This was the first time that I had visited this optometrist's office. The reviews are what convinced me to visit, as I was interested in trying a different optometrist. There was nothing wrong with my previous one...I should have just stayed. My experience must have, unfortunately, been unique from all of these other reviewers. It took me two months to finally get a pair of lenses that were almost identical to the lenses that I already owned. I wish that I could review Dr. Fisher separate from the rest of the office staff, as she was wonderful, and tried her best to help my vision improve. During my initial interaction with the opticians, I asked several questions about the lens technology that was available, as previously, I've always just said yes to whatever past opticians have said would be helpful in my lens. Unfortunately, I was not given even somewhat helpful responses. When picking out frames, the opticians were welcoming and helpful with other people, but when I was picking out mine, the optician just sat at her table and looked around, unless I specifically asked a question. As an example, when I asked about the time that the transitions technology (for which I've never had before) took to shift from normal to shaded, my answer was that it took a fraction of the time that the previous version did...I've never had it before, so how would I know what that even means? When I asked for more info, she handed me a pamphlet and told me to read it...while I was dilated already. There were several answers to questions I had, and this is literally their job to know this information. This is just one of many examples of the experience that I had at this office. Finally, it took me several visits for adjustment, as I had issues, such as the frames being too heavy, causing irritation on the bridge of my nose, slipping, bad sizing of the temple arms, and I mentioned that these were concerns when I originally visited. It ended up taking 3 pairs, and I had to fight to get the last pair, as they wanted to charge me for a whole new pair, even though the mistake was not my own, but the optometrist's. Also, it takes several days (if at all) to receive return phone calls, as no one other than the receptionists answer the phone. As much as I liked Dr. Fisher, her opticians gave me the worst experience I've had at an office. In the end, my lenses were still quite a bit heavier than my previous ones, even when using the same frames and type of lens as I got from my previous optometrist (and still had to pay the cost of new frames plus lens). Tl;dr: Came because of the reviews, but won't be returning. My Optometrist was great, but the opticians were horrible. The manager and optometrists should be embarrassed by my experience with their opticians. read more

I just had my first appointment with Dr. Landrum, this place is a top-notch organization. First of all, it was the very first time I have never had to fill out insurance paperwork, as they already had it all pre-filled out by the computer. I got in and out in record time, they gave me free samples for some new contacts to try, and everyone was extremely friendly. Highly recommended! read more
