Although the venue is relatively nice, our overall experience was poor and the staff were not helpful at all. Where to start... They asked us to have all of the beverages and alcohol there at 12 so the bartenders can prep and get set up. They didn't show up until 4 so all the beer was hot and we were there unnecessarily early. I also had several complaints the bartender was rude and they shutdown the bar without a last call or warning. The pool we were supposed to be able to use was full of algae. Nope! The chairs were set up for 250 people, we needed 140 and there was no aisle to separate the grooms and brides guests. When we requested the change, we were told we would have to do it and put the chairs back at the end of the night or be charged $1000. No soap in the bride's bathroom, flowers were dead at the pavilion, and be prepared to bring everything... If its not a table or chair you better have it because they don't. On a day like that, the devil is in the details and the details were lacking. Could have been a much better experience.

We had 9 people to style full hair and makeup for a 5:30 ready time yet they wouldn't allow us into the venue until 1pm.... Even if we rushed that is an impossible task and left everyone in the room panicking and rushing. The joy of the big day was ruined by their poor and unprofessional timing for this wedding party. Set up should have been at least halfway don't the night before and whoever needed to sleep in should have been up and letting us all in that morning. I've needed venues open by 6-8am many times and they make it work. They don't book the party, set impossible timing goals and not allow the party to be in until mid afternoon! They didn't even allow time for touchups. I hope I never have to work this venue again unless they start thinking about their guests and make their expectations more reasonable to my sweet brides can be relaxed, comfortable and happy.

All three experiences have been top notch - food has been very good and the managers/staff are well experienced at event planning and such. One of the managers even knew my name the third time we were in. Beautiful place as well. Love the rustic barn look. A plus for the ambience. We did clay moving shooting and archery . They were good . Got to see lots of longhorns cows and other cows along with lamas. Didn't have time for other activities but they have more couple. Resturant is not available through out the day , I think that is only drawback I found . But few mins away their are eating places , R&K cafe was good and nearby .
