Cara really knows her property and how everything works. She listens, asks good questions, and offers clear solutions. Whether you're having a good day or a really hard one, she meets you where you are, and I always feel better after speaking with her. Her assistant is equally impressive. The facility is always clean and well‑kept, and I've never seen trash anywhere on the property. When Cara is out, the office is run smoothly and every question I've had has been answered. Together, they make a stellar team. This is exactly what you want in storage facility managers: people who stay on top of everything--whether it's an 18‑wheeler blocking the drive or neighboring businesses leaving trash on the lot--while still treating you with respect and kindness. Managers name is Angie and she is really terrific. The staff at South goes the extra mile to make sure that a customer has everything they need within their power And they do attempt to take the stress out of your move. They have changed ownership and payment options without notifying clients, which has led to late payments when I signed up for automatic payments that were somehow "not available" because of the new system they started, again, without notifying clients. I am moving my stuff to another company in the hopes of getting better rates and service. It has been very rocky, and I would not recommend them as a first choice spot, but "okay" as a last resort since they do have more physical location options than some companies.

The prices for units are jacked up every six months or so, due of course to the fact they are holding your possessions hostage. The latest semi-fraudulent scam AAA Storage is running is to add "insurance" charges to the invoices for their units. You are allowed to opt out of their insurance, but after repeatedly providing their offfice with a copy of my own insurance company's invoice clearly showing the effective dates of coverage, I am continuing to be charged for their insurance. There are many noticeable areas of damage to door weatherstripping, downspout drain hoses etc. which are never repaired. Not recommended.

Moving is such a stressful experience!…read more Fortunately I found AAA Self Storage on Groometown Road. I had never used a storage facility before and wasn't quite sure what to expect. The staff there were super friendly and extremely helpful. The use of the moving truck - for free!! - was a surprise added bonus. I was supposed to keep a single 10 x 20 unit for a month, but ended up with 4 units for two months (to date) Michell Riggs was awesome to work with. She made sure my units were close together for my ease of use and made the whole chaotic and difficult situation a little better - which was very much appreciated! Someone needs to give that lady a raise! :) I've visited the location numerous times to move my belongings out a little at a time and every time, Michell and Julie are friendly and happy to help me in any way possible. Seriously, I can't recommend this place enough. I hope to never have to use it again though! :)
