Derrick Brady did good work for me until I asked him to install a new front door knob, and he…read moreinstalled a plate behind it that was full of holes (see photo)! I could hardly believe it, and called to ask him for an explanation. He said I had said "same day" (which I hadn't, there was no rush), and said it was what he had in stock. I asked him to get an intact plate and redo it. He did so ... charged me hundreds of dollars ... and I paid and thanked him. Since that time, however, he will not pick up the phone when I call, nor repond to my texts. What a baby! He did a ridiculous job, I asked him nicely to correct it, and this is the treatment I got.

Our move with this company was approximately a quarter mile and was supposed to take two days. It…read moretook six days. They worked three hours a day for the first three days then took Sunday off. They then worked another three hours on the fifth day finally finishing with a five hour day on the last day. They were careless and damaged almost every piece of furniture they moved with gouges, scratches and cracks. They damaged baseboards and walls in both homes as well. The owner's solution was to tell us to go to a hardware store and get the materials we needed to fix the damage ourselves. They failed to reassemble furniture once it was moved or reassembled things incorrectly. They did not move all items that were agreed to and dropped some items wherever they felt like. Unfortunately, the owner did not provide a written contract and, despite the damage and his failure to live up to the verbal agreement, insisted on full payment when they finally finished. I wouldn't hire this guy again to move a dog house.

If you're looking for a cleaning company in the Colorado Springs area that actually takes pride in their work, I highly recommend Pikes Peak Pristine Cleaning. I will absolutely be using them again! Unfortunately, the oven and fridge were barely touched. When I contacted management, the owner refused to resolve the issue, claiming I underreported the condition of the appliances, both of which had nothing more than average soiling, and in fact we had washed the refrigerator shelves the day before. The company did not notify me of any issues or extra fees during the service. Very disappointed in the lack of accountability and incomplete work for such a high price. The baseboards in the kitchen were not cleaned and the window sills were not cleaned. We have used professional cleaners for all of our move out cleanings over the years and have never had a problem with things just being left not done before.

Mr. Henry seemed very nice, and to know what he was talking about. However when he produced his bid, it was $1950 to paint two rooms. I almost dropped my teeth. Was he trying to rip off an out-of-towner? Trying to rip off a woman alone (my husband was gone)? Or just thought I was some idiot who would pay him $1000 per room to paint? Or did not want the job? I can't imagine, but it was an insult to even receive such a bid. I told him "this is very high" and he left abruptly. I am attaching a photo of the bid, so you can see this is for real.
