I will definitely be recommending this PODS franchise in particular. Lamont ended up switching up the PODS and turning one around for best mover access and took it in stride. He was also very respectful of my plants and landscaping, which butted up to the narrow drive, unlike a previous operator from another PODS business who ran over my $60 metal hose that had been moved 2 feet off what I thought was the operative area. Lamont made sure my property and garden was respected and offloading in the days to come will be easier. Thank you for sending the very professional LAMONT to handle this move.

The two guys milked us for extra hours & money...it took them 3 hours to wrap things! Then they wanted to leave without putting the 85, 65 & 60" tvs in the container! After I husband let them know he's not going to be able to move te himself & asked that they take some boxes off (so he could get a U-Haul) they did it! I DON'T RECOMMEND ANYONE MOVING TO USE THEM OR THE MOVERS THEY SUGGEST! PODS need to reimburse me for the two hotels we had to get & the U-Haul to move things! We had to put the items in storage because we're not closing on our house until December 14th (PODS also need to pay to have the container unloaded due to the poor loading & inconvenience we had to deal with)! I hope with the container being delivered on December 15th we can get unloaders that do the job & not phuck off! This was our very first & last time ever to use them!!

I just moved from Jacksonville to Daytona and used D2D movers. They were priced in the middle of…read morethe 5 quotes I received but I liked the presidents (Eric) attitude and delivery of information. When the move happened the actual moved were very nice and respectful and did a good job. Unfortunately, Eric under estimated the size of the truck needed. One the day of the move the truck was filled but there was a lot of stuff still in the garage. The movers left it but Eric (the president )said he will send another truck to get it. What he did was bring his pick up truck over to load things up. I obviously wasn't at the Jacksonville home so didn't see what was left and as it turns out it was a lot. I have traveled back to Jacksonville 23 times to load up what was not moved but unfortunately I still have one item at the house that I cannot move. Last, the ONLY items damaged or broker were by the president. He showed up late to my house on the Friday afternoon of my move. He was obviously unset that he had to do the actual moving of items and was very disrespectful. He didnt realize I was in the garage when he dropped a cabinet onto a box of breakable items. He went to just leave it but then I walked over ... not even an apoligy!!! So what would I say? Make sure they move everything and if they don't and say they will send another truck, you need to leave someone behind to make sure they mover everything. Also, if the president says he will be helping with the move be ready to have items broken!! I am only giving them a 2 because the actual day labor guys were really good!

I chose this place originally because of it's elevation from flooding, security, and it's easy access location, but found many other things to like as well. Units, buildings, and security equipment are all well maintained and the facility is kept impeccably clean. Sue is very friendly, helpful, and honest. Proof in how good they are is in their occupancy rate - normally around 100% all the time. With reference to another post, yes, you do need to read the contracts you sign, they are straight forward as in any rental business. Sue is more than happy to explain any details, up front - if you ask. The only negative is the absolutely wicked speed bumps. (...of course, they do prevent speeding by less courteous renters.)

I occasionally dump some trash in the dumpster at the rear for my business. Today I get yelled at for that because apparently it's only allowed for storage unit owners. Clearly the owner is a cheap ass and trying to save a buck to not dump the dumpster. It would be understandable if I filled it up multiple times a week. I haven't put anything in there in a month. !!!!!Spin city ripped me off consistently for a whole year before I noticed!!!!!!…read moreDon't let them do the same to you. I have gone there for about a year. Considering that the price is negligible, I never checked my bank when I went there. Today I learned that they count on that and it's my intention to stop it through whatever channels are necessary. These people stole from me and they should pay just like any other thief. Let's use today for an example. Today, I went and washed and dryed my clothes. The machines told me it would cost $7.00 for the wash and $2.00 for the dry. I went to my banks app and found out it was actually $12.00 for the wash and $4.00 for the dry. That's a small but proportionally large example of them stealing from me. There were no signs saying it would cost more or that there would be any fee and there was no separated fee. Just charges to my bank account that.m were higher than what I was I told which is, by definition, stealing or "fraud" which is how I will write it in my report. The point is, don't go to spin city if you don't want them to steal from you because they will. If you don't believe me, go there, use your card and then look at your account. If enough people did that and realized they were getting ripped off, we could solve this problem as a community. I'm all about supporting small businesses but I'm also all about exposing thieves who steal from me. If I'm effective, this review will be outdated. If I'm not, you're being ripped off by Spin City laundromat. Maybe they are using some loophole I'm not aware of but if I can prove fraud, this will stop.
