The dog park has ample parking for your car and friend when taking them here. Almost all of the times I been here, there were really only 3 or 4 other people here. The park has clean restrooms onsite also with a water fountain. There are 2 large dog parks for large dogs as well as 2 large parks for the small fellows as well. All 4 parks are covered with green luscious grass and just about a tree every 5 feet you walk. So please don't worry about not having shade because you're literally surrounded by the best shade there possibly is and the great open outdoors. All the parks have benches to sit at, as well as cement bricks for resting. There are multiple water fountains in each park, disbursing water from the bottom for your friend as well. They also have doggie bags and trash cans inside the parks too! Every time I been here, all the dogs seemed properly behaved, and they definitely knew how to chase and play. I really enjoyed taking my best friend here and getting her all worked up outside and having fun while socializing with other companions. I'll definitely be back and become a regular here because Wooo Hooo, this is as good as it gets!

There are two separate areas for small dogs and two separate areas for large dogs And both areas are quite large. With several benches and live oak tree trees for some nice shade. They have water fountains within each park area for the humans and the dogs, which is quite convenient.

I have a German Shepherd, a Doberman and a Puggle. I take all of them to the big dog side and have never had any issues. People are always so friendly, it's a ginormous park with some agility equipment towards the back, 2 water stations, It's pretty clean so you don't have to constantly look where you're walking for land mines - nice! Plenty of seating so it accommodates a lot of people without feeling crowded. Covered picnic tables, benches under the trees and along the fence lines. They always leave there totally exhausted which is why I take them to begin with. Like everywhere else it does get and stays muddy after a good rain storm but they do have a wash off station right outside of the gate so bring a towel, it's nothing fancy for sure but it does the job. I did see a couple of scuffles but like all good parents they immediately separated them and then they saw the aggressor and his daddy took him home for a time out. Okay, the only reason for the 4 star- a random guy commented on my dogs and when I asked him which dog was his he said he didn't have one, he just liked to come and watch everyone else's. I was getting ready to leave soon anyway so it just kicked me into high gear. It just seemed off, maybe he really liked dogs and I read too much into it????

Crockett Dog Park…read more The Westminster of SouthEast Dallas. In all the time I've lived in Southeast Dallas I never ventured far enough to see this serene oasis. The dogs that come to this area are well-kept and cared for. The park is laid out in a Star surrounded by some of the Grandest-HISTORIC-Oaks in East Dallas, it reminds me of living in the Colorado Mountains of Telluride, but for Texas. I recall an article years ago in D Magazine, it described Central Market on Lovers Lane, an unexpected place to find a date. Crockett Dog Park is this for East Dallas and Dog Parks. You will meet everyone from Nurses, Special Ops and Veterans, thank you for your service, I pray the VA is being righteous to you all these days, Chefs, Hairdressers, Florists and Civil Servants. The people here are quite the conversationalist, probably because, they are all conspiring together to care for GOD'S Four Legged Creatures, World Peace and how to live more RIGHTEOUSLY Missing here are perhaps, Hollywood Feed Food Truck, Margaritas, Jimmy Buffet and Bob Marley, Farmers Markets and Vintage Road Shows, Marriage Proposals and Weddings. If you find yourself in East Dallas seek this place out to commune, collaborate, conspire, in caring for GOD'S Four Legged CREATURES and Discussing World Peace? Whatever the reason, allow LOVE to be YOUR GUIDE, like the fine men and women, described earlier. SEPTEMBER TRIBE OF JUDAH NATION OF ISRAEL QUEEN OF THE SOUTH (Matthew 12:39-42)
