Outstanding Customer Service!! Recently, I was on a summer road trip to Detroit, and my air-conditioning on HONDA CRV stopped working during the trip. I took it hesitantly to Midas in my friend's neighborhood (west Bloomfield, MI) because I always get all services done at my local Honda dealer in MN. I tried Honda service centers in Detroit but all of them long waiting times. Anyway, I had positive vibes after talking to Tony at customer service. They called me after few hours to inform that AC is gone and they need to install a new one. The charges were in thousands so again I was skeptical and called my local Honda to confirm the charges etc. Anyway, I decided to go ahead. Tony explained to me that generally, they like to take 2 days as they check for a full day to make sure everything is working as expected. However, I did not have that much time, so he did everything in a day and gave me the car next day. I drove for few short runs, and everything was working fine especially AC was giving cold air. However next day while starting my journey back, I realized some water dripping passenger side. I got worried and called Tony again. He asked me to return so that he can fix it (he had an idea what the problem was) but I did not have 2-3 hrs to get it done. He assured me that I could take it my local Midas in MN and they will fix it. Hesitantly, I drove back and though that I will call local Midas. However, I was not sure that how they are going to handle it. To my surprise, I got a call from a Midas, West Bloomfield, MI, and he said I am Alex and wanted to know if you had a chance to visit local Midas. I said no, I did not have an opportunity to do it. Alex asked me the address of local Midas and called it to tell them the issue with my car. He called me back and said that I should talk to Keith at my local Midas, and he will take care of the AC issue free of charge. Only thing is that we need to drop it for a whole day. We did exactly that, and Keith took care of the problem. I am impressed by this outstanding service, where Alex/Tony at Midas, West Bloomfield went above and beyond their duties to make sure that customer needs are taken care. I have nothing but great things to say about this shop after my experience here and would recommend them to anyone I know. Originally I took my 2009 Subaru Outback here to get a power steering pump replaced and a fluid flush. Upon taking a better look at my car they found my power steering pump was actually working fine and it was just a loose belt tensioner that needed to be tightened up which they fixed for FREE! Since I also needed to get both CV boots replaced on my car anyway, they were able to replace the entire axel in the same day along with clamping down a loose heat shield that made the most awful rattling sound for way cheaper than I was quoted anywhere else and it worked! My car is rattle-free for the first time since I bought it. All in all I spent way less than what I was planning to, got more repairs done at once, had my car back the same day and appreciated their prompt service and honest attitude. I've been to many dealerships, collision shops, and the like - and I've never had better service than at Midas. Everyone I met here was very nice and the end report they gave me indicated they did a thorough inspection of my car and gave some helpful feedback on what should be tended to next which I appreciated a lot. They also cleaned my car up nice and since then my car has never run better. If you're looking for a reliable, honest, affordable shop that provides amazing customer service, then do yourself a favor and take your car here! read more

Alex, Adam, and the rest of the crew at this auto repair shop are the absolute best in the business! They came highly recommended to me, and I was blown away by their service. My vehicle was out of warranty, by just a few weeks, and the Ford dealer would not even look at the problem for less than a small fortune. Another garage looked at the trouble codes, and wanted to just start replacing parts, at a cost that was out of this world. I took my car to Alex, and he and Adam ran the diagnostics, and found a known issue from the manufacturer, which they quickly repaired. When I picked my vehicle up, they only charged me a very reasonable labor fee, and I was on my way. I can't say enough good things about this place. I will never go anywhere else. As a side note, I am so comfortable with Alex and his crew, that I would not hesitate to send my 16 y.o. daughter in there if she had a problem with her car. That is how much I trust them! This Midas location has excellent service. Now I rarely write reviews but I had to give a shout out to the people at Midas. Any issue my car has had (and there have been many) Scott, Alex, and the rest of the staff there have taken amazing care of me and my car. I'm not super knowledgeable about cars but I do my research when I have issues (including receiving estimates from at least three mechanics across the region). Every time, Midas has provided me with high quality service and parts, as well as the lowest costs in the area. I really wish I connected with them years ago! They work with you on pricing when possible and are people that I trust to not take advantage of me, which has always been a key concern of mine when locating a "good" mechanic. I have never been more pleased with the service I received from Midas on Saturday. My break fluid completely evaporated and I called frantic, Alex was so professional and told me it would be a 15 minute wait before he could see the car and assess it. They were punctual and professional and I would recommend them for service....Alex was so kind and caring and I have yet to see that type of service anywhere let alone that the price was beyond reasonable. Finding a reliable and trustworthy mechanic can be difficult and challenging. Fortunately, now that I've discovered the Midas at Maple and Orchard Lake I no longer have to worry. I bring my car to them for everything. The owner is a standup guy and their mechanics are amazing. They do great work, service is speedy, and prices are competitive. Most importantly, they're reliable and honest. They very clearly delineate what needs to be done vs. what you could or should think about doing. I am very thankful that I have found somewhere I can trust to care for my car. I needed 4 tires and a brake job and was quoted the best price at this Midas. I was very satisfied with the work done. Today I was back for routine oil change and once again I was very satisfied. I would recommend making an appointment to reduce waiting time. Tony was kind enough to call me today prior to my appointment to inform me that there would be a delay, and offered me another appointment earlier or later. MY NEW CAR REPAIR STORE. Went to Belle tire on Saturday for tire leak issue and they couldn't take me until Monday. They suggested I go next door to Midas. Walked over and they said 90 minutes. i filled out paperwork and walked to my car to get wheel locks. Service man was already looking at tire in parking lot, diagnosed issue, patched tire. By the time i returned to waiting room to pay it was done. in and out in less that 15 minutes. New Lifetime customer. read more

This place is the ultimate rip off. They will lie and tell you what you need for your car that you really don't need for your car. The guy with the great red face and the beard always has an attitude. Seems like he's pissed off at the world he should not be working there. This is the place to go!! Not only are they honest but they also have awesome financing options. I have some challenged credit, but they were able to get me back on the road with their no credit financing thru their Midas account. They fixed my ball joints so my ride was tight and then also diagnosed why my check engine light and fixed that so its all fixed now read more
