Had an appointment set up a few weeks ago but realized I wouldn't be in town. I called to cancel…read morethe appointment and was forwarded to voicemail where they said they'd call me back. They did not. I called at least two more times. Left voice mail both times. No one called me. I did not attend the appointment on Friday after I tried to cancel three times and they put me down as a no-show. On Tuesday morning, they emailed, robo-called, and texted me to let me know I was charged and needed to reschedule. Almost forgot, when I got a robocall to confirm my appointment, the options were 1 - confirm and ... There was no other route despite the machine desperately asking me to enter an option. Such a waste of time!

I have been trying to reschedule my appointment and all I get is music to listen to regardless of what time I call. no box to leave a voicemail message for my Doctor . in this age of hi tech it is hard to believe that they have not spent the time or money on administration and staff development. I have referred many friends and family members to the practice and almost all have had unfortunately the same experience.

Wow what can I say! I have severe Claustrophobia and I needed a clearance for a medical procedure…read morethat I am having. I had to have a full series of Echocardiogram and Nuclear stress. The front staff is so amazing at Port Jeff Location, Ashley assured me I would get through the Nuclear test and the cat scan machine. They let me try it before having the radiation injection, and I freaked out from my claustrophobia. Frank and Rocco were very companionate about my problem and we sat and talked about getting me through the anxiety. I had no choice to get medical clearance for my surgery and they both helped me calm down and talked to me every step of the way. Today I accomplished one of my biggest fears with the help of the entire staff and I am very grateful to all of them. I thank all of you that work there, this was a very big step since I have not been able to do an MRI, Cat Scan, and get on an airplane since I was at 911. I highly recommend Island Cardiovascular and Dr. Malhotra!
