I called Henry's for a bid for a very small job here - to paint a bathroom and a sun room (about…read morethe size of a small bedroom). Mr. Henry seemed very nice, and to know what he was talking about. However when he produced his bid, it was $1950 to paint two rooms. I almost dropped my teeth. Was he trying to rip off an out-of-towner? Trying to rip off a woman alone (my husband was gone)? Or just thought I was some idiot who would pay him $1000 per room to paint? Or did not want the job? I can't imagine, but it was an insult to even receive such a bid. I told him "this is very high" and he left abruptly. I am attaching a photo of the bid, so you can see this is for real. In all my years of having work done, no one ever gave me an estimate, but then lowered it because they miscalculated for materials. Unfortunately, the oven and fridge were barely touched. When I contacted management, the owner refused to resolve the issue, claiming I underreported the condition of the appliances, both of which had nothing more than average soiling, and in fact we had washed the refrigerator shelves the day before. The company did not notify me of any issues or extra fees during the service. Very disappointed in the lack of accountability and incomplete work for such a high price. The baseboards in the kitchen were not cleaned and the window sills were not cleaned. We have used professional cleaners for all of our move out cleanings over the years and have never had a problem with things just being left not done before.

Nicholas suggested that the faucet had become clogged with sentiment and, most likely, all that was needed was to replace faucet. I purchased a new faucet and installed it and the problem was solved. Nicholas did not earn anything from me at that time, but I was so impressed with him and his willingness to share basic information that saved me money, I kept his contact information. I was not able to loosen the drain plug so I called him. He worked with my schedule, came over and he was able to remove the frozen plug so I could flush my water heater. It's really great to meet someone like Nicholas who puts customer service first. I can not recommend Nicholas enough.
