This has to have been the rudest most unprofessional doctor I have ever met. He won't answer a direct question with a direct answer. You wait 40 minutes, put in a room to wait for him to come in. He opens the door, no hello how are you, and barks come with me. In the other room he sits facing the computer as if it is the patient, never makes eye contact, rushes, doesn't educate the slightest bit. I can't imagine what made him treat us so poorly. His answer to the question "what kind of fiber should be taken" was "any kind they are all the same". When I asked in return should it be soluble or insoluble he became angry and said said "you tell me doctor". He simply could have answered the question or educated the patient but he chose out right rudeness and unprofessionalism. I pray that this doctor who overbooks, rushes and has no patience for patient questions does not make a mistake that alters the course of someone's life. If you feel that kindness and compassion matters when choosing a doctor look else where. read more

All the bad reviews are spot on. The only reason I visited this practice was because my trusted doctor referred me. However, the experience has made me question everything. I went in for banding to treat a hemorrhoid, and the initial plan was to have three procedures done. But by the second procedure, Dr. Wazazz seemed completely unaware of my identity and had to ask which procedure we were on. He didn't even glance at my chart and kept asking which procedure this was. It was our fourth session, not the third, and I'm not sure what he did during that extra procedure. If there was any progress, it's been undone, as I've been bleeding for weeks. The whole experience felt disorganized, which made me incredibly nervous. I found it odd that he wanted me to continue with more procedures, and it feels like a money grab, especially since the treatment isn't working. This is aside from the fact that Dr. Wazazz had zero bedside manner and showed no respect for my privacy. I'd be undressed, and he'd open the door, allowing nurses in the waiting area to see directly into the room - completely unprofessional. The front desk staff consistently made booking errors, canceled appointments at the last minute without explanation or apology, and didn't provide any way to confirm whether my appointment was canceled. I'd show up the next morning, and they'd act like nothing happened. It was absurd. There's a clear lack of professionalism in this office. If I could give this practice a zero star I would. I was referred to this place by my general doctor. I got to see Dr. Madhavi Bhoomagoud & while trying to explain my symptoms NOT only was she not paying attention but was dismissive and of course her bedside manners are lacking. The entire consultation took no more than 10 minutes...did not take her time to talk to me, prescribed some pills for cramps which is NOT the pain that I'm experiencing...completely the opposite...because I never told her my pain feels like cramping. I felt like I was being rushed out of the appointment like a cow. Then I get to the reception desk thinking I'm making a follow up appointment & come to find out, is for a colonoscopy procedure that this doctor did not consult with me. As for the young lady that was making the appointment she gave me the first date that I could not do, then the second date neither & when I asked her to see for another date, I could see her face of displeasure & aggravation because she had to do a bit more work. As for the Doctor, she obviously failed her course of bedside manner, listening skills, and her overall airs of entitlement is really disappointing. Save your money & I wish I had looked at the reviews. I would had not wasted my valuable time with a medical practice that is out to just make money & don't care about the wellbeing of their patients. I am NEVER EVER going back to this place. I was referred to Dr. Wazaz a year ago for nausea and vomiting that persisted for two years despite multiple endoscopies from another GI . He performed another endoscopy and colonoscopy but found nothing. He prescribed a medication to take four times a day, but it didn't help. After him insisting me to take it for six months and fighting to get tested for the problem he's prescribing the med for, the gastric emptying test was negative. He then suggested an acid reducer. During my last visit, I waited an hour only for him to ask for name and say so what your a little constipated? Which was not correct at all. It And kept asking and assuming my symptoms were related to being female, dismissing my severe nausea and pain. He has done that several times. I understand he can't remember everyone, but read my chart. I insisted on him explaining to me what was going on, and his theory of a diagnosis, but he just wanted to increase my medication dosageand end the appointment within 2 minutes. He has poor bedside manner, is rude, and doesn't listen. He told me what he thinks it is, which he said was a nondiagnosis. I asked him to explain, and his suggestion to "look it up" online it'll explain everything instead of explaining my diagnosis was the last straw. I'm done. The staff was quite pleasant and accommodating, but that's where it ends. I went for a consultation meeting with Dr Wazaz ahead of an upcoming colonoscopy that was recommended by my primary physician. I wish I read the reviews prior to this meeting as I could have saved myself a $70.00 co-pay fee. As others have expressed, Dr Wazaz is course, condescending, rude, and lacks any scrap of personality. If you want to be treated like you're being checked in for a long term prison sentence, he's your guy. If you are more comfortable with a doctor who you can relate to, talk freely with, and obtain a level of comfort and trust... I would suggest you move on. read more

I saw the female dr today don't know her name bc she didn't tell me. I went for a consult bc I'm having GI issues and I'm not able to eat much and feel sick and it has been going on for a while. She completely body shamed me. She judged me by my weight. I know I need to lose a little bit but she brought up gastric bypass 4 times. She asked if I was using Ozempic and she asked if I was able to walk 20 min straight. 1. I use the stair master daily. 2. I'm not an invalid. She wouldn't give me time to tell her my symptoms bc she was wrapped up with my weight. Very unprofessional. No bed side manners. read more

I'm 47 years old. I have spoken with plenty of Dr.'s and have not met one in my entire life that was as rude and incompetent as this jackass. He treated my father. He performed procedures on him that he was specifically told by several people ahead of time (including my father) NOT to perform. He did it anyway, without consent, actually, with a directive to NOT do it, yet he did, and he collected the insurance money, and the procedure caused my father so much pain that he could not have a cancer biopsy done for 6 months following. When I spoke to him about this (which took several weeks despite calling his office repeatedly), he was unapologetic, unsympathetic, completely rude, and if I'm being honest, a complete asshole of a human being. I will add to this later, but for now, please stay away from him. We are in the midst of a Medical Abuse lawsuit. My father is dying because of his negligence and he/Midstate basically told us all to eff off. His license should be revoked, and he has been reported to the DPH/CT. read more

WARNING! Dr. Wazaz is a money making scam artist. DO NOT TRUST WHAT THIS OFFICE SAYS ABOUT PRICING or ABOUT WHAT PROCEDURES YOU NEED DONE. Dr. Wazaz is not interested in listening to his patients or looking out for their best interest, but only in doing as many money making procedures as will benefit his wallet. I am self pay, his office made me pay $800 up front - cash - to have procedures done. They then quoted me incorrectly to do a colo and endo. They way underpriced, so that I would do them. It is a good thing I checked with the endoscopy center (who mentioned, by the way, that his office does this all the time!) I then cut my procedure down to just an endo, with the understanding that was all I was having done. NOPE! 2 weeks later I receive a bill for $2,400 for FOUR biopsies done, that I had no knowledge of him doing. He never mentioned that he would be doing them, nothing. And now I am stuck paying $2,400! Numerous calls to his office - billing manager Darlene - don't get returned. This is just a terrible way to run a medical practice. I knew I should have listened to all the bad reviews, but he came highly recommended by another MD, whom I respect. This time I was wrong. PLEASE, the bad reviews are true. Go further down the State to the New Haven area. Find a G.I. who really cares and run from this doctor. Had a colonoscopy scheduled by Dr. Jung's office - Midstate called me to confirm - Did the prep and went to Midstate and was informed that the Dr wasn't in that day. The doctors office claimed they called several times and left a voice message. I had no missed calls and the voice mail didn't hit my phone until 6 days later. They never bothered to make sure they actually spoke to me and they did not notify Midstate that it was cancelled either. They even called to follow up on my procedure, a procedure that they claimed to have cancelled. Very unprofessional - I would not recommend this provider. read more
