We recently hired Baran Electric to install a NEMA 6-50 outlet with a 40A breaker for our new EV…read more Our home had outdated Federal Pacific panels, which are known to be unsafe. Although Dan recommended replacing all three panels, he understood our initial goal was just to add an EV charging outlet. He suggested a practical solution: replace only the panel serving the new outlet. Dan provided clear quotes for several options, including removing old electric heating panels in the garage, installing a new panel for the EV charger, and replacing all panels and wiring in the garage's electric room. Throughout the process, Dan was calm, accommodating, and always ready to help. We ultimately decided to proceed with all the recommended upgrades. Dan's pricing was very competitive, and his team was competent, diligent, and respectful. The work was completed on schedule, and the electrical inspector was extremely pleased with the quality, offering high praise for Dan and his crew. We highly recommend Baran Electric for any electrical work--especially if you value professionalism, expertise, and fair pricing.

The bulbs kept burning out and sparkles came out of the recess light shell. I called the owner of the company, Tom Iaione, several time to come back to rectify the problems. He did not even bother to return any of my calls. I showed the Iaione light installation to another contractor. My contractor informed me that the entire installation is against the Electrical Code and it might create a severe fire hazards. These people do not even know the basic facts and knowledge about electric installation. I cannot figure out how they obtained the sate licence. I have filed formal complaints against them with Better Business Bureau and Board of Examiners of Electrical Contractors. But, Iaione has failed to provide responses. Iaione is not qualified to be a licensed electrician. Please join me and file your complaints against Iaione with the same agencies. May be the board suspends their license for not doing any other shoddy jobs. THEY ALL HORRIBLE. AVOID THEM AT ANY COST. I

This company is truly a hidden gem and here's why:…read more From the very beginning, they provided a straightforward, no-fluff cost estimate. No back and forth, no surprises -- just honest pricing compared to other competitors. They show up exactly when they say they will and follow up with a phone call if anything changes. Their performance is precise, professional, and highly efficient. They work within a timeframe that fits the customer's schedule -- and they are on time, every time. If additional work is needed due to a customer oversight, they adjust pricing fairly and cost-effectively. They are friendly, warm, and show a genuine interest in your project. They provide real value-added recommendations that are practical and realistic. I solicited estimates from five other electricians, and they clearly stood out -- not only in cost, but in overall performance. Their estimate was well within my budget. If there were a rating higher than 10, I would give it. The job felt truly complete when my wife personally thanked the electrician, that says everything. The project was involved with wiring for a two-story building, attic crawl space, wiring outside the building, Electrical panel upgrade and basement outlets for hot water on demand system. This was not an easy task, but they truly handled it efficiently. A true winner. Highly recommended.
