While the event space itself is beautiful, my experience with the staff and catering was extremely disappointing. From start to finish, the event staff were unprofessional and rude to my guests. Several guests were told they could only have one plate despite us paying for an open buffet, which caused embarrassment. One catering staff member even pushed my mother and maintained a negative attitude throughout the event. I also became ill after eating the turkey meatballs we ordered. I do not eat beef, yet the food appeared to contain beef, causing severe stomach discomfort for me. Interestingly, my guests did not have any issues, which suggests there may have been a mistake in the preparation. I brought these concerns to the attention of the event coordinator, who I believe is the owner, Carla, but the staff's behavior was excused rather than addressed. Unfortunately, despite the beautiful space, I cannot recommend Grace Event Center due to the unprofessionalism of the staff and catering issues. I would suggest considering other venues to avoid a similar experience.

The Center has choice rooms to accommodate your guests, free parking, and nice restroom facilities. When I did visit the area in person, they welcomed me with open arms. It was like we met before but we hadn't! The owner, Mrs. Carla and Office Manager, Mrs. Lisa were the greatest in helping me plan my event. The entire Staff was very friendly, courteous and hospitable. The food was delicious, seasoned to taste, and we all had plenty to eat! I had a wonderful time along with all my guests, DJ, and decorator! Look no further when planning a nice event, this is the right place! I truly wish to thank everyone who played a part in my celebration and look forward to my next event. It was well worth the trip (300+ miles away). I was a happy vintage Queen! They were out front by the entrance and around 9 started playing music extremely loud (with the bass and all). The entrance is quite a distance from my room and it was LOUD and I could feel the bass. This went on til 2:30 am. At 5:30am the group started gathering to leave-music blaring, revving the motorcycles, beeping the horns, etc. Absolutely ridiculous that nothing was done to put a stop to this.

Since I'm allergic to feather pillows, down, etc, I put in a request for a synthetic pillow. When I checked in, none were available. The front desk clerk even walked me into the supply room and I could see this for myself. He gave me a cotton comforter and a flat sheet to wrap around it and this was my "pillow". So when I checked out, I told the woman at the front desk what had happened, that I was coming back the next week, and please set aside a synthetic pillow for me. She pulled my records and noted all this. Came back the next week and brought along my own pillow from home just in case. Same thing! Nothing had been reserved for me. They do remove all feather pillows before you enter the room, but even requesting in advance both in the reservation and in person had no effect in terms of saving one for me (not even three, just one!). They were friendly, helpful, the rooms were clean, but this was not acceptable to me. Also, the breakfast was very sparse, nothing like most Holiday Inns - some bread stuff, some meat stuff, some dried cereal, yogurt in the fridge. Nothing they should brag about.

this past week i was invited to a graduation party . the owner started off nice . but as the event…read morestarted that went down hill from there .his attitude was unacceptable. The children were sitting in the back and he asked them to get up and started to pack up the tables and so people started to leave thinking that the event was over and it was only 850. The event was supposed to go to 11 o'clock one time I overheard him telling the children that he would shut the place down. so if there was a problem, he was supposed to go to an person that signed the contract. we were packing up to go and got locked out as my sister and I were taking things to the car and We could not get back in. The Photo Booth was shut down at 9 o'clock. This gentleman needs to take a course in management. He walked through the whole place like he was angry the whole night making everyone very uncomfortable. The behavior of this owner is unacceptable so please be careful when renting this place but if you like attitude, then this might work for you, but for me and my family never again
