Just wanted to give a HUGE shout out to Don with Carpetronex!!! Our poor pup had a BIG accident on…read morethe leather couch this evening, and Don answered his phone after 7pm (they're 24/7!!!!!!) when we called in a panic. Sorry for getting graphic, but my pup had projectile diarrhea that was stuck in every thread, cloth backing, and crevice of the couch cushions. Don came all the way from Odenton, and arrived on our doorstep within an hour. Besides bringing all of his equipment and supplies, walking us through some critical prep work to do while he drove over, and sharing great knowledge with us for future accidents, he was SO KIND. His prices were extremely reasonable, especially for an after hours call, and he cleaned up perfectly when he left. The couch is like new again and we are so grateful! If you ever have an emergency with stains/accidents on furniture, mattresses, rugs, carpets, curtains, etc.- CALL DON!!!

Absolutely horrible experience with this company. We were working with a salesperson, Warren, for a…read moretotal house LVP installation with stair runners up until the end of June with installation at the beginning of August. Installers show up without stair runners, never added to the work order, never ordered. Got passed around from person to person until I ended up with Mike, who was totally dismissive. Said Warren didn't work there anymore and we "couldn't" have stair runners with LVP anyway. No explanation for why no one reached out to us after Warren left or why we were sold stair runners and LVP if they weren't compatible (which isn't true). Finally had to go to corporate to get someone to take this seriously. Now all of a sudden we *can* have stair runners but someone has to come measure, order them, then schedule a separate installation. No apology, no explanation for what happened or who dropped the ball. I would never work with this company again and we are still trying to unravel what happened with our installation. No accountability, no apology, just Mike offering lame excuses about how he, the director of operations, has no idea what's going on.

Crown FLooring was prompt, professional, gave us a very fair bid, and did an absolutely outstanding job adding hardwood flooring to our master bedroom. We spent a lot of time getting estimates beforehand, including some from the big box stores. Nima the Crown Flooring sales rep came to our home to help us match existing flooring, and we also visited the showroom in Chantilly, Virginia. Overall, an A+ experience great people, quality wooden flooring, excellent installation. We can't recommend them highly enough!

I dare say OMA has been one of the BEST company I have hired. Professional, affordable and the owner, Mike Akins, is friendly, honest and professional. I originally called him out to clean the basement carpet after sewage water from a plumbing emergency had soaked the carpet. His pricing was so good that I ended up having him do most of the house. Then Mike surprised me and went over and above the space that we had previously agreed on! Amazing work ethics! And now that basement carpet looks like new and no longer smells, and there are those hallmark clean carpet streak marks all over. Thank you, Mike! You will have a repeat customer in me for all my carpet shampooing needs. P.S. But don't buy the Yelp voucher as Mike said they have been trying to take that off their listing for a long time, to no avail. In other words, OMA does not honor that Yelp voucher. I will need to get a refund back from Yelp or my credit card.

0/10 - do not recommend to anyone for anything…read more Terrible experience with this contractor. They were hired to do tile flooring in our kitchen. A crew came out Jan 24th, "completed" the job in 1 day. Tiles were terrible cut, grout was cracking and falling out, trim was barely hanging on. Horrendous job. After much back and forth, they finally came out 5 weeks to fix their terrible work. I was told they would come out to do the work and it would take 1-2 days. It ended up taking them a week, Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday, to re-do the job. Some days were no call no shows, leaving us with plywood from the base construction of the building as our kitchen floors for that week. The job is still not completed as there are still areas of the flooring unfinished. Absolutely terrible work, and even worse customer experience. Would not recommend to anyone looking to have any kind of work done.
