I purchased a John Deere lawn mower. Sales person didn't help me choose an appropriate mower for my yard, he just wanted to upsell me to get a higher commission most likely. They told me a delivery day, then kept pushing it back. I finally called and they told me a delivery day with a time estimate for the delivery between 9 am and 5 pm. They not only did not delivery on the day they said they would, but they did not even call. I'm really disappointed and won't go back to this store. read more

middletown tractor washington county pa : They are anxious to sell JD x330. They are not good about standing behind their product. They said that the carb was bad and would not be covered by warranty. I called warranty department it turns out they didn't even submit it. they said gas was bad .my other small gas engines ran just fine . They would have saved face by saying we submitted it but it was declined. they then tell me it will be delivered monday i wait around they change schedule to next day and don't notify me. Just got my JD Gator back from MiddleTown after maintenance . There was a immediate problem with the Gator. I called Middletown, they sent a mechanic out immediately. Nat the mechanic was great, he went back to the shop, got the parts, and stopped at our farm on his way home to fix. Nat was absolutely wonderful!! read more

Do not trust Middletown tractor supply! Recently purchased a used Gravely walk behind mower there and will never do business with this company again!! The mower 's hour meter is non working and they will not acknowledge this complaint nor do they seem to understand what I am trying to tell them when I say I have no idea how many hours are on this machine. Salesman who sold me mower that is for a higher power then hung up on me. After I filed complaint with John Deere financial , they (John Deere) gave me name of sales manager and said he would be contacting me!! He never did and my 2 calls to him were never returned!! So my next step is telling my story to all sites with bad reviews and the BBB. I just want them to take their mower back and forgive loan for selling merchandise ( mowers) they advertise on their website with certain hours and you have no idea how many hours are on machine !! Mr. Adam Boyers President Middletown Tractor Sales 2050 Boyers Drive Fairmont, WV 26554 Dear Mr. Boyers, I'm writing to express my severe disappointment with Middletown Tractor sales. I am a 21 year customer of Middletown, and its predecessor company in Washington, PA. Over the years I have purchased a JD 990, Gator XUV 590 S4, LX 277, X570, Lawn Pride Mower deck, Lawn Pride Blade, service and parts. I noticed a decline in service responsiveness around 2020, most likely a result of Pandemic related issues. But nothing like what exists currently. I called to get help with a disabled X570, and was told that I would have to wait 6 weeks before the lawn tractor could be picked up. And, based on past experience I'd guess at least another 5-6 weeks to have the repairs done. I'm sorry, but as much as I love John Deere products, and previously really enjoyed great service from Middletown Tractor, this is unacceptable. So, I'm faced with having to make a new lawn tractor purchase and I have lost faith in John Deere and Middletown. I'd prefer NOT to buy Kubota but feel I have no choice. I realize that I'm a minor customer, $50,000 or so spent over the course of 20 years is a rounding error in the larger scheme of things. But, if I am but one of hundreds of customers who are dealing with this lack of service, ultimately it will seriously damage the John Deere brand. Service Dept is unacceptable. I fully understand that times are difficult and people don't want to work, but the lack of communication is terrible. There was a hydraulic issues with with our tractor. The tractor has very little time on it and shouldn't be having these issues. They have had our tractor for one month. We have called several times and only get we will get to it. After a phone call yesterday they were finally to deliver today. Well called again today only to find out this was no longer the case. We called the corp office and they had to call the dealer. Finally after many calls and a lot of time they are now supposed to bring it today. John Deere's are an investment and I expect a dealership to take care of there customers and not give them the run around. Truly disappointed and they have lost our business for all future purchases. read more

I went to them with my list to do a tuneup on my little John Deere riding mower. The guy behind the counter looked at the list and came back with a box that John Deere prepared with everything in it. Hallelujah!! I would have forgotten something. Maybe their style is basic but they have everything you need. I like that!
