Chicken fried steak yum!
Cathy P.

Great for breakfast too!! Now I need to go for dinner! I had over easy eggs with corn beef hash. My friend had the fried pork chops and I think I'll have to try that next time! The wait staff are awesome, and the food is always good. Can't go wrong here.

We have eaten here for years. Always enjoyed the country cooking, from an independent business. We like FARM FRESH! And normally found it here at reasonable prices. Today the food was just so so but the room was very warm, admittedly it was a HOT DAY! We were told the air conditioning was not working properly, The tables were all packed as usual. I assume it still has the same owner and staff on hand. Everyone there have always been very attentive in the past. I'm sure the heat was hard on the servers as well! Perhaps they needed to get a repairman or some fans. We decided to wait for cooler fall weather before our next stop back in. Don't count them out! We have had WONDERFUL meals here in the past!

Good food but service was VERY slow. Took 35 minutes to get our food. We were here for breakfast. The sausage is yummy and spicy. Gravy is very good. Biscuit delicious. Pork tenderloin over cooked. Syrup for the French toast was cold. Can't completely recommend due to the slow service.

Fresh butter "taste" - 48% vegetable oil taste. Come get some!

For me great food and prices. Short on staff but have to blame government paying people more to stay home. Still not a very long wait.

I love the Meal House - great breakfast spot! Been in Cumming forever. They serve up good "Home Cooked" meals in a nice southern atmosphere.

They have the best yeast rolls outside the Perimeter. They serve up very generous portions.

Great. Reliable and consistent.wish they would expand closer to Roswell. If there is a similar type restaurant in Roswell, I'd like to know.

My rating is for delivered by a client review to our office. Dude brought them as a thanks or…read moresomething & the receptionist took them to the breakroom. Unfortunately I have no idea the names of the flavors, but they were WARM & BEAUTIFUL!! Most of us cut pcs off b/c none of us need a whole one, lol. Some folks said they didn't love the texture- compared them to Duncan Donuts, but I can tell you they were really only comparable to 1 Duncan donut, but for the life of me I have NO idea what it's called. The one I tried wasn't cake, nore was it melt-soft like Krispy. It has a sort of fried chew that, to me, is just what I love! Not sweet either. A nice balance of fried, chew, sweet & the glaze was a nice flavor. I will crave this, which is why I looked them up right away & snapped pics to remind me where to go. I also think it's smart to put the individual donuts on the liners so glazes don't mess up the box. Very pretty!! Try them out-

Love this place, BUT...! Come with the kids almost every Saturday morning. The only complaint is…read morethat a cup of milk for the kids went up to $5. And the cup of milk has ice. Guys, $5 for a splash of milk is a bit, um, excessive imo . They said the kids milk went away with a new menu, maybe you guys just forgot to put it back on. Blooms is our favorite donut shop no matter how much the milk costs, though! Everyone should try them.

What once was a good place to eat, has become mediocre…read more We've lived in the area for 7+ years and have eaten at 7 Acres many times on our own, or with friends and family. Last night may very well be the last time. My wife ordered the trout with fingerling potatoes and an arugula salad, and I had the special - Blackened snapper with what was described as creamy risotto and charred broccolini. The snapper made it to the plate, but the risotto was a big gloppy mess that looked more like a pile of instant mashed potatoes. Gordon Ramsey would not have thrown it across the room only because it would have probably stuck to his hand on the release. What should have been broccolini were thin, overcooked wisps of asparagus. I pointed the risotto out to the waiter, and he ran off to tell the chef. Meanwhile I ate what was left and decided not to complain any further... But wait, there's more! When the server returns, he explains that the risotto is premade and any subsequent portions would be the same. P R E M A D E! Any restaurant premaking risotto needs to be shut down, or never allowed to say the word risotto ever again. He offered a substitute so I ordered the fingerling potatoes. Off the server goes to get them. Meanwhile, my wife politely turns to me and says, "I didn't want to say anything, but this trout is flavorless". Then less than two minutes later she bites into some fingerling potatoes and chips a filling on a stone. I wish that this was the end of the saga. Our server returns with the fingerling potatoes and says "I comped these for you". Excuse me? That's when I decide to clue him in... Mind you I only told him of the other issues with my dish because my wife didn't want to say anything about hers - she just wanted to get out of there. When the check arrives, I'm expecting the manager to come over and apologize. I'm also assuming that beside the comped, unseasoned fingerling potatoes, my entree would be discounted or comped entirely. Nope. Just my server with a smile and a "to go" box of broccolini - I'm assuming this was some sort of apology. They ended up in the trash at home. I will say that my server was a pleasant young man, and I'm assuming that this is his first job waiting tables. I started by saying that this could be the last time we eat at 7 Acres. I'm waiting to see if the manager/owner sees this review and reaches out. I can't believe they would condone this quality of food or attitude towards customers.

They just reopened last weekend and morning lines have been out the door! People complained about location, lack of signage and parking lot limitations, but they have sold out every day so clearly people have found them. I had to see what the hype was and I must say, I was pleasantly surprised. The space is small so only serves carry-out. I guess they decided to dedicate all their space to the carbs, and given the trade off, I think they made the right decision. The bagels are fresh, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Big on size. Bigger on flavor. They offer traditional flavors you would expect from a New York inspired bagelry. I opted for plain, cinnamon raisin and of course, an Everything. They also have breakfast and lunch offerings. I decided to grab an egg salad BLT wrap and again, was not disappointed in my selection. The serving size allowed me to save half for later. The little cup of macaroni salad and a pickle wedge rounded out the meal nicely.

EXTREMELY disappointed. Paid over $11 for the Wednesday soup special which was supposed to be a…read morejalapeno grilled cheese sandwich and butternut squash soup. Ended up getting a plain grilled cheese that wasn't even grilled and a cold chicken soup. Will not be back.
