Cannot recommend buying from this business. I placed an order during the morning of 1/27 and,…read moreaccording to its website, my order should have shipped that day (order was placed prior to 1:00 p.m.). After Crystal House took payment for the item, it had no further communication with me and still has not shipped my order. I have sent two different emails to its customer service inquiring about the status of shipping and both have received no response. So, this company can't wait to take your money to only then completely ghost you, refuse to ship your order, refuse to answer your calls and emails and refuse to do anything, however minimal, to cure its breach of the sales agreement

I am beyond thrilled with my experience with Crystal House! I had 3 Waterford pieces, (a Celtic…read moreCross, a baby bootie and a Teddy Bear Clock) which were chipped around the edges and was in need of finding a reputable business with skilled artisans to repair. These beautiful pieces were given to my son over 37 years ago from his grandparents and now, he is having a baby of his own. Since he is very sentimental, I decided to have them repaired vs buying new ones. I was fortunate to have found Crystal House. Chaz and Elias were wonderful to deal with and went above and beyond to have these returned to me prior to the baby shower. Elias, the craftsman, did an incredible job to return them to their original beauty! Thank you both! You have made MANY people very happy with the service you provided - we are very grateful!

Patty is extremely unprofessional and rude. We have worked with her over the past year and the…read morequality is not up to par nor consistent. We would often be missing items, receive double of an item we did not ask for, and plates would come scratched and damaged. Screw holes were never in the same place, font would be off center, and the pricing is way too high compared to other places nearby. She never keeps a log of when items are paid for, only when the order was placed, so it made our bookkeeping a nightmarish experience I will be happy to be done with. It turns out Jim Henry Inc. is an 80 year old business which provides frames, certificates, and…read morewhat I'll call trinklets (small plaques and trophies, medallions, pins, pendants, etc) mostly for the medical profession.  I ordered a gift frame for my son's medical board certificate and being sorta in the Chicagoland neighborhood and to save $19 in shipping cost, I queried and was amicably agreed a physical pickup in lieu of shipping.  After just a few days' wait for the frame prep, I also got to meet Chris McClurg, the friendly president of the company who while presenting my purchase also gave me a little tour of their office and product displays.  They are located in a quaint industrial section of St. Charles and near the DuPage airport.  They have customers from all over the world.  I made an observation that businesses like Jim Henry have longevity by finding a solid niche and with theirs being mostly (but not exclusively) associated with the medical profession.  I noticed how all of the son's celebrated milestones (diplomas, degrees, certifications, etc) came with different sized certificates and each had their own preferred frame supplier - what a racquet I thought!  Anyway, this was most certainly a one time visit, but I mentioned to Chris that because he had a Yelp listing with no info nor reviews, I would oblige him with a written thank you and a little PR, and here it is!
