Well, based on my previous experiences with other dentists, this threw me for a loop. . . Until, I was offered nitrous oxide! Never had it but was assured it would limit my anxiety, so, of course I said yes. Have had two of the four procedures and am SO pleased. The whole experience using modern technology (not offered by previous practitioner) which assured real time assessment and modifications as needed. First: I was told by the office manager that my crown could not be fixed in one visit because they would "lose money blocking three time slots other patients would be able have," since the timing was "unknown for my fix." Instead, I was told I would need two visits that could be scheduled weeks apart. That explanation felt inappropriate and not aligned with patient-centered care. On top of that, the email responses I received from the office manager, Beth, were rude, degrading, and unprofessional. This exchange was simply for requesting my dental records for my new dentist. Not the standard of professionalism I would expect in healthcare. Don't go here!!!! There are plenty other options in the area.
