Brian helped fund the deal on my first house purchase waaaay back in 2001. He also helped refinance…read morethat same house twice following the purchase when rates dropped. Fast forward to today... I almost made the mistake of going with one of "the big firms" who claim they fund their own loans. During the process of using "the other guys" I had a bad feeling about the numbers as they kept creeping up. They wanted me to lock in a rate, but wanted me to pay $2k just to lock in the low rate they quoted me a day before as "rates are rising daily." I called Brian, apologized that I ever considered someone else and asked what rate he could lock me in at. Well, he not only locked me in at the same low rate the other lender offered "at the cost of $2k", but Brian locked me in AND got me a lender credit of $3k towards closing costs. So in short, Brian saved me $5k with a simple phone call.
