyal patient. read more

I had an abdominal ultrasound done here, as I was referred by my general practitioner. The actual place is nice and technician did a nice job, but just beware to call your insurance company first, even if referred. They will take your insurance information multiple times and still see you, without telling you they do not have a contract with your insurance. After asking on my initial call if they could quote me a price, the lady on the phone advised she wasn't sure, because it has to go through insurance. So I booked and gave her my full insurance information. She said nothing! Again at the appointment the young lady at the desk asks for my insurance. I gave to her, she entered, and she said nothing! When I get the bill, it turns out they do not even take my insurance. So the bill is over two thousand dollars for a procedure that should have been under $200. The billing department at Copley did offer to lower it to $1500 but obviously that is still not comparable to $200. I can't believe they would take my insurance information twice and say nothing. My OB/Gyn recommended this place after I complained to her about the bad experience I had with a mammogram at a local hospital. Now, I would never go anywhere else but here! They have always been very prompt. Today I had a 12:30 appointment and was walking out the door at 12:55! The staff is friendly, gentle, and treat you as they would treat a guest. The waiting rooms feel like expensive parlors, and the little room where you undress is like a small boudoir with gilded mirror, 2 chairs, sink and towels. AND it is secure - you can leave your purse & belongings here with no worries. No more keyed lockers, hospital gowns, and curtained cubicles! The place is always very clean and luxuriously furnished. I always feel pampered when I go here. read more

Facility is nice but they were bought out by the notorious Rush Copley. They billed my insurance $4,000!!! for an MRI the national average for an MRI is about $2,000.00. I get stuck with a $400.00 bill even with my superb top of the line BCBS insurance. I called BCBS and they told me it is one of the highest billings for that procedure they have ever seen! Unfortunately just like the crappy hospital this place now sucks. I will never ever go here again! read more

Worst, slowest, horrible service ever!!! I had an appointment for 8:30am to do a couple of tests and left the building at 10:15am almost 2 hours later. The first test went pretty fast and then I sat in a room for over 30 mins waiting to do the next test. The Ultra sound Tech was the rudest person on earth. If you have a choice go somewhere else!! With all the press about how classy this place is, I was very disappointed. First, I called to schedule the appointment. I was told that they had Saturday appointments. I thought, perfect cause I work 70-80 hours a week and can't get in M-F. Well, I called and they told me that because mine was a diagnostic mammogram, I couldn't come on Saturday because I would have to talk with the doctor. So I had to schedule someone at my business to fill in for me (costing me money) so that I could get this done. I was told they were flexible, but I didn't find that. The only times they could take me were in the morning - not over lunch time when I wouldn't have to have someone fill in for me. So I schedule during a slower day, but still have to pay someone to do my job. So I get there 10 minutes early as requested to "check-in". I walked in and was impressed with how classy it is, but my first thought is how much extra do they charge for these digs? They tell me to have a seat and someone will be with me shortly. Well 20 minutes later (after said appointment time), they are checking me in. I ask how long will it be and they tell me just a few minutes. Well, over an hour later, they are finally having me move to another waiting room. What - another room, not the procedure? So I wait some more. 20 minutes later, they call my name and put me in a private waiting room and hand me a flimsy robe and tell me to put it on and have a seat. By this time I'm fuming because I've been waiting an hour and 40 minutes. So when she hands me the robe, I ask again and she says it will be 20-30 minutes. I told her that I could not wait any longer and that either they get me in immediately or let me get back to work now that you've wasted so much of my time. So now all of a sudden because I made mention of it, they get me in within 5 minutes. When they get done with the procedure (which hurt like H _ _ _ by the way), they tell me I have to have an ultrasound too and that person would be another 30 minutes. Again, I tell them I cannot wait any longer because it's now been nearly 2 hours that I've spent there. Again, since I mention it, they can suddenly get me in within 5 minutes. They finish the ultrasound, which also hurt and tell me that I can clean up, but don't get dressed yet because the doctor has to look at the results to see if anything else needs to be done. Again I wait. Another 15 minutes go by and I get dressed, and tell them I'm done. Over 2 hours by this point. The doctor spent all of 1 minute with me, which is the main reason they say that I HAD to come in Mon-Fri and Sat was not available. I get the reports saying there's nothing wrong, but frankly if they had looked at the current mammogram and the diagnostic mammogram from 2 years ago, they could have told me the same thing. However, instead of doing something that made sense, they waste over 2 hours of my time in which I have to pay someone to fill in for me. Now, I get a bill. So NOW I know how much those digs cost. There is no way I would ever go to this place again. It looks super cool, but their costs are really expensive, they make you wait literally hours without so much as an apology and now I see their charges are probably 5 times what anyone else would have been. PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE. It is not worth your time or your money. read more

Had very good experience here. Mass showed on mammogram and they did ultrasound right away. Biopsy was recommended and they were able to make an appointment for it in only two days. Procedure went smoothy, Dr. Palmer, while young, is quite competent. I got results back the next day! Thank goodness everything okay. Worst experience ever!! This place used to be great, but now it's terrible. Now that Dr. Roy is gone, the doctors no longer have any time to review findings with patients, the office runs slow like a hospital (my appointment ran an hour longer then it should have, and no one cared to ask how i was), and the quality of the reports has gone completely away, not to mention that the prices have more then doubled in the past year or so. Avoid this place if you care at all about getting a proper diagnosis for a fair price. read more

I had to get an ultrasound this week... Service Was ok ...the technician had this frown look during the procedure which doesn't give you much to smile about. Need the technicians to have a smile and personality ..... The facility is large, clean and quiet. People don't like going in for any type of imaging as we await the unknown test results, so a little bit of social upbeat conversation would be great too... A smile also is important on how you rub off to others ... It goes a long way. read more

I had a diagnostic mammogram and MRI after learning that my sister was just diagnosed with breast cancer. Dr. Palmer found an enhancement on the MRI and asked me to return for an ultrasound. It read it as showing two masses "highly suggestive of carcinoma" but tactfully told me he would not speculate whether they were malignant or benign. The surgeon felt there was an 80% chance they were benign. Dr. Palmer performed a core biopsy and was skillfully able to get tissue from both masses by using the same point of insertion. The results proved his initial reading correct, and I underwent a lumpectomy and radiation. The final pathology report proved his measurements of the tumors to be off my only one millimeter in each tumor. My cancer was invasive lobular carcinoma, which is normally found at a much later stage because they are so hard to detect. I am lucky and very grateful to the expertise of Dr. Palmer, who found my cancer when it was only stage one. read more
