Midtown was the second service I called for an estimate. It came in right about where I thought it would. They came on the appointed day and took care of business. I was pleased. The first place I called bid nearly three times higher and said it would take two day.s. They got it all done in around 4 hrs. We had a pecan tree damaged during the ice storm. Midtown trimmed it and removed a catalpa tree years ago. They met the estimate and did quality work. Nice cleanup. This week we had another need to tree trimming of the pecan, redbud and magnolia trees. They did a great job in few hours. Very pleasant to work with. Had a great experience. Fair quote (I got three) and they did a good job. Fast and efficient. BIG tree came down, stump ground, debris ALL removed. They put wood down so their machine wouldn't dig grooves in my yard. The tree was between two houses and surrounded by 4 power lines. Professional and I would definitely use them again. read more

Overall, great service (cut down 2 trees, cleaned up the fence line with all the other trees growing into our yard, cleaned up debris from all the storms we've had this spring, and had a grinder come out, who also did well!). We recently used this company to remove some trees from our daughter's yard. Very disappointing and upsetting experience!! After the initial visit and picking out the trees that needed to be removed , on the day of the removal they removed a 100 years old beautiful tree from the front yard instead of the dead one! Then in the back yard they also removed the wrong tree and left the one that was supposed to be removed there! They proceeded to collect the whole payment and did not return our calls for days!!! Finally a very rude secretary calls back and starts shouting that it's not their fault according to some text message!! No professional should ever cut down any trees without marking them at the time of visit so this kind of disaster doesn't happen. This shows the level of unprofessionalism and poor business ethics. they did not offer any compensation or remorse and did not at least offer to replace the one in the front with some other tree! Don't waste your money with a company that is so unprofessional and has no care for the customer or their property. read more

While the actual tree removal was done according to what they said, their process and equipment destroyed our backyard. They left without fully cleaning up all of their debris and putting back things they moved. As soon as the crew was "finished" I was asked for payment, which I provided, but I had to ask them to come back and finish putting things back and cleaning up. They did a rush, hash job of that, so much so there are bald spots, divots, and complete sections where they tore out our grass. Wood chips are everywhere. To sum it all up, they did a rush job, didn't fully clean up and then to top it off deposited my payment on the same day. If you want a tree removed with damage to your yard, call them. If you want your yard respected, don't. read more

My condominiums hired these guys to come out and remove a tree from infront of my condominium with no warning/notice by them or my condominiums, they took down an entire tree infront of my condominium with zero warning and no notice that they were taking down the whole tree, they then dropped an entire tree branch onto my car dealing $12,000 worth of damages totaling my car that I am still making payments on, all happening while i am on parental leave 2 weeks after my newborn son was born. They then told me that they knocked on my door 3 times when they had not, and one of the workers said it was my fault for not answering the door, my entire family was awake the entire day and not one of us heard them knock once or ring our doorbell. So if your apartments/condominiums hire these guys and give you no notice of what is happening you better listen for your door or else they will drop a tree on top of your car. On top of all that they left my surrounding area a complete mess and i am now struggling with major anxiety, depression and having major difficulty sleeping, affecting me and my family. read more

I called around and received several quotes from other tree services and Midtown Tree Service had the best prices for what I needed done. I had a old Black Elm that was rotting and it was very close to my house and my neighbor's house. As difficult of a job it was, they did an amazing job. No damage was done to either house and after they finished you can barely tell there was ever a tree there. They arrived on time and were very professional. I'd definitely recommend them to others and will be calling them again should I need more trees cut down. read more

got ripped off from this company! neighbors tree limb and more fell in my yard. he saw the damage said tree need to be cut down 900 dollars told him i cannot cut my neighbors tree without per misssion how much to just cut limb and alot of the skinny ones he said 900.00 lol so asked him to cut a thick limb for 100 paid total 1000.00 he was suppose to cut limbs back to the property liine my fence saw it was still hanging over didnt do the job right son was mad asked him to come back take 10 mins to finish it he said yes never came back the next day! they didnt haul off the cut limbs or two piles said let the city do it. two tree services said that this company over charged me by 4-500.00 dollars taking advantage of ppl who need trees removed because of the storm. over charged, botched job, not haul off lol never again! he lost my business for sure! he didnt look like he knew how to price trees in the first place. think he comes up with a figure if you can afford and if you are female tries to get over on you, you were warned rip offs! read more

Outstanding tree work exceeded expectations. Three trees removed with stumps grinding, several large trees trimmed to protect the roof and windows as well as power/phone lines - work and thorough clean up accomplished in half a day. We got a very fair price and everything went off without a hitch, as promised. Seven man crew was hard working, quick and very friendly. Got a couple of competitive quotes for cleaning up the dead wood on a half dozen very tall trees. Midtown's quote was very reasonable and is the one I chose. They did terrific work, getting rid of dead limbs and branches at some very high heights! Bill and his crew checked with me to make sure that I was happy with all of the work. I did point out a few stray limbs more that I felt needed to be cut, and they got back up and took care of it without any fuss.
