I completed the entire lease process online, including signing all documents. I had no sooner finished the lease purchase when I received a phone call from Sarah confirming my reservation. Sarah has communicated expectations, and I have set up auto-pay to ensure my payment is made regardless of what other things I have ongoing each month. The auto-pay feature offers a great piece of mind. I feel like this location is as secure as possible with the installed gate, cameras, and lighting. No location, including your backyard, guarantees security, but this is why I carry full coverage on my investment and list FreeUp Storage as an interested party. After a month of leasing from FreeUp, I am confident in posting a five-star review of my experience. I want to Thank Sarah for reaching out and offering the information and assistance she has provided. I have had my RV at four other RV Storage facilities over time and have not had this level of customer service in any of those experiences. Classic became Spare Box and this last year they had a rat infestation. I was not notified of the…read moreissue. Perhaps some of my things could have been saved if I was made aware early on. Apparently there we no preventive measure (bait Boxes) to prevent the issue then someone decided it was a good idea to store dog food in the units. Company is telling tenants they are not responsible for the damaged goods however I have been told they are "going after the dog food person for 90,000.00. Well what about everyone who has suffered complete losses of their belongings. They are still renting out these units even though the hazmat teams have not been there to do a terminal clean. Not cool. Rats carry many diseases which are transferrable to humans. The insulation and steel in the buildings is still contaminated and there are probably some tenants such as myself which have not been notified. Springs on the doors are damaged and I could not close mine after finally getting help to open it. Customer service is off shore and said someone would be there in 24 hrs. Manager came out, he was aware of the infestation and my door remained open for several days. I stopped payment and now been locked out and cannot salvage anything. I have been trying to find an attorney, without success at this time. All their concern seems to be about payment and not the losses of family items from my history and the furniture I have lost. Same guy who answered this morning practically rolled his eyes and said he isn't management and could not just cancel my order and put the money back on my card. His hit me before and I am moving to a home far from here to escape him because he broke and DESTROYED my house top to bottom when I was at work on 6/13/25 and was arrested.
