It felt like a venue from Tuscany. You can tell they take pride in their landscaping as it's beautiful all the way around from front to back. Greenery everywhere, flowers, water running-everything you'd want for a wedding. They have two places where your ceremony can take place-outside back by the forested area or in the courtyard. Both beautiful areas but the wooded area was a DREAM. The sun shining through the trees and the long pathway down to the altar made it stunning. There was plenty of seating for everyone too. We did use the courtyard for cocktail hour, and it was such a good space for chatting, relaxing, and photos!! The inside was also Beauuutiful! A very large room surrounded by big glass windows. They set everything up for us and made each table look so elegant and beautiful. The staff did a wonderful job. The bride's suite was also Unreal!!! The most gorgeous getting ready space with plenty of mirrors and outlets. It has your own personal bathroom, kitchen area, and lounging area. It made the day even that more special! The groom's suite was smaller but still nice with a nice TV as well. Our experience with staff was also great from start to finish as well. Overall, this space is absolutely incredible. I would get married here if I lived here!!

It is very open and looks like it could be used as a small convention site, huge social function, a bazar, wedding or large party! In fact, there were left over streams that looked like a wedding reception had been held. It seems like an old building but had been recently refurbished/painted. For our event, we were seated at large round tables which means some had to turn their chairs. Although we were only there about 3 hours, the venue worked.

One of my relatives mentioned that she wanted to host a mini family reunion but she needed a venue in the Fort Worth area. After brainstorming with a few other relatives, this venue came up. The venue is fairly new and has already hosted many events, from gospel concerts to weekly church services to other gatherings. There are smaller rooms that can be transformed to accommodate the needs of various groups and there is also the grand ballroom that can be rented for more formal events. The prices are very reasonable (think around $300, that's a steal for 4 hours) and includes tables and chairs. You will have to pay a deposit but if you clean up after your event, you deposit will be returned. In addition to being very spacious on the inside, there is plenty of parking outside as well. This is a great venue and should not be overlooked because of its location.

Mind you these are children spending their parents money! They even had qr codes in bathroom stalls to send money. The games are not fun at all, on the first day there was a game of dragging tires. It was 95 degrees outside and nobody had aten. One cabins bunk beds were literal baby pins, nets around them and flat green mattresses. Chris Estrada, the one preaching, sounds like he could be a little crazy. Mentioning how one tome he was at the zoo and a guy said "can i show u something" and blisters came up on him and his skin peeled back. Your not allowed to go back into your cabin until 12pm and then they wake you up at 7am every morning! There were some fun moments but i would only say the fun moments were the people you spent your time with, not the challenges and games.

The cafeteria food was just that. Remember the lunch when you were in school, back in the day or the TV dinners that we had growing up? That is exactly what you will get. This may be a good place for young kids but as a grown up, I do not recommend unless you are a outdoorsy person. We went out as a group and it was definitely not up to our standards at all. The staff was nice and the activity that we did was fun, but again this really has to be for people that like to ruff it.

A lot of my family and friends live in Ennis and I was lucky enough to be in town this year for the Polka Festival. The hall is just what you would think. Big room with a ton of cafeteria style tables and chairs, and a big ol honking dance floor. During special events there will usually be a band playing, food being served and drinks for sale. During Polka Festival you can park you truck or car out in the back to make for perfect tailgating during the horseshoe tournament. Pack your coolers too to avoid paying for booze inside. All in all I recommend checking out the KJT if you're in the area and there's something fun going on.
